This location was perfect! Right near the mall, close to Cannery row and right off the 1, plus the staff and the service was great! Ray or Ramesh was very nice and friendly, we were here for anniversary trip and had a great time. I give this small hotel 5 stars not because it was a 5 store hotel but because the service and the cleanliness were on point and the room was comfortable. I'm sure we will return.

Confortable beds for a fairly decent price, the pool want that great, right next to a highway, but better than none. If you have heavy bags there is no elevator, so you need to carry them up the stairs instead. Nothing great, nothing, bad, just a good place to get there, go to bed, wake up and leave.

Great place to stay! Nice rooms and friendly staff. Also, it’s in a good location! Only issue I had was it was noisy in the morning. But I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Monterey again!

Towels were stained. Walls are so thin you can hear the room upstairs as if they are stomping when they walk. It will wake a deep sleeper. You can even hear when everyone is walking with there luggage strolling outside on the 2nd floor. The bed isn't to great, hard to sleep on but made nicely. Plus, they had a microwave, fridge and pool. The housekeeper was friendly and attentive to our needs.

Room was great the bed super comfy 5 stars The breakfast though no stars it was for little kids cold cereal and juice and coffee lol.

Good if your here to just sleep and shower. Simple. Not a luxury hotel. Did the job. Cheap.

We had an excellent time with them during a hard time in our family's life. They provided a calm and clean place to relax while we visited my dying father.

The place was nice and clean. Slightly outdated. However the staff were extremely kind and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. We really enjoyed our stay. Will stay in the same area if we visit Monterey again.

Poor water flow cheep room. Not a place I wld do again. Noisey street heater not good. Better 2 pick a place that cateres 2 breakfast. Walls not even painted has 2 colors lights falling off wall … well not stay here again.

The motell is okey standard compare to the price. The room and bed okey. But it rained a lot and ut leaked from the ceiling. The breakfast was a joke! The worst breakfast I had seen. The good thing is that it was located close to a shopping center.

This place might be okay if you have low standards and are just looking for a place to stay for a night, but I dont think I would come back. The staff was very friendly and the bedding was clean and comfortable. However the room itself was in desperate need of help. The walls looked like there had been fist sized holes punched through in a couple places and then were poorly patched up. The baseboards were absolutely FILTHY! it looked like there was some food splattered on the wall next to the bed and never cleaned up, and worst of all, the plug outlet for the heater/AC was pretty much hanging off the wall with exposed wiring that any child could easily get a hold of. Many of those problems could easily be fixed but if theyre going to let their rooms go into despair like that then id rather go somewhere else.

This place is comfortable, cozy, and clean. Plus very easy to get to many of the sites from this hotel. Plus very friendly staff. Also a shopping center is walking distance from the hotel.

We stayed in a King Bed room for 2 nights. Hotel was immaculately clean! Both nights were very quiet and could not hear any street traffic or neighbors. The bed and pillows were so super comfortable and cozy! Heater worked awesome! Staff was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Reasonably priced, but sort of noisy. Nothing fancy (very basic "continental" breakfast and rooms need upgrading) nice people, good parking, and it's close to major areas/10 min. From Cannery Row, 5 min. From freeway.

We had a lot of issues before we got here with them saying I made 2 reservations, and had to cancel one through the website, only 1 booking showed on my end, made 4 phone calls, spent over an hour calling booking agency and hotel, day of reservation, still telling me I have 2 rooms. On check-in, they agree to only 1 room. The room and bath areas are spacious, clean in appearance and clean smell… We do have a rocking toilet, but overall room is good value for money. A little noisy due to its busy location, don't depend on the breakfast to start your day, but Wi-Fi, cleanliness and value win the day…

Room clean bed comfortable however walls paper thin you could hear everything from rooms above and next door. They say continental breakfast I say have breakfast elsewhere no room to eat breakfast plastic plates knives and forks. Receptionist not very helpful.

I gotta give this place the three C's of quality. Convenient, comfortable and clean. Not of the utmost luxurious and expensive but its more than worth it. The tenants are very kind and service is excellent. Towels and bed smell fresh of clean linen place is clean to a T! Love it. Id be back. I ♡ Monterey.

This motel is well maintained both outside and inside, and the room was very clean. Very good value for money for this area!

As motel goes it's fine. We stayed overnight before when visiting the Aquarium. Reasonably priced, good value, friendly. Help yourself breakfast at reception, cereals, pastries, coffee etc.

Aside from light switches which were hard to find, the experience was fine for my 3 roommates and I for a night. They also have breakfast, but I cannot speak to its quality.

