You get what you pay for but this was a step up from many of the other local motels, we had all the channels, a mini fridge, a shower, complimentary breakfast that we skipped in favor of Denny's which is a three minute walk away. Things that were a minus I got a bar of soap and no shampoos and a quarter roll of TP and no back up while my friends rooms had soaps shampoos conditioners full rolls of TP… Our Rooms smelt like bad air freshener and bug spray when we arrived. Otherwise seemed clean and was much better after we let our rooms air out.

One star because it was fairly cheap for being a holiday weekend & there was a roof! Everything worked (lights, t. V. Etc) and the location was close to downtown. That's about all I can say positive though. The bed was awful. If it were clean, I would have just slept on the floor. Mattress is probably just as hard. Literally no give. Shower was either boiling hot or cold. Overall it was sort of clean. Well, realistically it smelled like cleaner… not exactly the same as being clean… I think next time we will just go camp in our tent instead.

Pros: * The property is located within walking distance to Glass Beach and everything downtown. It’s on the main road in Fort Bragg. * Not expensive Cons: * The room was not cleaned properly. There was m&m’s and a sprite bottle under the bed from whoever stayed before us. * The bathroom floors and walls weren’t clean. * The free Wi-Fi they offer for guests doesn’t work. * The blankets on the bed were really thin. * There wasn’t enough towels in the room.

Ok, so, if you want a place that is cheap for the night, this is a good place to stay. The front desk guy was great. Everything was easy and simple. Nothing particularly special to say. It's more like a place to store your bags and sleep. Not a place you want to just hangout for the day. Definitely clean!

Typical motel. Thin walls. Not upscale at all. Pretty clean at least. The outdoor cameras that should be facing the parking lot are all facing straight down making it a bit nerve racking to park.

Cozy and friendly place… room 8 doesn't have Wi-Fi coverage. Bed needs to be replaced…

The Wi-Fi was bad, rooms were from the 1980s. You get what you pay for…

The inn was very cute inside and out. Decor inside might be considered a bit dated. The couple who run it were wonderful. If you haven't been out to Fort Bragg before, they can likely make recommendations on things to do and places to go.

Very nice motel, close to the glass beach. Make sure to get breakfast and coffee at the cafe next to the motel, cute interior and very good food! Heads-up: there is no more glass on the glass beach : (

This place was very disappointing even for a cheap motel; try to avoid. 1) mold in bathroom 2) heater is extremely loud — there's no way you are going to be able to sleep (and it's 1 feet from your bed). You are going to wake up even form the neighbor's heater turning on. 3) heater was not cleaned in ages and you will start coughing from dust when you turn on the heater 4) no soap in bathroom 5) room smelled bad on entering Staff was friendly though.

Quaint. Peaceful weekend getaway. Walking distance to glass beach and to north coast brewery. Rooms were country theme and clean. Stay included breakfast and coffee which was good as well! Worth the drive!

Such a sweet b&b. We've stayed here twice and both times were wonderful. It's a nice walk to Glass Beach. The couple who runs it is so sweet and friendly, and their breakfast is so good! The photos on their website are not up-to-date, the rooms are really very cute and charming! I highly recommend staying here.

Pretty cheap solution to sleep near Glass beach. The room was very clean. Breakfast with toast, yogurt, fruit and cereals inside the reception. Wi-Fi OK.

Great location off of Main St, very fun and polite owners, the rooms are nice and well maintained, the service is phenomenal, and the food was amazing. I'm definitely coming back to stay here again.

Such a lovely place to stay. The house is beautiful, the rooms are big and very clean. Breakfast was included and definitely the best breakfast I have ever eaten away from home. The bacon and eggs were locally sourced, the orange juice was fresh and sweet, definitely not from concentrate. Included was a bowl of the sweetest fresh fruit I have ever eaten. The owners and other guests were friendly, in fact it felt more like we were visiting distant relatives. If you like to eat well and be treated like family rather than just a customer this is definitely the place to stay. Walking distance to Glass Beach and many other great places. We will definitely be returning.

Great food, wonderful people, beautiful house.

Our stay has thus far been wonderful. We came in really late, just passed Midnight and they came right down and got us checked in after hours.

The room is really nice and so is the woman who checks you in. The beds were hard but comfortable. The breakfast is just cereal, toast and oatmeal. There's no pool. It's very close to a lot of sites. It's a good backup if your favorite hotels are booked.

