Love the historic atmosphere & great concierge! Awesome location!

It is very close to activities. McD is now open across the street. Took advantage of LYFT and pizza delivery. Thai food close by. Facility is clean, staff friendly. Still a little pushy on sales but no is still no after their 3rd try! We would definitely stay here again.

$30 a car/day valet parking is not acceptable to me.

I love going to this hotel! It’s only a little over a mile to Balboa Park.

No restaurant inside. You need a car but then the parking is limited and you pay $30 a day. Also in the hotel you pay Wi-Fi.

Good location, older building but nicely redone. Staff friendly and helpful, but stand your ground on sales presentation. They try.

The room was absolutely amazing. And the customer service was fantastic. My only issue was that the parking was valet only and $30 a night. I feel like that should have been just a bit more obvious before booking. I knew I would need to pay for parking, but maybe I am just inexperienced in parking pricing.

I have been coming to this WorldMark location since I was a kid. It's extremely close to everything downtown and has great rooms. The only gripe is parking is now $30 a night but it's valet and convenient from having to park on the street or in a parking garage that you'd have to walk to. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The location is not the best, it's surrounded by homeless people, and they do not offer free parking, you have to pay $30 per night which is ridiculous. Your only other option is to park on the street and pay the meter, and make sure you read the signs or you'll get a ticket. The other thing I do not like is that they will offer to help pay for your parking only if you go to a seminar, um no thanks! I'm here to try and enjoy my vacation not to be bothered by staff to buy more credits! Anyway the rooms are nice that's the only thing I really liked. Would I come back here again, No!

Such a perfect place to stay! We we're here for SDCC and it was absolutely wonderful. Easy transportation to and from the con if you don't want to walk. It is walkable! Tons of restaurants and close enough that it's convenient to get to the con but far enough that it's quiet.

Not what I expected from a resort but the room was very clean and the staff was exceptionally nice. I think the process for obtaining clean towels should be reviewed as well as additional options for house cleaning for extended stays.

Had a great stay here. The promotions team was a bit pushy but other than that. Its a big thumbs up from lost river gold!

Expensive to park. Nice old building. Elevator is noisy and a little scary. As usual everyone was very nice.

Downtown San Diego, a older style hotel but comfortable (be prepared to pay a $30.00 valet parking fee) or find a parking spot on the street… Good luck with that one! The setting on the roof top is gorgeous and worth the price of admission alone.

Great rooms with extra space. The bathroom sink area was fine and usable, just not my favorite part of the place. Neat location where you can get to everything!

Be very careful homeless everywhere didn’t feel safe at all, had to ring reception when checking car from fourth floor room, in valet car park to find homeless drug addict trying to break into it! We paid $30.00 for valet car parking! Not happy

Totally disheartened by timeshare experience!

Located in downtown San Diego. Very close to the Zoo & Balboa park, the airport is also a very short Uber drive. They have what is called "The Free Ride" you download the app request a ride in the downtown area all for FREE! This was a double bonus. The hotel is nice an very clean if you have children there is no pool so you will need to hit up the beach.

Super clean, super comfy place to relax and play. BEAUTIFUL accommodations and extremely sweet staff. Parking situation was silly, but didn't take away from my awesome stay.

Very nice Boutique Hotel close to downtown and Balboa Park. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Small kitchen but more than adequate. My only complaint and it is a minor one is the TV and couch ate perpendicular to one another making it a strain to watch. Not a big deal since we were out and about most of the time. This was formerly the Riviera Apartments and in parts if the building you can still see some of the original structure and accessories. Very nice.

Great place to visit. Lots of museums, historical buildings, restaurants. You can buy a season pass to visit all the different museums and buildings. Accessible by city bus.

First time staying with WorldMark. It was a gift from my father for our honeymoon. The rooms themselves feel newer and updated. Love the kitchenette; made cooking dinner in a breeze. Immediately blocks are not the greatest area, but it's less than half a mile to Gaslamp and Balboa Park so location didn't bother us. Docked a star for two reasons. $30/day for valet parking, which is just an uncovered parking lot in front of the hotel. And two because they continue to call/leave invites to attend their timeshare pitch. Overall, would probably return again at right price.

The room is nice but there is an odor in the hall. It does not go into the room which is good. The service is good but the Timeshare pitch is very pushy.

Convenient location overall. If you don't like city noises, it's not the best place to stay. View is so so, but the room was very nice and surprisingly spacious.

Rooms are a bit on the small side but cozy, quaint and classy. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, quiet, great sleep.

