Bear Creek Inn Hotel

The inn has a guest house and many extra bedrooms for guests. The guest house that we stayed in has one bedroom and comes with a kitchen, bathroom, and guest bed in the sofa in the living room. There are complimentary Wi-Fi and printing services. The area is quiet and tidy, and the owner made breakfast the following morning.

Such a charming place! Jill is so friendly and attentive. She makes you feel like family. The breakfast in the morning was my favorite part-being able to meet new people and share stories during breakfast was awesome! This is the only place I will stay next time I’m in the area!

Last night we celebrated our 50th High School reunion at the Bear Creek Inn. Over 200 were in attendance. The venue was perfect for a dinner/dance outdoors with a live band — social hour in the back yard and then dinner and dancing in the front. The beautiful mansion created a stunning backdrop for the evening. Bear Creek Inn staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. (Posted by Curtis Riggs).

I had a wedding gig here last sunday September 3rd and everything was perfect, Jill has a excellent customer service and explain us everything we need to know in order to setup our equipment. Thank You very much Jill!

I believe in the importance of a constructive review, even if it's a negative one. There is no point in me getting upset — even if I couldn't sleep all night — and all I want it to suggest changes, even minor ones, that sometimes can dramatically improve the overall experience. 1. There are dead-end locked doors in both the bedroom and the bathroom, which both lead to another guest room. It'd be so simple to put a sign on them to tell us what is part of our room and what is not. Much better than having me trying to open doors that are directly facing either another bedroom or a bathroom, ending up disturbing someone else's privacy. 2. Noise: from the full shower of my neighbor guest, to the entrance door, to the breakfast voices and noises to literally anything, I can hear it all (unless if you are in the separate guest house, where you would still hear the train). It adds up also the train that passes every 10/15 minutes all night long. Maybe doubling the locked doors can be enough, and maybe new window frames or double glass will help cut off at least the train which is not going to change its course for the better sleep of the guests. 3. Cooling/heating: they use a very neat, new Nest system. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Not the system itself, but the method. It's central and you can change it from the main corridor outside the rooms. If you're hot and the guest next to you is cold, one of the two is going to suffer.

It's the most beautiful peaceful place. My husband and I enjoyed our wedding night in the cottage. I highly recommend this inn.

Beautiful grounds. It is an idyllic spot with an antebellum style architecture.

Loved the ambiance. Our event was outdoors but altogether it was a good experience. Also lots of nice areas for pictures too.

We were very blessed to have a women's tea there. The food was excellent! The staff was great. Jill and Cheryl did wonderful job in puttin everything together for us and their hospitality went above and beyond. We loved it!

This has got to be the most casual, laid back B&B we've ever stayed at. When you book a room, be sure you give them a close approximate time of when you will arrive. If it's after normal check-in time there might not be anyone there. But, if you coordinate with them, they will meet you there, show you around, give you key, and you're then pretty much on your own until the next morning. There are only a few rooms here, and the house itself and the property are very quiet and relaxing. In the morning you'll be greeting with fresh coffee, juices, and a nice breakfast. All in all, a very nice stay at a reasonable price.

Bear Creek Inn has an amazing staff. I had my reception here and my guest where so impressed but the grounds. The staff really take pride in every part of this Inn. Jessica helped me through all the planning and coordinating of my vendors before, during, and after my reception. The rooms are gorgeous with all the vintage charm. I can't wait to visit again!