Good place, with a good breakfast. Near Del Monte Shopping Center. Beautiful flowers in the garden.

Staff are lovely and try to help you in any way possible. Rooms clean and hot showers.

Smelly room like incense got stucked to my sweater. The sheets smells so bad. The carpet is sooo… Dirty. Smells like dog pee. Even the bathroom towels have a certain smell. I had to spray Lysol to the entire room but that distinctive smell is so strong — it's like going to a public restroom. For almost $200/ night this place is not worth it. I went to the breakfast nook in the morning and wanted to eat oatmeal — no microwave — the front desk person said it's instant, just hot water needed. At the same time I was there, there was a lady who came in and checked out at 8:30am… She complained about the room, the price and particularly the bathroom had molds. I had an early check out too. Please Charge accordingly. And please do something about the scent, the bathroom, carpet, Etccc… I didn't get my money's worth.

Indian guy on the desk was rude. He could be the owner — who knows. I arrived 30 min earlier and he made a big deal about it. Like 'you are too early'. Next, he was trying to pull a fast one by saying I booked 2 rooms. Good thing I printed it out — which he refuses to even look at. I have flown all over and I have been allowed to check in earlier by other hotels. Not this one — he is an a**hole. Next. This place is made of wood. So we're given the first floor and you can hear all the walking upstairs and you will not be able to sleep. I don't mind it dated, it is clean and spacious. That is good enough for me and it's in front if the strip mall where you can eat and shop and has a gasoline station close by. But if you can't sleep, this place is useless. Wyndham, you can do better that this! Everyone, do yourself a favor, there is a Holiday Inn Express on Highway 1 close by. It looks like it is sturdily built and is all concrete. Book a hotel in there and not with this wooden box.

Great people great place to stay really clean.

I guess you can say you get what you pay for. Seems like the cheapest one here, honestly to start with the Wi-Fi will only work for 15 seconds then goes off for a minute and goes back on for 10 seconds. You can't do much if you bring your laptop or anything with Wi-Fi. Big issue for me is the parking lot, I have a work truck that its long but not as long, and its hard to park in such small parking lot, (have to double park). Lastly I can say they do have good service but doesn't match the cons,

This is an affordable, clean option for a place to stay in the area. It was well updated and I would stay here again. It was inconvenient, however, that the price goes up so much on the weekends and that the included breakfast is pretty limited.

Giving 2 stars because it smelt clean. But granite tile looked like it was wet, and NO MINI FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE. Come on really. To top it off being on the bottom floor, you can hear your neighbors on top of you like they are going to come through the ceiling. Will never stay here again. My hubby and I usually stay in another hotel that was booked as this was a spur of the moment trip. Next time we won't chance it stay where we like. :/

Good location, good rooms, and good service.

Not terrible, but not great. A good place to rest for the night, but would not recommend for many nights. The bed rattled, the bathtub facut was missing, and the carpet felt dirty. Breakfast was really bad and the pool was closed (but it was 35 degrees outside so that was ok lol). Nothing glaringly bad, and even the front desk guy was nice. Just don't expect much.

Do not trust these people. I booked a reservation for this week last winter. Last month, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and they would not cancel the reservation. In addition to this, my wife called the manager and they reached a settle ment in which we would only pay one night. (It is better than nothing) They never delivered on this either. Tried to call corporate but, that is just a recording that the number has been disconnected. I hope that they went out of business because they completely deserve this. Called customer service and the rep on the phone told me that their policy manual says that it is ok to lie to customers!

Nothing fancy but gets the job down and affordable. Great location, easy to get to and the grounds are well kept. Free Wi-Fi which was pretty fast and a good selection of TV channels. I think the owners works on site so the service was friendly and competent. If you need a place to sleep for the night the Knights Inn will get the job done.

After staying at another budget hotel in town, I can say I am upset I didn't find this place sooner. At about the same rate as other affordable chain hotels, Knights Inn is less than 500 feet from Del Monte center with lots of food, shopping and my personal favorite, Whole Foods. With the small upgrade charge to have a mircowave and fridge, buying groceries was a cheap option to eat during my weekend visit. Breakfast is offered by the hotel of good coffee and pastries and cereal. While it's not a huge breakfast, it will get you by until lunch if you aren't picky. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds, and a spacious sink area. Plus, the TV had many, many channels to chose from. The owners of Knights Inn were incredibly pleasant, kind, and helpful to us. They let us check in early, offered restaurant recommendations, and held our bags between checkout time and when we had to leave. I will absolutely return to Knights Inn the next time I'm in Monterey and would recommend it for anyone interested in nice accommodations at a great rate!
