After good experience with Motel 6 in Green River, here we were disappointed. At check-in the staff member lady requested much more money that it was marked on the booking confirmation paper. Fortunately I printed it before. After 20 minutes manipulation on the computer she accepted the booked price. After the payment in cash she asked 40$ deposit. Why? At the check-out when I returned the door card, the staff said thanx and bye. And the deposit, please — I said. Fortunately I did not forget it. By the way it is easy to find this motel. Simple room with fridge, clean. There is a Smart & Final supermarket at 5 minutes drive with good prices to buy foods, fruits and drinks. The motel offers a free morning coffee, which is really kind.

The location is good because it is by downtown, Costco, Walmart, and freeways. A nice handicapped accessible pool, small location, but a few random people coming in and out. This motel 6 has older decor, but it got the job done. Beds were comfortable. AC was cold. Easy to park and get to the rooms. I would pay a little more to stay at a newer motel. 6 location.

The front desk ladies are just fantastic. Very willing to answer any questions and do as much as they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I left my pillow here twice and still was able to retrieve it when I came back. I would recommend this motel to all of my friends staying in the Merced area!

Very pleasant front staff at check-in. Clean room. Convenient location.

The staff was really friendly but the room itself was very disappointing. The bed sheets were very stained and had a foul odor on them. Towels were very stiff and also smelled of mildew. Rate was the cheapest around the area but I've paid cheaper and the hotel room was much more clean!

Kevin was the first staff person we methe was very kind and professional as our stay continued everyone and everything has been a plesurable visit We will return here definitely and To All Management and Staff THANK YOU SOOO MUCH Jo Ann Lokollo.

Overall a pleasant stay. Laundry machines are broken. Doorknob was very loose. It also has a hard turn-in. You must go in at the Carl’s Jr.

I enjoyed my stay but the second day I didn't have a wash cloth so I went to the office. Then the next day the towels were left on top of the fridge and no wash cloth. Other than that it was okay.

We generally love Motel6, but this is the worst experience ever. One star because they were able to give us a bottom floor room. 4 stars lost because of: dirty floors (towel turned black after I wiped up a little spilled water), unrepaired torn floor tile, air conditioner/heater unit had filthy louvers which were partially broken, one of the 2 beds had black smudges on the bottom sheet. Because of the dirty A/C we could not use it, for fear or breathing in all that dirt. Could not open windows (see below re freeway). NO place anywhere near beds to plug in phones to recharge. One issue really bad: exposed electrical wires at A/C unit plug-in. If anyone stays in that room and touches those wires while their feet are wet — they will either die or be seriously injured. Hoping the hotel will fix this sometime soon. They gave us room 136 ON the freeway — big rigs going by literally SHOOK our room all night. We were NOT informed of this when checking in or when originally making reservation. We did call to complain about the room and to ask for the internet password. There was NO "I'm sorry. " Once we were ready for bed, we requested internet password and were told it was $3.99 extra. Since we complained about dirty room, they generously gave it to us free, but we had to get DRESSED and walk to the front of the hotel to get the password — just a series of numbers, which they could easily have given to us over the phone, but inexplicably refused to do.

Good bed, extra pillows provided on request. Close to the RR tracks but we got through the night without disturbance. TV wasn't working, staff fixed it immediately.

The water pressure was terrible in both the sink and shower. The toilets could definitely use an upgrade. However, the room was nice and modern, and the motel had great customer service.

The beds were a little to soft for us and for some reason both rooms were supposed to be non-smoking but it smelled like smoking a lot.

Location felt ghetto, rooms were clean enough but the toilets were small mouth types. No soap, toothpaste or toiletries in room or hairdryer, only on requests.

The location was easy to find right off the freeway, we even had an ashtray with free cigarettes butts! Staff was helpful when it came time for check out or when they weren't busy eye humping my old lady. I would do it all over again. Quick shout out to J-diggs (neighborhood d boy) for the hook up on the fireass Crystal. Been up for days BABY!

It was a clean room, the young woman who signed me in was courteous and very informative. I did notice the "walls were pretty thin" you could hear everything going on in the next room and the TV time kept turning the TV off after an hour or so and couldn't get it to stop.

Remodeled motel nice. Friendly staff. They do require a 40.00 Deposit you will get that back when checking out.

The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the shower head was broken and got water all over the floor. The buy one get one free internet code would have been amazing, had the internet worked at all. Overall, it was an okay stay for just the one night.

