Traveled from Ohio to see the Redwoods stayed here on the way. Great stay, cute chickens out back and you gotta love the short legged dog. Breakfast was supurb Neat little town to visit Don't forget to stop at Glass Beach.

The room was normal for a b&b but visiting with Riley (the corgi), the chickens out back, and the other guests at breakfast was fun. We would definitely come back and recommend.

Very nice first-time experience here. We would definitely come back. The hosts were very helpful and not at all intrusive. You felt like you had your space, but could easily approach them if you needed anything at all. Breakfasts were delicious, the bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the amusement of seeing their chickens strolling around the premises. No a/c, but a decent-sized fan was provided automatically and it was cool enough at night to just open the windows and have the fan blow the refreshing sea air in. We were very comfortable. The location is great. It’s within walking distance to the Skunk Train, as well as multiple shops and good restaurants. Easy drive to the coastline and Mendocino, also. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely place! The food is divine, the rooms are adorable and the hostess is wonderful!

Rooms are clean, service is friendly and the breakfast is extremely good.

Located just a few blocks away from the downtown area of Fort Bragg. Very convenient location with easy parking in the back and out front by the street. Everyone here was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The hot tub area was the star of the place, located in a small private and outdoor area of the inn. Also, check out the chickens, are they pretty cool and provide the eggs that you eat for breakfast.

Hosts were great, served a delicious breakfast. Our stay was really nice.

Quaint and cozy. Christine is very friendly and communication was quick and easy. Rooms have a bed, nightstand and a place to sit for one or two. Decor is a bit outdated, but adds to the charm. Great breakfast, but you have to be on-time!

I just booked a stay, messed up the reservation, called, and had the EASIEST time fixing it. It took me 30 seconds no problems! I am so so so happy!

Lovely, cosy english-style design. The chicken, dog and homemade cookies add a domestic atmosphere.

I had a great experience at Country Inn! I loved Riley the very friendly Corgi. It was truly blissful to make music in the guest area where wine & cookies are served. I went for multiple walks to glass beach because of how close the location is to this landmark of Fort Bragg. Even 3 minutes the other direction towards main street and you are in their downtown with many amazing art stores and the world famous Triangle Tattoo & Museum. If you need to getaway from the city or want to know the meaning of happiness, then I suggest spending a weekend here at the Country Inn. :)

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and had a great stay. Breakfast was amazing both days. I have a lot of food allergies that were not an issue because they use only fresh ingredients and she even thought to check the ingredients on the bread she made toast with. Very attentive and hospitable. We will be back for sure.

The host is super nice and welcoming! The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room had a fireplace and a convenient parking lot access door. There are several restaurants within walking distance, also glass beach is within walking distance, and breakfast is delicious and homemade using eggs provided by the chickens raised on site. All around a pleasant experience and would highly recommend.

Amazing! My wife and I are currently on our honeymoon and we decided to stay here for a night. This is the nicest place we have stayed at, topping Embassy Suites and Best Western by far. Beautiful decor, clean and well kept. Very comfortable beds/sheets/pillows, and the breakfast was phenomenal. The staff is so friendly and does a great job, constantly available for anything you may need but not looming over you. This is the nicest place I have ever stayed, and I have pretty high standards. 10/10, I hope we can come back here again someday.

Great little B&B. Can't say for sure but maybe the eggs at breakfast came from the chickens living out back. It was a short walk to the ocean. The room was comfy but felt a little old. There was a smell we had to air out. Nothing terrible, just not pleasant. The towels were sufficient and the bedding comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here in September 2012, one week after the new owner, Christine, took over. She has upgraded some of the furnishings, bedding and towels (the towels were nice and fluffy). Christine was friendly and welcoming. We stayed there 3 nights, in the Chantilly Room, which was one of the smaller rooms, but very comfortable for us. The shower was on the smaller side, but unless you are extra "fluffy", is quite adequate. We had three yummy breakfasts, including a huevos rancheros egg frittata, and a very hearty baked pastry with a fresh apple topping. The location is approximately 2 blocks from the downtown business district of Fort Bragg and the Skunk Train Depot and within walking distance of Glass Beach. We would recommend the Country Inn as both a good value and nice place to stay in Fort Bragg.

My husband and I chose to stay here, looking for a new and comfortable experience. When we arrived, we were greeted by the inn keeper on staff for the weekend. She showed us around the inn and took us to our room (Granny's attic). She lined the garbage pails once we got upstairs, and dropped off some towels. After she left and we were settled, we chose to explore Fort Bragg. Upon returning, we were ready for a nice, relaxing bath. When I went in to turn on the water, I was quite disgusted to find hair that wasn't mine in the drain and along the sides of the tub. I had to use a washcloth and some bar soap to wash down the tub to make the situation slightly better. After seeing the condition of the tub, we actually questioned whether the bedding was clean or not. This wondering came from the fact that it was not the lovely bedding featured in the picture on the website, but rather an old, color faded comforter with a focal point pillow that was moth eaten and stained. In the morning, we definately looked forward to a lovely breakfast, but were disappointed yet again when a type of baked bread pudding (stuffed french toast) with sausage, apples and nuts was placed before us, the bottom of which was burned. This breakfast dish was also not as warm as it should have been and was technically what the health department would label in a danger zone temperature. This was not an ideal situation for me, as I am 4 months pregnant.
