Rooms are clean and comfortable. Ive stayed here before and will stay again when I’m n Gilroy.

Excellent service at the front desk and great rooms. So clean and fresh!

Nice room w/fireplace. A couple things; two of us, one wash cloth. Bring your own or make sure you're the first to shower. You can always ask housekeeping as well I'm sure. Also, bring your own coffee condiments. Unless you like it black (They do have the individual packets, but never enough and. But all in all very nice.

Great hotel for the price. Rooms were updated and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of food and drink options, much more than some of the other Best Westerns. We will definitely stay there again.

Rooms are nice, AC works well. Staff has been awesome and the food is like any other best Western. Only issue would be how packed it is during breakfast, currently every table gets filled up after about 6:10ish and there are even people eating in the lobby so if you want to eat and relax a bit get there early for breakfast.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at for the price! Nice big rooms, very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the balcony.

We were on the first floor since we have dogs. There's a small patio area outside that was perfect for the dogs! The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is centrally located and right off the main freeway.

Check in was a breeze, gal was very polite. Our room was nice and clean, cleaning crew were all so helpful.

We loved our stay at the Best Western Plus in Gilroy, CA! The staff were friendly. The hotel is in a nice, peaceful area. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was awesome! We stayed here due to a medical appointment for our son. We were very happy and comfortable here!

We found our room to be very comfortable and clean. Also, it was nice to be able to walk on the carpet barefoot. The staff was very efficient and friendly.

Great friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Clean comfortable quiet rooms. Well maintained facility including swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis courts and fitness room.

Everything about the Loudness? It was very loud there. People over you are trampling on the wooden floor, the roomdoors (made of Metal or so) we’re clapping very loud about the whole floor.
The windows at the doors are very dirty (fingers and hands on it).
The breakfast was ok, but not amazing.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly, but the cleaning staff was very loud on the floor in the morning.
Never stay there again!

Door slams all the time, sound carries a long way (wood floors). Everyone partys non stop. Have to have ear plugs for this hotel. Staff seemed nicer then other hotels I've been to (a lot of hotels). Breakfast is a nice treat, every day. Back door and porch are convenient to go out for a smoke. Beds are nice and soft.

Very convenient location for where we were traveling and you know that Best Western properties are consistent. Nice bedding/towels which are important factors to me. Somewhat noisy with doors slamming, and floor above us but that's the quality of the property.

Very bad service at the reception the Mamager of the evening very rude and rasista be careful with it we didn't want to give room for being Latin.

My home away from home. Beautiful area, located within walking distance to restaurants and gas stations. Centrally located for me so that in the summer I can school shop Gillory Outlets, Salinas Mall for the best back to school deals. Great pool, hot tub for after a long day and great to keep the kids occupied. They offer a complimentary breakfast before 10am and have three stories of Indoor rooms with all the amenities. If you like to shoot guns, skeet, sporting clay this is the perfect location. 20 mins from one of the nicest ranges in the USA.

We had a very nice experience with this hotel. Room was really clean and I would have given 5 stars but we only had 3 towels in the room and there was 4 of us. It was too cold to swim but the pool and hot tub area looked like a place my family would have enjoyed taking a dip. The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good too and the lady working kept up with keeping the area clean and stocked. They had a very nice entrance with a fountain as well and seemed very inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean place and a great stay. The rooms are in great condition and well kept. The staff is friendly and they serve coffee and cookies in the lobby, plus the complimentary breakfast is very abundant and good (eggs, bacon, ham, pancakes, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and much more). I recommend this place.

Loved how the hotel room had wood floors instead of carpet. Great beds, but the pillows weren't very good. I would bring your own. It had a heated pool and hot tub. Would stay again here again!

Felt welcome, owner very nice and easy to talk to. My daughter got a henna tattoo on her hand and arm, very nice, quick and affordable. Parking in back… a big plus.

My wife and I spent four nights in this hotel and found it reasonably priced and very clean and comfortable. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. While Gilroy isn't a particularly interesting town from a tourist perspective (at least not in mid-winter when we were there) the hotel affords easy access to roads leading to Monterey and other coastal areas a short distance away. I would definitely stay in this hotel again on subsequent trips to the area.

Not a bad hotel. Hard wood floors in the rooms and tile in the bathroom. Bed was nice and the room was clean on the surface. There was dust on several things especially under the sink on the shelf. Check in was fast and pleasant.

I like it because it is very quiet the place I felt comfortable in the picina there are not many people.

They have a cute theme coupled with Black Bear Diner across the lot and there are bears and a bridge covered water landscape as you walk in. The breakfast was was stocked with everything from fruit to pancakes. Pretty much everything you could have wanted for a classic breakfast was available. The rooms were clean and well kept.

