The front desk and housekeeping staff were outstanding! They were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable and we were very impressed with how they made us feel welcome. It was our first visit to the area and the suggestions and maps the front desk manager offered helped us very much. Housekeeping was great too. The room was extremely clean and housekeeping immediately helped us when the low flow toilet clogged. The location was fantastic. We were unhappy with a few things. The bathroom door was old with peeling layers of veneer and it was warped so that it got stuck each time we opened and closed the door. The bathroom window screen was old and cracked and open. The windows and walls were thin and the sounds of other guests came through loud and clear. So much that noise woke us up repeatedly. For the extremely high price of the Fort Bragg Motel 6, we wish the facility had been updated with better windows, doors and soundproofing. But the staff was super impressive.

The room smelled like strong cleanser, window doesn't open to air out, so only option was to run a/c. Baseboards need paint, bare floor without rugs was sticky, our shoes stuck every step we took. No Kleenex, no coffeemaker, pretty standard other places for similar price. Bed comfortable, but bigger, better pillows needed for king bed, especially given hard wood headboard with wood trim pieces sticking out (hard to sit against). Good tv, good restaurant. Food (breakfast) excellent, although 30 min wait for food to come out too long (only 3 other couples in restaurant at the time, not busy. ) Easy check in and check out.

Location of the Motel 6 was not bad, pretty close to Fort Bragg's downtown area. Everything else was downhill from there. Sheets were okay, but the pillows and the bed itself were extremely Lumpy. I usually am not too picky about beds, but this was just terrible. Could feel each lump in the pillows, and the bed springs were quite noticeable (and audible even). There was visible yellow grime along the restroom sinks edge, and the shower had some kind of mold/broken spot. We considered going to the hot tub, and you could see the color of the pool and the hot tub were very different. Where as the pool looked okay, the hot tub was literally an off yellow hue. Pass. I went to get a hair dryer at the front desk, and the guy was helpful enough, until he started announcing my room number when there was other people around. I was very uncomfortable with that. He asked for my room number (which is fine, makes sense to keep track of where the hair dryer was going, so I gave it), but then proceeded to continue saying the numbers very loudly. Uhmm, okay. Been to other hotels rated 2 stars and priced similarly… This place did not live up to comparisons.

The front office staff were all very nice. The kids loved the indoor pool. The rooms were both big, but they were both not very clean. It is obvious the owners are making improvements to the property. They had a sign out advertising for housekeeping staff. I spoke with the office about it and they were nice and did give a partial credit back on each room.

Floors were dirty and the toilet … well you had to hold the toilet down for about 20 seconds to get it to flush. But nice staff, friendly place. Excellent value. Would like the swimming pool open earlier and later. I will book there again, mostly because of the price point. Hopefully I can take advantage of the pool next time.

First impression is not bad, but the property could use a little sprucing up overall. Front desk clerk was friendly, but he told me the adjacent restaurant, Angelina's, gives motel 6 guests a 10% discount. Turns out the restaurant no longer offers that discount but previously did. The room itself was adequate but could use a major cleaning / repainting, etc. The mini fridge kicked on while I was making a phone call and was so loud that the person I was talking to asked "what is THAT? " I ended up unplugging it so I could sleep. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the shower produced hot water, so I got what I needed. I've stayed at better Motel 6's but I've also stayed at much worse places. Fine for an overnight stay and a shower before hitting the road, but wouldn't be so great for an extended stay. Having said that I'd stay there again if I'm ever in Fort Bragg.

The room was a good size, but sparsely furnished and had no pictures on the walls. The bed was comfortable. My issue was with cleanliness. The shower floor appeared to have visible mildew or was a least stained and we found a few hairs that weren't ours on the sheets as we first were getting in. Otherwise, it was cheap and well located for our overnight Memorial day weekend trip.

