Very poor costumer service. They charged me an extra $250 for a scratch, that we did not do. And when I tried to ask for a manger they refused and said all communication will be through my bank. I’ve read a lot of complaints about the costumer service. Looks like they could really use some work on that.

The view is amazing. Rooms are really nice amd clean. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. Would definitely come back.

So if you’re looking for a special stay this hotel has All rooms with an ocean view and private balcony. Small fireplace and heated floors. When you check in with friendly staff you will be greeted with some great coffee and a bag with breakfast treats. If you let them know its a special occasion they take note. Give it a try. Local restaurants are close by and rooms are buffered well from noise from the road.

We loved our stay at your hotel! We were on the second floor in the center of the building. The room was very clean. It's obvious, the owners take great pride in the hotel and keep it nicely updated and clean. We stayed at 10 hotels down the west coast and this one was one of our favorites! The eucalyptus trees smelled amazing while we sat on the balcony. Highly recommend.

We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! The staff was great too! I will definitely be back! We walked to the harbor everyday as well as out to the ocean on the trail to watch the sunset.

Absolutely loved our stay. Had top floor king suite. Super comfortable accommodations. Loved looking out at the harbor and watching the sunset. Found a very good restaurant close by (thanks to the most friendly front desk). Fell asleep listening to the waves and fog horns. Perfect.

We’ve stayed here twice now, in November and just about a week ago. It’s a clean, friendly place to stay with nice updated rooms and a gorgeous view. We came on motorcycles and it had easy access.

Great views of the ocean from every room.

The view and sounds from the harbor you can watch the fishing and crab boats existing and entering the harbor in the morning and evening. Comfortable rooms with a fireplace. Esteban was at the front desk and very professional and helpful.

Wonderful stay at one of their suites. Nice room layout. The spa tub in the room was the highlight. Cozy, romantic and scenic atmosphere.

Thank you, North Cliff Hotel for making my birthday a great one. We had such a nice time whenever we were in the room. Loved the tub. I know some people have complained about the foghorn, but we thought it was soothing and fantastic! In fact, we slept with the sliding door open all night just so we could hear it. Breakfast was good, front desk and cleaning staff were always friendly and helpful. I can't wait to stay again.

I stayed there with my fiancé midweek while I was on R&R after having been in the Middle East for over a year, and while the oceanfront view was very nice, there was not much else to applaud for the price paid… The “Superior” suite the is dedicated to the owners deceased spouse, Victoria, did not have air conditioning, and neither do any of the rooms for that matter, which is not mentioned on the website, nor over the phone when booking with a representative of the hotel, and with the ocean front view facing the sunset the box fan, (yes a $19.99 Walmart box fan) provided, does absolutely nothing to cool the room until the sun is completely set. I asked the housekeeper Ana not to tuck the sheets and blankets under the mattress when she made the bed, and came back to the bed being in the same state in which we left it. The door frame was damaged by someone having made entry into the room while the security bar was latched, and was pulled away from the wall a noticeable distance with finish nails protruding from the framing, that I was told would be fixed while we were out on our second day, it was not, and remained that way until checkout. Finally the jacuzzi type tub, which has a wonderful view of the pacific, but there is a note that asks guests not to use any setting higher than low after a certain hour, however the operation panel on the tub was not functional, it appeared to be rather old, and had been rigged to a button that only allowed for on or off.

What a fabulous hotel. We stayed here for our 7th anniversary and we are so glad we did. The room was perfect, bed was comfy and service was spectacular. We will be back!

Great great weekend and the first time at a hotel with my dog! Dog bed, bowl and sheets to cover the couch! I brought all my own because I wasn’t sure! Views were amazing and the breakfasts were terrific! We watched boats and seals heading into the harbor! We also really appreciated the binder with local information. Friendly staff! You will see me again this summer!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There is a spacious in room jacuzzi that is a must for couples. They have full amenities, fridge, microwave, big TV on a mobile mount, and quality furniture. Staff was great, always quick with a greeting! Breakfast is simple but pretty good for complimentary.

This hotel may not look like much from the outside, but it has an AMAZING view as well as awesome reception and the staff are really nice too!