Staff was very friendly. The downside to this location is the parking. If you can’t find street parking they charge you $30 a night to park your car. I think it’s a little too much considering we are platinum owners! This location does not have a pool either it’s pretty small compared to some of the others I stayed at. It did the job for what I needed to be there for but most likely wouldn’t stay there again.

Worldmark charged us $4, 000 to "try" one of their resorts. We picked San Diego, Balboa Park. This dump is in the middle of a ghetto littered with homeless bums, and filth. Worldmark is a ripoff, and I am sending this out as a cautionary tale hoping to save others from making the mistake we did. If it says Worldmark. Run!

Very, very well done. 2 bd. Anyway. Resort is historically significant. Does lack any outdoor amenities however park is across street.

I went to eat thwre with my family it was amazig the good was great and the service was amazing too.

It could've been better but it had nice big rooms and wierdly bit nice had a TV in very room.

Balboa park, the hotel was beautiful, rustic and the balcony views were breathtaking. The staff on the other hand has a bit to learn, customer service was certainly lacking, without going into much detail, let's just say that my green money was welcome there but muy brown skin not so much. A little disappointing in this day and age but clearly these kids need to learn a little bit more about tending to customers, put your I phone down and talk to me, answer my questions and pretend like u r interested in helping me and not that I'm bothering u. Eddie was about the only smiling representative, took a little coaxing but finally assisted. We were the only ones checking in and the phones were certainly not ringing. 3 young boys at the service desk and none of any help. 2 young ladies at the "help" desk, sadly u 2 were also minimally helpful, one of u never put ur phone down the other was only interested in sending us 2 a presentation 2 buy more of a product that she was oh so poorly selling. Please dear be s bit more courteous with all, guests and owners alike, we are owners and u certainly didn't makes us feel welcome. Thank u as well for NOT informing us that we were there on a PARTY weekend, we certainly DIDN'T want 2 partake in that experience, I hope u SEE the sarcasm here. Finally, girl on the iPhone, I guess 2 pieces of candy were 2 much for me 2 have because u hid the bowl from plain site after I took the candy.

I think that WorldMark is a place that is more well suited for a solo traveler. I was barely there, and felt that the experience was pretty much adequate. No one went above and beyond or anything but thats because its straight forward, I suppose. 4* because I feel 5*s is reserved for outstanding memorable experiences. Tho, I didn't have a bad one.

This resort knows how to make their guests feel at home! Recommend you to visit it… close to many beaches, parks, etc. Will be back Thank you Worldmark, San Diego for a wonderful experience.

This place was incredible and the employees were AMAZING! We got the corner room which was a little noisy but other then that is was Beautiful! No parking but was easy to find free street parking, we never had to park to far way.

Location was great since it was close to Balboa Park. One small elevator. Feels outdated. Great studio room.

The staff here are the absolute best! I can't say enough good things from the valet to reception to the rewards ladies! The rooms are so nice and the Art Deco style is super fun. The views are great from the room! We absolutely loved having the rooftop terrace to hang out at night with cocktails and grilling food. Such a great vibe and atmosphere. This has been a great vacation!
I read ahead about the parking and factored that into my budget so I don't fault Worldmark for that, I've seen complaints about it but when booking it was clear that valet parking is $30/night. I liked not having to worry about parking my car!

This is a great location with great amenities, customer service and cleanliness standards. We've stayed here a couple times and our experience has always been positive.

A perfect place for any vacationer. Valet parking, friendly staff, great view at the roof, close to the Gaslamp District, and the ocean is right down the road! Great attractions surrounding this location, and the rooms themselves… they've definitely made a huge upgrade. Great job!

Great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. The resort was remodeled and the rooms are beautiful Our studio was equipped with everything needed.

Great hotel in a terrible area. The hotel and staff were excellent for my week's stay.
The room was very clean and modern.
The bed was luxurious and hard to get out of. The kitchen fully stocked with all the
immenities of home to cook in. Would love to stay here again but doubtful it will ever happen. Two issues that make a return visit unlikely. The parking was one. I only paid $179 for the week for my room with my Global Discovery Vacation club. The hotel was asking $30/night for valet parking in their lot. If I had chosen to pay for valet it would have cost me $210 for the week which would have been more than my room! There is limited street parking available but a lot of that is metered after 8am so if you can find a spot there will be no sleeping in as you will have to go down and feed the parking meter. Mon-Sat 8am 6pm. Also some of the street parking is only available on certain nights for street sweeping between 3am and 5am. Very stressful every night coming back to the hotel hoping to find a place to park. My days were cut short with my visits with my family because I had to try to get back to the hotel early to obtain street parking and avoid paying the $30/night valet. I was told kind of matter of factly by the valet that that rate was cheap for the area. While possibly true it seemed insulting with free parking (when) available around the hotel.