We booked the hotel online very easy experience. We drove over late Friday night and got in well after midnight. They were here happy to see us. Stayed in the suite it was roomie and cute. Also loved that they were pet friendly. Would definitely come back again!

Extremely large room, two full beds, not much furniture. Large shower appears to take up the entire space where a tub once was. It was nice but would have preferred a bath. Floors nice seemed new. Extremely good value for the area. What brought us to the hotel was the indoor pool and hot tub. Both needed to be a little hotter. Pool was almost unbearable but I don't like cold so it may be alright with others. Overall the hotel lacked pride of ownership. Almost every repair was done to the lowest level to do the job. No attention to detail. Main street of Fort Bragg is a major plus.

Would have been nice to have shampoo & conditioner. I didn’t bring any because I’m used to motels having it in the room. The room has had some updates but could use a little more remodeling. Overall a good value. The front desk staff was great. Thank you.

The BEST complimentary coffee ever! The staff was awesome and informative on local hotspots. When they ran out of hot chocolate due to other guests taking advantage of the accommodations they insured my children still got free hot chocolate. After a wk of travelling and Motel 6 Fort Bragg being our last layover I couldn't have been happier and more pleased with everything.

Be warned: I was really hoping it would be up to basic Motel 6 standards, but it is not. Our room was 238, it looked clean and we checked in late. There weren't any bed bugs (I checked) but there wasn't any good cleaning done either. The bathroom floor was dirty and the door had dog claw marks on it which were scary looking. The main room floor was dirty. The pool was not heated and was cloudy. There is a hot tub, but you have to turn it on awhile first and then it will be hot enough. I really wanted to give a good review but I can't. The last straw was smokers underneath us, first ganja then cigarettes. I saved our complaints until after check out, it was a busy holiday week and all other motels looked full. On the better note, the room had an endless supply of very hot water and the TV was o. K. The regular cleaning gal returned and offered to come in and clean but we were getting ready to check out soon… Looks cute from the outside, but they really need to up grade windows, heating units, screens (ours had no screens), mattresses and furniture. It would be nice if they had better blankets on the bed. We did not seek any adjustments but made clerk listen to my stern recommendations for the owner.

I have stayed here before with a friend and it was acceptable enough to try again. We needed a pet friendly, affordable place to stay and this fit. I did appreciate that the pet friendly room had hard floors rather then carpet (no trapped pet odors). The rooms aren't super nice but for a place to lay your head in between the beach etc it works.

I’m sorry to say but this motel is definitely not up to par. I trusted a motel 6 as I’ve stayed at many throughout my lifetime. This was a terrible experience. The bath tub was so dirty we didn’t even take a shower, and the toilet was leaking onto the floor with every flush. There was not adequate bedding ( (very thin blanket for fort Bragg nights. ) ) The television was a joke. All the channels were blurry to the point of not even being able to watch. We arrived at night and were so exhausted and frustrated at that point that we didn’t contact anyone. Plus the front desk guy wasn’t very cool.

So sad to have to rush to take a half full beer my child found from under the bed! Called the front desk to inform them their housekeeping needs to pay more attention to under the beds! I put it in the sink. Happy they didn't try and drink it like it was a soda! Hot tub wasn't too clean either. Found a huge hair ball in the bubbles after we all had been in for a few… glad we're only here for the night. Update… Tim in the office is great! Gave me a discount on the room for the night and I took him the can… he's going to be talking to the housekeeper that cleaned our room. Very nice of him to do that for us… he said he was so upset it was the least he could do… thanks Tim!

When my wife and I travel, whether it is across the state, or across the United. States, we always stay at motel 6. That being the Motel 6 in Fort Bragg California is by fat the best one I have had the pleasure of testing in. The motel is always quiet and clean, and I truly love the indoor pool, hot tub, and gym. This last trip I booked on of the too! ms with a private hot tip and I felt like I ease at a resort!

Very clean, Angemehmer Jacuzzi, very friendly and courteous staff at reception.