We had a wonderful stay last weekend. We travel a lot so have high expectations. This hotel certainly delivered. It was not only a large room but beautifully decorated, sheets were amazing, the fireplace was a nice extra touch, the refrigerator came with cold waters and creamers for our coffee. The view was over the bay entering into the ocean which we enjoyed sitting out on our deck to watch the waves and boats. The fog horn could be heard but in a distance. We slept with the slider open so we could hear it and the ocean waves. I highly reccommend this place if in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your hotel and look forward to visiting again sometime. Just a little constructive criticism, I was a little surprised at the quality of construction finishes such as the texture on the walls, the fixtures in the bathroom and the linoleum floor in the restroom, for the price one pays to stay it seem you might want to upgrade the rooms a bit. The location is fantastic and the views are spectacular just a few details to knock it out of the park. Thank you.

Great view of the ocean, awesome Jacuzzi tub in our room. They gave us a free bottle of wine for our anniversary. Only con was there were some homeless people being loud outside and across from our room. Once I spoke with the front desk all was well.

Nicely appointed clean room with a wonderful view and a great continental breakfast. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Definately THE spot to stay in Fort Bragg!

Nice hotel, friendly staff and large rooms with a lot of amenities. We loved de hot tub in the room, with a view over de sea. Attentive were the wine glasses and bottle opener, since you are in wine country after all. One little downside : noise. Walls are not exactly soundproof, and outside is a constant sound of a mist horn, which kind of spoils the fun of sitting outside on the terrace, sipping a wonderful California glass of wine.

First impression of the room… Had a little musty and strange smell. The jacuzzi tub was perfect in size. Fits two people that were 6ft+ and 5'10. Nice size TV that extended from the wall to accommodate all areas for viewing. Ok breakfast and overall not a bad place, just ok.

The fireplace is wonderful for relaxing by while reading a book. I enjoyed my restful nights sleep on their pillow top mattress snuggled in the soft fresh linens on the bed. The shower, bathroom area was very accommodating with the fridge, microwave and safe. Also included a coffee maker with all the condiments for brewing a fresh cup. All in all this is one of the best and relaxing hotels to stay at. They also serve a free breakfast above the lobby.

Great view from the king suite. The free breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, baked goods, yogurt, and fruit. Architecture of the hotel is a little strange with the layout of stairs.

Rooms are definitely not worth the price, fireplace has a timer that goes off, parking is extremely tight, there are no tubs in the two queen room only a walk in shower, there is no onsite laundry (it's a beach hotel! ) There is no ac so we had to sleep with the balcony door open and the fog horn goes off every 17 seconds (yes, I counted. ) Also, there is no elevator. Plus, my family was complained about at 6pm for a "bunch of kids running around" 3 kids under 5 who weren't even being loud. If I could have left early, I would have. The maintenance gentlemen was very friendly and accommodating as was the woman serving breakfast and the view was nice.

The hotel was beautiful. The view of the harbor was AMAZING. The room was clean and very nicely furnished. It was kinda inconvenient that we couldn't smoke on the balcony. It was still a great stay. It's just too bad we had a family emergency and had to leave a night early and still had to pay for the second night.

I would consider this a high priced place. We got a room with a tub which was great. The breakfast was good: bagels and bread, cold and hot cereal, scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs, waffles. Very good coffee. We did have ants in our room though.

This place had huge rooms, great views, friendly staff, and were pet friendly. Breakfast was included and they had local wine for sale in the main building. My husband and I would have loved to spend more time here.

Fantastic view, and nicely appointed rooms. Staff were exceedingly helpful! Some noise from the highway audible with the windows open and from the balcony. Still a great stay. Breakfast was quite decent too.

After just our first night we would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. I am glad we will be here for a few more nights. The room is furnished beautifully. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and they also offered a good breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here many years ago and were impressed. We were back in town on 10/16/17, and got their deluxe spa suite. After walking in, I asked her why we would stay anywhere else on the north coast. The suite was beautiful and the view breathtaking. The only negative we had was the restaraunt across the river was closed for some reason. Not North Cliff's fault of course. The staff was attentive and the mood relaxed. Will definitely be coming back again (for the exact same suite! )

The hotel is located near the coast, and all rooms have ocean view. This being the west coast, you also get sunset view! Our room had huge jacuzzi right in front of the window. They also stock rooms with ice buckets and wine glasses, so you get all the pleasures at once. And there is a fireplace in every room. This is probably the best hotel on the west coast for its money.

