Clean room and friendly guest service.

The room’s TV was not operating correctly. The TV kept going into the store demo mode by itself making it unable to use it and the front desk said that there was nothing that could be done and a technician had to be called in to fix it. No other alternative was offered because a large bus party arrived. The rooms were very small and cramped. The tub had mold in the chaulking. I will definitely choose to spend my money elsewhere the next time I’m in town.

U can't say hotel it's camp. Plus they say they have breakfast and the surprise the breakfast coffee + tea +kind of horrible cake.

11/15/2017 My boyfriend and I are truck drivers and we wanted to get out of our truck for a night so we stayed here. We don't know the area good so we chose this place. It's the 2ed worst place we've ever stayed at. Bad neighborhood, not the cleanest place I've ever seen, if you have a pet then your room won't have a refrigerator or a microwave or if you smoke you won't have those either. You will get a out of date run down yukky room. I no ashtray in the smoking room no 1 towel and wash cloth for a 2 person room, druggies surround the building at night. Room was also musty and smelly, had a 1970 TV and I will not be back.

Decent accommodation for reasonable price. Old and a bit worn out as you would expect. Breakfast is really modest with just prepacked pastries and coffee & juice machines. Friendly service.

Great hotel, great friendly staff, clean room, used to be a old motel6 back in the day so that what the rooms look like. Lots of fast food and gas staions near by and close to the freeway. They really clean this place up from years ago!

Room OK. Faucet really annoying, as this squirts so that it is difficult to wash normally without having to put the entire washboard under water. The shower squeaks. Reception staff was quite overwhelmed and also not really friendly. But as a stay for a night is quite sufficient.

Mediocre rooms. Convenient location to some food options. Fairly clean as far as I know. Cheap stay for working on the road.

Stayed here 2 nights. Worst hotel experience ever! No bfast. They only provide 2 towels (not enough for family of 4). Had no microwave or fridge in the rooms so mcdonalds across the street was convenient. Customer service is awful. Understaffed and rude! The room quality was ok for the price but disgusting bathrooms. Never going again! — — I get its low end for the price BUT theh could atleast maintain a clean and friendly envioment!

Was decent. Didn't stay cause of low availability of rooms. But not for lack of trying. Reasonable prices.

Your lodge motel is a wonderful retreat for the business and family traveler. Charming and friendly. Merced has it's charm with the centralized planning and archatecture. You are a part of that charm. Joe Brown.

I have to say that I was a little skeptical when I booked my room. However, I was very impressed with the room and the price. Very clean, neat and well maintained. The only negative is that the carpet could be deep cleaned or replaced. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The maintenance gentleman was ensuring that people that did not belong on the property were removed promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Rooms are smelly and dirty, breakfast is only snack pastries. Staff is very unfriendly. We were a large party of 4 families booked into 4 rooms for the night. Few minutes after checkout, we got a courtesy call that they were charging us for missing towels. They were apparently missing one towel from each room. We checked with all families and confirmed that no one had mistakenly taken it however, they would not budge. They were looking to make a few (dishonest) bucks. Even if the prices are dirt cheap, I would not recommend this place to anyone because they are looking to make up the money by cheating and falsely accusing their customers.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The outside and the grounds are clean and swept. I liked that I saw surveillance cameras all over the property. My room was nice, clean and quiet. This place is a nice find!

Modest but clean and practical.

Really uncomfortable setting rooms not clean staff unfriendly.

Rooms are nice just really need better smoking areas.

Nasty smell nasty floor nasty walls air and heat barly work and when it does it smells and there is a big hole behind the heater this is nastyand they wanna charge deposit for what.

Was amazing. Spend my week with my love and it was awesome… great hotel.

When we first walked in the room had a stench of some kind of animal urine/spray, then we tried to air the room out by turning on the A/C, but it didnt work, I called the front desk for some kind of assistance, the clerk by the name of Christine, was very sarcastic, I tried calling bt she wouldnt answer my calls, when I walked up to the front desk there was a "Do Not Disturb"sign hung on the window. Then she rudely asked "Who r u & where is the guy that checked in? ", I then told her I am his wife, she then said she would only talk to him since he is the one that checked in. So I returned back to my room128, & told my husband what she had said, he tried calling the front desk, bt no answer. I then found out where the smell was coming from, I steped in a big wet puddle between the two beds I dnt know what it was nor do I care,. I was so disgusted. I cant believe that the vagabond requires a $50 deposit. The only reason we stayed the night was cause it was late & all other motels had no vacancies.

Manager was incredibly rude and unaccomodating when I didn't have $50 cash deposit for amenities? Didnt know it was required, and didn't have any ammenities in room including shampoo or conditioner. Hotel is still holding my $1 deposit he was required to keep to have my credit card information.

The rooms are basic, but extremely clean and has everything you need! Not too far from the main stuff in Merced. Free Wifi is a plus, and its fast! Had a bad hotel experience in Sacramento, and coming to this one just made me feel good again.