It's an inexpensive motel. It's easily accessible from hwy 1. It's not the fanciest place but it's conveniently located and the staff was helpful. It has an indoor pool and small spa which is nice and also Angelina's restaurant is in the same lot. If you flash your room key you get 10% off there. We'd stay there again.

Our stay was very uncomfortable. The beds were hard and springy. The toilet was clogged. There were aunts everywhere in our room. The Indoor pool and hot tub, which is why we chose to stay there was cold.

I can't say enough about this place. Used to be the most expensive hotel in Fort Bragg. Polite employees. Manager went the extra mile and then some to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable.

Room was modern, clean, smelled smoke free. Great for the price. However, the room was not cleaned (towels, linens replaced etc) for the second day. We were staying for 2 days. Not a major issue though.

We always love our stay. Though the "heated" pool used to be much warmer now its freezing. My son couldn't swim so he was disappointed, other than that great stay.

Wonderful staff — but the mold and dirt in the shower were extreme. Every expense that could be spared was — seriously no complimentary shampoo or conditioner? The hot tub was green and smelled foul. I wasn't certain the duvet had been cleaned recently. Overall I would say avoid this hotel — I don't know what it isn't a one star.

The reception service was good and that was the only time I needed it for this stay. The room was large, non-smoking, in the back, on the first floor, with a microwave, small refrigerator, television. The condition of the room was old and worn, but clean. It was fairly quiet back there. Fort Bragg was fun to visit too.

Recently my stay coincided with the northern California Fires. I left Santa Rosa in search of fresh air. It was with gratitude and thanks that I found that Motel 6 Fort Bragg had an Evacuee Donation and Coordination Center on site. This center was staffed with locals and Omie, the Motel Manager. Everyone at the center, including the Front Desk Staff and the cleaning service ladies were kind and warm hearted. Many thanks. Carleen.

Room nice, staff friendly, indoor pool water could be warmer (it was a bit cold but I swam anyway for about 10mins. ). Nice that there are bathroom and drinks in the lobby (breakfast would be even nicer). Room had a large shower that was good but tub would be nicer. No shampoo. Good thing I had brought some.

The floor was dirty and there was food under the bed from a prior guest. However, staff was friendly and room was well apportioned. Microwave and Fridge. They provided a roll away from the kids as requested, but no extra towels or pillows. I realize this is a budget hotel and does not come with breakfast and such, but the coffee and creamer could be a little nicer.

I've been there before and I liked it. This time I stayed I went to take a shower when I arrived and the water was cold! The water heater was appearantly bad? Then the people next to me had to yippee dogs that barked and they also smoked right outside my room and it smelled like they where in my room! The girl at the desk was very helpful and sweet. Please in the future separate the smokers from the non. I wish I knew the little blond girl that was at the desk. she was very nice.

I love staying at motel 6 in fort Bragg, cal. The staff in the office are great. The manager omie burns is wonderful and the maids are very helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely made up. And the pool area is always clean. And I recommend motel 6 in fort Bragg California to everyone. Thank you.

While the room appeared clean, smelled clean and had adequate amenities, frig and microwave, it was spare. The wood floors were probably easier to clean for sandy beach guests. But there was a lot of noise from furniture moving above us and the parking lot. The table in front of the fan and air conditioner (which didn't cool) didn't make sense. The bed was as hard as a rock, no bedbugs but a thin palate. We asked for two queen sized and got one king. For $152.00, we've had better quality.

Very Central location, easy walking to food, etc. Room was clean and comfortable. Would be great to have a small table or desk, especially in a suite. Jacuzzi tub filled quickly and stayed hot but I don't think the Jets worked, at least the button didn't turn anything on but it was fine, just a big tub with a view of the TV made me happy. Bed was comfy, soft linens. The two small chairs were very basic hard wood, not too comfy but okay. Overall good value for a big room and soaker tub.