I gotta say for the price, the place isn't bad. We have stayed here many times whether it's with family, or riding motorcycles with Friends. Rooms are mostly always available when the town is sold out. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

Really sensitive fire alarm system.

Bed and bathroom seemed clean. The carpet & chairs did not seem clean, the paint was worn, the walls pretty thin. We would not stay there again. Breakfast was pitiful, it is cheap price (should have been cheaper) for a reason it looks run down from the outside and inside is not much better. Staff was nice. Wi-Fi was fine in the morning or when no one was in the hotel, in the evening the speed was atrocious, additionally the TV screen had lines running through it. I don't know how anyone gave this 5 stars… The heater/air conditioner is super loud… probably pretty old.

Our room was clean minus inside the mini-fridge. There was a faint smell of bleach, so the room had been serviced recently yet there were creamer and a opened half drunken 7up FROZEN solid.

Location is very good. Short walk to downtown with many dining options and short walk to glass beach. Room is comfortable. Slight musky odor. Cold breakfast is good for kids.

We stayed here one night while visiting Glass Beach. It was a pleasant stay. Guestrooms/bathrooms can be upgraded. But for the price it was nice and clean. Breakfast was good with few different choices. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location in fort bragg, right by downtown and glass beach. Amenities are basic and standard but you get what you pay for.

The front desk clerk was very nice, but when we told them that the outside light didn't work (there's a crazy step you can't see in the dark or else it would not be a big deal) they moved us to another room instead of fixing it. Was visiting my aunt at the hospital and we had to leave to move our belongings when another room became available.

The room was just fine for one night with a fridge and microwave. Good Wi-Fi connection and within walking distance of many food options.

The host family were amazing friendly funny and charming. The house was decked in Christmas spirit (so if that's not your thing, maybe avoid the place in December). The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast made fresh not just a buffet. This is a classic quaint quirky comfy BnB.

Nice place. Clean room. Convenient location. Walls are a little thin so you do get some noise from outside, but we slept well nonetheless.

Better than Motel 6. I paid $75 total for an ok room with 2 full queen size bed. What you don't get at Motel 6 is that in the room there's a microwave, small coffee machine with roasted coffee, iron and ironing table, hair dryer, small fridge. I'm over all satisfied and this is gonna be my 1st choice over Motel 6. Wait, And Breakfast included.

The guy named Dan was so sweet and very very helpful! It's a family owned place so he said he leaves at 10 so we kinda had to hurry. The room felt wet and smelled a little musky. But other than those things it did the job. My boyfriend and I slept peacefully.

We were traveling thru with oir family of 5 and stopped in for the night. The owners of this place makes all the difference, it's not fancy but clean, new windows, the bathroom is pretty big. And the room was big enough for a cot to be added. The owner was very helpful in recommending where to eat, where to go and watch the sunset. He was so kind as to even bring us extra towels, we didnt even remember to ask. So glad we stayed here instead of the best western. Truly recommend.

They rent rooms by the month starting at $800 off season. I stayed here for two months during Christmas and the owners actually gave ME a Christmas gift. Wonderful people. Clean motel and friendly staff. Located only a few blocks from Glass Beach, this is my new home away from home.

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights recently; he was at a conference in Mendicino while I was left to my own devices during the day. The "innkeeper, " as he calls himself, couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating; he knows the whole area like the back of his hand, and obviously loves it; he set me up with two whole days of great things to do in the area, and recommended 4 or 5 restaurants. It's not in the least bit fancy but it was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was coffee and tea, packaged oatmeal, cereal and packaged danish, but there was also 3 or 4 types of fresh fruit! Best of all, it was within walking distance of pretty much everything. Including the fabulous Glass Beach.

Don, the friendly guy who checked us in gave us the info we needed to navigate and find what we wanted in town. He is a great ambassador for Fort Bragg. He even went out of his way to make sure we didn't miss any of the cool sites on our travels down the coast. Don also supplied us with clean rags to dry off the dew from our motorcycle seats and windshields. Room was spotless, and the beds were as comfortable or better than any "5 star" hotels. Thanks again Don.

We just stayed at the Travelodge this past weekend in Fort Bragg. What nice people run it. They are the brand new local owners and really made us feel welcome. What is also great about this lodge is it is walking distance to everything! Glass beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, and the historical Skunk Train. I am glad to have met the people who run this place. They helped me fall in love with the Ft. Bragg area. For a weekend getaway, this lodge is the prefect place for families, couples at a great value! Thanks.