The location of this hotel is perfect! You are across the street to harbor access and restaurants and only a few minutes from downtown! The view is phenomenal! There is nothing like waking up to the ocean out your window or watching the sunset from your balcony each night. We stayed in a Jacuzzi tub king suite and it was a very large room that you can relax in whether your sitting and reading on the balcony or taking a bath for two. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great couples getaway or a nice ocean view.

If you want a romantic and charming hotel, North Cliff is the place to check into! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon this past July. The rooms all overlook the ocean and are incredibly private, which is something my husband I were looking for. Our room, 204, was spacious and nicely appointed with a large comfortable bed, quality furniture, balcony, electric fireplace, and, best of all, a two-person Jacuzzi tub with a large window so you can enjoy the view as you soak among the bubbles. Upstairs from the lobby, which is in a separate building from the rooms, is where the continental breakfast is served. There is enough food to fill you and you can dine inside, or out on a small balcony. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and are all happy to recommend places to go, good restaurants (which are a bit pricey in that area), or give directions to where you want to go. If you stay there, visit the botanical gardens or glass beach. Mendocino is a short drive south of North Cliff and is full of quaint shops. I am hoping we can come back this winter to rejuvenate ourselves after our first Christmas together.

We loved this spot. We will totally come again. The room was spotless. The tub and fireplace were amazing. We spent hours in that tub. The view was gorgeous. The staff was respectful and accommodating. It was walking distance to shops and restaurants/bars.

North Cliff is always beautiful. Look forward to just staying in the room with the view. And of course Jacuzzi tub and fire place. Actually had to use fireplace in August… go figure. We love this place… but look forward to an elevator. Getting older and can't quite do stairs like we used to. Staff on phone in in person are always top notch.

This is my husband and my go to get away place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and our room is always ready on time. We usually stay 4-5 days when we go with our small dog. The breakfast is also very good. We feel very spoiled and relaxed when we leave!

I loved all the little details of this place! Like jacuzzi bath with all the salts and fizzes, even chocolate. They gave us a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary, COFFEE POTS AND MUGS WERE REAL, and not those cheap plastic pod things they shouldn't even bother using. Warm Fireplaces … Sheets were super soft and beds were VERY comfortable. Rooms are decorated adorable and the ocean view rooms have sliders and huge windows! You don't even have to get out of bed in the morning to enjoy it. The free breakfast is really spectacular. Sausage, eggs, Belgium waffles, fruit etc… even Gluten Free bread! You can rent movies for your room or LISTEN TO THIS… HAVE A BEACH BONFIRE! People don't seem to know this, but it's totally legal and there's plenty of driftwood. The beach was totally calm and not windy. I highly suggest it. The only negatives about this place are the no smoking on the balconies. That made me mad. That's why we have a balcony! Also the private balconies are actually shared with your neighbor, with only a short wall separating you. THE FOG HORN SUCKS, GOING OFF EVERY 20 SECONDS, Like a car horn! And although the beach is beautiful. The hotel is on a cliff, like it's name describes! The trek to the beach is not for the faint of heart. … and if that didn't kill you, the trek back up, just may. Overall great place to stay, I would come back.

Small number of rooms, so book early. Great view. Nice rooms, could use some updating. Nice breakfast with options for every appetite. Good selection of beer, wine and champagne available at a real price, no price gouging. Beds put me right to sleep. I'd reserve a room with a hot tub (I booked late, they were taken…) can watch the sunset from any room.

Nice hotel with large clean rooms and friendly staff. The views are amazing. Free continental breakfast. It must be noted that there is a nearby fog horn that sounds every 30 seconds. I didn't find this to be a problem but light sleepers may and the hotel provides ear plugs in the room.

We visited on Saturday 3/1/2017 I have been coming to this hotel for about 8 yrs. Its one of the nicest hotels in fortbragg. Staff always friendly and the amenities are always on point. Never have been disappointed. The view is to die for. The only things that has changed since the new renovation is the trays in frig with all the goodies. I love that. Would be nice if you guys brought back the juices and the croissant tray with the truffles in The refrigerator. Also Sunday paper. Little things make a big difference. Just a friendly tip $$$$ will return.