Found bed bugs and then I reported it to the attendant. Gave me a refund at 4:30am. Couldn't find another place to check-in. Call them back and asked if they would just give me another room. I was told no because I broke a lamp. Really a lie like that wasn't even that necessary for them to tell. It's a nasty, prostitute infested, bed bug infested mess. So now I hope y'all like the truthful review…

Great place to stay in staff good service in people would stay there again not bad on price and write-off the freeway.

Nice for a Motel 6. Great staff. The “suite” was a large room. This motel is pet friendly and does not require an additional fee for pets.

I was trying to negotiate a rate for a 2nd night with the manager explaining I just lost my mom on the second of October of this month. With the costs money was tight and do the take AAA or offer any discount? I was interrupted by a stranger anger scolded for asking? The manager affirmed the stranger and had a attitude towards me? I told the young man to not get in my affairs and was threatened to not receive enough my second night? motel 6 is not anything like times of old. This location is not friendly to all cultures, is bias, and resents asking for available discounts. Can't expect much in the central Ca area try Travel Lodge.

They're all the same. Inexpensive place to sleep this one was a little bit more old-school than the others. Needed updated. Water sprinkles out of the shower like you're getting blessed by the Pope. Cost $67.00

Booking and reservations at this Motel 6 are very well organized & they seem to have everything together. Stuff works. Wifi is robust.

Such a tiny room to squeeze 2 double beds in! Noisy trains in the night. I requested a quiet room, but upon arrival, I see that the interior court/pool area would have been quieter!

Very friendly staff and comfortable room. We had lost a wallet and even tough we had all ready checked out the staff let us check the room twice to try and find it. We found it when we got home and I called and them know.

Room was clean and no one was seen doing drugs in the parking lot. Most of the lights in the room did not work so we told the manager. The maintenance guy came up to our room within 5 minutes. Although he gave us a sermon on the power of Jesus Christ, he was also able to get the lights working. Overall, would stay again.

Many motels in this area. Stay here as a LAST RESORT. For such a big chain, it has little in the way of amenities. There is a mini fridge, but that's it. No coffee maker, microwave, or iron/ironing board. Tv has dish, but only 24 channels. None of the major news stations, or other popular programs. A plus, is there are outlets next to the bed for convenience of charging devices. Room was clean. Like I said, stay as a last resort, unless you are on a tight budget.

The room is small and the walls are thin. Also there's a train tracks close by. But other than that is fine.

Location is a bit obscured. It is located behind a Carl's Jr establishment and late at night one of the entrances is chained off forcing all car traffic to one side. At first glance the room looks modern but still had a few shortcomings. My room, in particular, was missing towels and pillow cases for one of the twin beds. Also, after removing the top sheet (Which I do at all hotels and highly recommend) I discovered the next sheet to have cigarette burns in it. Probably won't stay there again if I had to, but all in all I have seen worse so if you're not picky then it should do fine. One advantage is a coin operated washer and dryer on site. Lastly, the Wi-Fi required a prepaid card for access (tried a credit card and did not accept), luckily my phone signal was strong (Sprint) so I did not need to purchase the Wi-Fi.

Didn't get the room we ordered. A tiny double in a cramped, noisy room instead of the "Queen Suite" we reserved on Priceline.

I have to give a 4 stars to this facility due to the friendly and honest staff there. It was just a stop in the road for me, I need it a place to sleep and continue with my trip. Room was small, I have to say I saw many Motel 6 in better shape, but the most important thing for me, it was clean. And the stuff there I have to say very honest. I forgot my wallet and when I came back several hours later, there it was. Nothing missing. Thanks.!

The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are clean. I like the fact there are no more carpets. The problem is the hundreds of birds that hang out on the property. There's bird poop all over the property. I couldn't park vehicle in the lot. Security needs to be updated at this property. I saw a drug deal happen right before me. There was also two guys hanging out in a car in the parking lot. There was a party going on in one of the rooms right next to me until 3 AM. All this should not be tolerated by management.

Overall pretty good nice rooms. You can tell its been renovated and overall it looks modern and nice I give it a 5 star.

This is one of the worst places I've ever stayed! Staff can't program room key cards, they refuse to give you extra towels, toilet paper, etc. They charge for Wi-Fi and it wasn't even operating, the pool seems to always be closed, their prices seem to vary on what the desk clerk wants to charge you, they don't take any discounted coupons, they don't offer truckers, veterans or students any discounts at all and the housekeepers are just rude as can be and don't speak English. The parking lot was disgusting and littered with broken glass and I had to pick up the broken glass myself (beer bottles) and noisy guests are allowed to be noisy (staff does nothing) NO cups for coffee, which was about as strong as weak tea, NO continental breakfast, but was advertised and the towels and linens were like sandpaper.