This is my second stay here now in the month of December to visit the Holiday at Night events at Gilroy Gardens. I have to say it appears to be the most decent hotel on the strip in Gilroy of hotels. Others look pretty shabby. The breakfast is good. Although it was quite busy yesterday and there was a long line (it was New Year’s Day) it was worth the wait. The lady that works the breakfast area is helpful and friendly. Another nice bonus is that they have milk substitutes for those who cannot use cow milk (like my child who is allergic), and they also have a sign up for those who are unable to have gluten, stating that upon request, they have gluten free options. The rooms are clean, the shower works well and does not go cold on you quick. This second time around we got a fireplace room, and initially it did not work simply because the pilot light was out. We we came back around 11 pm, we stopped at the front desk and they had someone come to our room to get it lit not even 10 minutes later. The pool area looks nice, but it’s winter so I haven’t been. Check in and check out process is quick. The only thing is when I stayed on the first floor the first time, the noise level does get a bit much as people are constantly coming past your room, etc, so if possible, stay on a higher floor, and if it’s winter, do the fireplace! Good times.

Had $10k worth of tools stolen out of our work truck here and several other vehicles were hit as well. No security cameras no security guards and the police officer said it's the hotel they get the most reports on, several a week, with stolen cars and tools. If you own a company or are just working in Gilroy stay somewhere else.

Continental breakfast was amazing. They were the only hotel to have a hot tub available. Rooms are beautiful! Staff is amazingly nice and always ready for anything you need help with. The price was great too. Made my 6 years old's birthday the best for him. Will definitely be returning whenever we can. I highly recommend!

Comfortable/clean hotel. Nice hot continental breakfast included with stay. Have stayed here multiple times and experience was always pleasant.

My wife and I have stayed at Forest Park at least two other times because it is centralized to things we want to do and see in the Monterey, Carmel and Santa Cruz areas. We like the small town feel of Gilroy and this hotel has always been top notch for us. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and not too far from a very large retail Outlet Mall. A great place to stay. It’s quiet and well maintained.

Clean rooms, sauna, hot tub, pool, great breakfast, great people to deal with, handi capped room could use more room to get around in, doors coukd use push button to open for handi capped access, side walks are not the best for handi capped access, liked the fact that there was hotel customer laundry, did I say breakfast was great lol lots of variety, was told my room had 2 queen beds. They were twin beds and a little stiff.

Pleasant reception, very accommodating staff, large parking, close to the expressway but still quiet, could sleep well, reach well, sufficient breakfast.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very quiet. They were roomy and well done. I really enjoyed my stay here. They had a beautiful pool and a great breakfast with lots of choices. I will definitely stay here again!

I stay in hotels with some regularity. I'm and outside sales person who promotes customer service and believe it's the only way to truly promote any business. I'm honest when it comes to grading my experience. If its great you should know, if its not you should know. My stay at this BW was fantastic, the staff, the room, location, breakfast and cost exceeded expectations. You should stay Here!

I stayed in the lower costing room with two queen beds. This room was large and well furnished. I loved that it has laminate flooring and not an icky carpet. The room had a microwave, small fridge in-room Wi-Fi and a balcony. I can't wait to try the free breakfast… Will definitely stay here again.

It is a nice place to stay at a decent price compared to others in the area. Make sure the door closes behind you in the room. The pillows are small and hard. We have stayed twice in two years and each time the elevator has broken on Sunday morning. Weird. Free breakfast but you get what you pay for. We go across the parking lot to the diner for breakfast. The vending machines always jam too. On the plus side the people who work there are nice and helpful and it has good access to the freeway and local restaurants.

Best complementary breakfast. Swimming pool was great. However, spa was too hot. Bed was comfortable.

When we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by a college football team… That was also staying at the hotel. They were surprisingly quiet and respectful. We stayed in a family room, and it was roomy and clean. There are two rooms and just one a/c unit, so if you close the door the extra room gets VERY hot. Staff was very nice! Not sure we would stay again.

Best western was casual. It was nothing special. They don't see of we are doing well. The bed was comfortable. Shower was a little hard to understand. The pool is in werid and not so private location. You can smell people smoke and hear them talking in the hallways. Other than that it is all well.

We travel regularly to this area for dog agility competitions. I can always count on BW Forest Park Inn to be clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable and we appreciate the convenience of a full breakfast buffet ready for us each morning. We make sure our dog is a polite guest, and thank Best Western for being dog friendly.

We travel on a motorcycle and have stayed in many Best Western Hotels, as well as others. This Best Western is one of the best we have stayed at. It is very well run, clean, quiet, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Having ridden several hours in 90+ heat the pool was wonderful. It was not so cold you couldn't stay in it, but cool enough to escape the heat. Each room has a private balcony and the area was quiet so you could enjoy sitting outside. It had a super breakfast menu. We recommend this Best Western.

Reception was wonderful; we arrived hours before our check in time and we were going to just get some work done in the lobby, but they immediately found a clean room for us! The room is clean and updated, and on the third floor so we have a tall vaulted ceiling. Nice television, small microwave and a mini fridge as well as the usual hotel amenities (ironing board, toiletries, etc). The beds are comfortable and the linens clean and fresh. The bathroom is laid out a little differently than most hotels, but it's not a big deal at all. Nice updated vanity and sink, but there's a clear line of torn wallpaper where the old vanity backsplash used to be. Hotel has free Wi-Fi for guests, which was perfect for us since we needed it for work. Connection was fine and the speed is around 5mbps down, which is enough to do our work online and watch some videos at the end of the day. Parking is an open first come, first served style lot around the building, but it was always wide open for us. Overall a fine experience, but nothing dazzling. I would stay here again given the chance, especially after how helpful and accommodating the staff was for us.