I Love this Place! Every room has a jacuzzi tub with a view and a fireplace right next to it. Beautiful furnishings, Gorgeous panoramic views of the Ocean and Noyo Harbor. We wanted to stay and stay and stay. Outrageous Hot Breakfast made to order personally delivered to our room! This place is perfection. I recommend the experience highly.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are fantastic. We had a very private sea view Jacuzzi tub in the room (as well as a gas fireplace). The king size bed was comfortable and the service and staff were outstanding. We were close to everything that we wanted to see and do. Breakfast was good. We will stay here again in the future.

Wonderful gem in fort Bragg. The price is reasonable, the rooms are spacious and very nice, and the patios have views of the cove. We will be back.

We had an amazing experience with the North Cliff hotel. Beautiful location, the rooms were spacious and the staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Can't wait to come back soon! Just FYI, they provide a box fan and ear plugs as the fog horn goes fairly regularly. If you shut the slider and have the fan going, you can't hear it at all.

Amazing! Per friendly. There is a fog horn that goes off every two minutes. Every room is ocean facing and the whole town is behind. Very clean, spacious rooms.

The North Cliff Hotel overlooks the Pacific ocean in FT Bragg, California. The rooms are all looking out over the ocean. The rooms are decorated nicely and the suites include a jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean with a fireplace next to it. I was also happy to have a Blu-ray player to watch movies as our intent was to "getaway" for a while. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and different attractions such as botanical gardens, which are very pretty. If you are in the need of a getaway in northern California or find yourself traveling in Highway 1, they are an amazing place to stay!

Let's start off with the Pros: View, Hot Tube, Staff, Location Cos: Stairs no elevator, Bed uncomfortable, Price way to high for what you get. Hotel needs to Update Rooms. Wi-Fi is very weak. Did not try the breakfast. Price was $250 for the holiday per night. Should have been more like $180.00 & regular price should be no higher then $125.00. If you improve this place then you can charge the price. Lacking luxury.

What a breathtaking view of the ocean! Beautiful room, the smell of the redwoods, and a super comfy bed. We enjoyed this hotel very much. (I only wish there had been an easier way to get the luggage up and down the stairs, which is why I'm not giving it a 5-star rating. )

The hotel is neat, bice spacey romos, good bed, good view. What is bad is that the hotel announces a Speedy Internet and in reality there was nearly NO internet. The hotel announces a Gourmet breakfast and the breakfast is downright horrible, not eatable for someone coming from Mexico and deliciouis breakfasts. It resembles the breakfasts in Holiday iNN eXPRESS hotels. Better have breakfast in the EGG Head in town.

First time staying here I WILL BE GOING BACK service was fantasic room was extremely comfortable bed was great no complaints view was great room had all the extras with out asking they thought of everything.

I wish I had good things to say, as this hotel was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip. Instead, if was a big disappointment. We had a top floor with ocean views (the view by the way is amazing — only thing I can't complain about). Every 2 minutes you hear the fog siren. So if you want quiet, forget about it. You have to sleep with earplugs. The room itself is big. The mattress OK (not great, but OK). The bathroom however seems to be designed for Lilliputians with big dreams. By this I mean the bathroom itself is large, but the toilet seat is so small if you have an average butt you will already be uncomfortable. The shower (which is fixed to the wall) is at a height that any current-age man needs to bend if he wants to be under the stream. And so on. Still, for me the biggest problem was the lack of internet. They say there's internet, but when gmail takes 3 minutes to load (when it does) for me that's the same as no internet. Also, the breakfast opens too late (8 AM). We had to leave without having it.

At first glance the hotel looks too close to the bridge and route 1 but all the rooms point away and you will hear more noise from the fog siren than the road. This hotel has amazing views, sit in your hot tub or on the balcony and watch the sun sink in the ocean, and small boats (or even sea lions) cruise in and out of the harbour. The room had a big flt screen TV you could pivot to watch in the comfortable bed or from the sofa, a large, quiet fridge, many nice little features, loads of towels etc. All I found wrong were the pillows which are way too old, soft (in fact flabby) and made us both sneeze by morning. Please guys hotel pillows should be thrown out regularly. Also ignore thier recomendation for the Cliff Restaurant and go to the Mendo Bistro, light years nicer.

They have allways treated my Wife and I with care and they make our stay so we keep coming back 6 time and there will be more to come. My Wife is disabled and they take care of what needs she has. We are always are Blessed when we go there and looking forward to coming back.

Perfect view, perfect room, nice people and all in all, amazingly refined for the general nature of the area and typical tone of roadside motels.