The front desk staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Although our room was decent, housekeeping didn't stop by our room twice. Leaving us to make our own beds (really no big deal) and go and ask for clean sheets as well as towels! There was a half eaten banana left in our room when we got there and I informed the front desk hoping it would be taken care of. It wasn't so I cleaned that and then asked housekeeping for a broom and sheets and cleaned our own room. The kids loved having the indoor pool directly across from our room but it could definitely use cleaning up and the hot tub.

The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful! We loved the hardwood floors. The staff was awesome and friendly and they have an amazing housekeeping staff. The rooms were so clean and smelled like we were the only people to ever stay there. We also liked that there was an indoor pool and spa. My only complaint, which isn't really a biggie, was that there was no breakfast, but we did get a discount at the restaurant next door so that was cool. Price was great! We will definitely be back everytime we go to Fort Bragg.

Great facilities, great service. Only problem was our room on the first floor smelled a lot of mildew. Other than that it was great!

Came into town on a holiday weekend to get a tattoo. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely our accommodations were at this Motel 6. The rooms were apparently remodeled recently. Everything was clean and functional and modern to boot. Very pleased.

Wifi out in the highest quality section. Poverty class TVs.

Room was a bit dated and incredibly sparse. Front door didn't latch well. Wifi was incredibly spotty. One chair for the entire room was pretty weak.

Ok rooms, beds not very comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Find another place to stay if you want to enjoy your night. The bar next door was so loud. There were people yelling through the early hours of the morning. There were no towels or bars of soap. The floors are dirty and are just cheap laminate. The price was expensive for a whole lot of nothing. Sleep in your car instead.

An uninhabitable room that we were refunded for the one night we stayed, had intended to stay longer. Staff very nice, but the room… crumbs and debris on counters and floors, broken drape, ceiling over shower collapsing. I came back from the pool with wet shoes… the bathroom floor was slippery/slimy. Realized there was orange — something — that had not been cleaned up from floor around toilet. That was it. do not even think about staying here.

Room size was good. Wish there was a DVD player or something to play a movie but that's okay. Close to down town and the beach. Great price and a nice vacation. No shampoos or conditioners.

Great value for the money! Excellent TV channel selection, comfortable beds, and easy to see the ocean. Although they did not offer a complimentary breakfast, there was easy access to shops and restaurants. Downtown is just a short walk north and is a charming sight. If I ever see Fort Bragg again, I will definitely return to this motel.

Saturday night sucks the bar does kareoke night and cant sleep it goes on till 1 in morning I dont think u should stay here they dont even apologize for disruption.

The hotel was great. I spent the night there for my wrestling tournament and as I was taking a shower I could see the ocean from the window. Everyone was yelling at me to hurry up, but the view was pretty nice. The indoor pool and hot tub was very convenient after working hard for the day. Thank you Motel 6 for having us.

This was one of the most positive stays at a Motel 6 i've ever encountered. Way to personify the Fort Bragg mentality! Facility was clean and the staff was very welcoming. Special thanks to Ashley at the front desk. Her hospitality and educated recommendations truly enhanced the experience my wife and I had during our short stay.

This is by far the nicest motel 6 I've ever visited AND they're still planning to remodel. I would actually recommend this motel 6 to friends and family. Pro: closet, jacuzzi tub, large shower, microwave, mini fridge, no tacky comforter, amazingly happy kind staff. Con: 6 non bothersome flies.

My family and I went to fort Bragg Glass Beach on 11/1-11/3 we stayed in to ajoining rooms and were nicley surprized at how nice it was, this is by far our favorite Motel 6 rooms were very clean and no smell very pleasent surprize, thank you motel 6 for helping to make our stay pleasent.

For the price and location, it was just what we needed. The pool was clean. Crowded in the evening but empty in the morning. Our kids had a great time. Also this place is within walking distance of great restaurants, starbucks, safeway and CVS. Pretty convenient.