Good value for the room rental. Quietand spacious room, thought a bit dated — wall paper was pealing in our room.

If you like swimming with the employees kids it's great. Sunday must be employees bring there kids to swim day. How do I know? When they were done cleaning up, they u were using all 2 tables that were available, I heard some of them say "see you next week". Did I mention they were playing with the life preserver. My 6 year old had to avoid all of the jumping into the pool and pulling each other around on the life preserver. There were 6 to 8 kids in pool. Empty pizza boxes and Gatorade bottles all over the place. Also first Best Western continental breakfast I ever been to that is over at 9:30. Went down to grab a bite for myself and my son and the door was locked and the office entrance was blocked off. Thank goodness Gilroy Gardens saved the weekend trip.

Staff broke in to my room and stole my purse with 3000 that I had to pay the room but as I checked in theytell me that they don't accept cash and so I come outside and my car is gone this morning and I can't review the surveillance tapes till 5 o'clock p. M.

It was probably pretty good for a hotel in Gilroy but I wouldn't normally stay here. We came to Gilroy for a wedding so it was just for the night. The bed worked and there was a good restaurant in the parking lot. We had a little balcony but the roof sloped down and it just had a slot of freedom. It felt more like a bunker.

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was great! Had everything my son and I needed for a week. Definitely where I will stay every time I am in the area.

Good rooms and food. There were 18 of us on a bike run. We stay at BW most of the time. This was a good one. A little more $$ than sum we stay at. Will stay there again.

We were staying at this hotel for one night because it was chosen as the place to stay for a wedding we were in. The bride and groom had set up (paid for) a shuttle service that was to take guest to and from the reception. I had called twice prior to staying, once to make the reservation months in advance and a second time to add another persons name to the room for checkin. Both time I asked if I needed to put a card on the room for holding and was told NO. Issue — When my significant other checked in the woman (SANDY) was extremely rude saying it was not under his name and that there was no card on the room so she should have given away his reservation. Issue — After the wedding had ended 10:45pm we attempted to get on the shuttle back to the hotel. Unfortunately it was full and not wanting to squeeze 6 extra people in the van the driver said to us, “I will be back for another pick up”. After 30 mins of waiting the driver had still not returned so we called the hotel. The woman (Amelia) who continued to put us on hold told us that the driver had already done 2 pick ups and had extended the time the contact stated to pick up guests. We told her regardless of the contact the drive said he would be back for us and knowing the Bride & Groom had paid until midnight for the shuttle we were frustrated. Issue — When we finally arrived back at the hotel by finding our own way back we went to the front desk.

It stunk like garlic as soon as we opened the door to our room. It turned my stomach. My husband called the reception desk and asked if they had lysol or something to get rid of the smell. The lady said she would call him back. 5 minutes later she calls and says he can pick up the lysol at the front desk and when he was done he had to take it back. I was so upset but too sick from the long ride we just had that I didn't even want to bother with them. So I ended up sinking my face in a pillow to go to sleep. We were 4. My husband, my two toddlers and my self. And only 3 towels to shower. I expected more from this place but I guess I got a bad experience compared to the other reviews. The breakfast was the only good thing.

This was the first hotel within 30 miles of my office in San Jose with availability and was under $200. The front desk staff were nice and check-in was quick and easy. I stayed in room 334, which is a king suite. The room was very clean but will be in need of updating within the next few years. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom sink looks to be relatively new and is nice and spacious. You have to hold the handle down until the toilet completely flushes. The tub/shower was clean but had an extremely large shower head. So large, in fact, that you can't adjust the angle down at all. The water sprays straight into the back of the tub. The balcony is a nice touch. Unfortunately it was storming and chilly during my stay so I only enjoyed it for a few minutes. I didn't turn the TV on so I can't comment on that. The mini fridge worked fine. Breakfast was really good (eggs, ham, heated English muffins). If that doesn't do it for ya, a Black Bear Restaurant is across the parking lot with decent food. Overall, I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area. It's right off the highway (pretty congested at all times) and right by plenty of restaurants and shopping. However, if internet is required, do not choose room 334 — it was beyond unacceptable. EDIT: the room had 2 queen beds, not a king. Changing hotels nightly gets confusing sometimes.

My husband and I stayed there on 5-21-14. The room was great but we weren't told that there would be a hot breakfast served in the morning. My husband even went down to the lobby in the morning (8:30am) for coffee and inquired about food and he still wasn't told about the hot breakfast. Needless to say we had to get breakfast across the parking lot before we left Gilroy and we were not happy. We haven't traveled much lately and didn't realize the "Plus" stands for something at your Inn that we did not receive and should have.

Its an awesome place I liked being there.

The hotel was everything the reviews said it would be — excellent hotel! Upgrade to a suite for an even better stay for a small fee. I really liked the fireplace and breakfast in the morning was nice. Just a couple blocks from the Gilroy Outets with plenty of places to eat, including a restaurant right out our hotel room.
