Nice place awesome pool n hot tub! Friendly staff…yep I will be back!

Just about the nicest and cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Room reaked of smoke despite being smoke free. Smoke detector was covered in plastic. I was promised a refund for the one night as we left early because we couldn't deal with it anymore. Also promised 50$ discount as there were no other rooms available. Carpet was soaken wet from shampooing the room trying to get rid of the stench. Manger Britney was rude to my wife and is the one who made promises of refunds and then changed her mind after we left. Not only were my wife and I celebrating both of our birthdays but it was Valentines weekend. This was our go to spot for this area. Seabird lodge lost paying customers who come down at least twice a year. Britney, Britney, Britney is a horrible manger and should not be employed by anyone she lied, is rude, and basically robbed us. To bad the previous guests created this mess. However, I am a guest and that is the businesses problem not mine.

Beware, I was charged for damages that I didn’t do. Once they have your credit card info they will charge you erroneous charges. Owner/Manager is unwilling to admit their error. The room smelled bad and was dingy my passiveness of “it’s just one night” turned into an unimaginable nightmare.

Nice hotel with ocean views right off hwy 1. Large spacious room. Friendly, helpful staff. Large flat screen with 1500 Direct TV channels, that included premium channels & even NFL Sunday Ticket! Wi-Fi worked great! Room included Keurig coffee maker, fridge, microwave & all the normal amenities. I was first one to use my room after just being renovated, with great modern style & hardwood floor! There are 3 adjacent restaurants that are conveniently next to the hotel. Loved my stay!

Thank you for being a gracious host and place to evacuate during the 2020 That kindness meant alot to our little family.

The distant view of ocean is definitely distant, but it's a good location and nice clean place with great service.

Extra bed was requested. It wasn't clean! It was disappointing to say the least! Good thing the rest of the amenities seemed to be clean! Staff wasn't to friendly! I interrupted his personal phone conversation!

Friendly staff. But warning BED BUGS. Was in room 203? Killed 8 bed bugs. Moved to 206? Found 2 more. The man was very nice and gave a refund and helped find another hotel. Only was able to be booked for 1 night though at another hotel and didn’t know what to do about the next night drove 7 hours to get here. Disappointed and creeped out. Showered immediately switching hotels. Appreciate the service but would not stay again.

We stayed in room because I requested a balcony. Upon arrival, they gave me room so I had to request a change and asked them to retrieve my booking info. I have to say, having seen the downstairs room, room was much nicer and I appreciated being on the end and the little sunny spot that afforded me in the early afternoon on the non-balcony side. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathroom sink/vanity area is small and counter space is limited, for those that find more needs in that area. Balcony was nice for my dogs and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to pet owners. Muffins were nice, but I’m not much for breakfast food. Location was great and it was reasonably priced. I feel like this room must have been painted/updated recently, and i’m glad for that. Strangely, they have a dated remote and you can’t view the ‘guide’ screen should you want to watch TV; it’s a bit like a time warp (lol).

I really don't understand how this hotel could get such great reviews. We walked into our hotel room and it look like somebody had their car inside working on it all over the rug. It was disgusting. The only good thing about this hotel was that when we complained to Lori, the hotel manager, she worked with us too compensate us for the dirty room. The coffee was a bonus that they had but other than that everything that they offered for breakfast was a carb as in muffins or cereal or yogurt. Very minimalistic and not good at all. I think the hotel is trying to be a good hotel. They do fold their towels nicely and little touches like that however when you look in the corner of the rooms they're dirty and again our rug was disgusting. I'm seriously perplexed about the reviews that I'm seeing. Sorry but I would not stay here again.

Nice staff; clean, spacious room, no air conditioning, microwave, mini-fridge to keep things cold but not enough to freeze anything. Small indoor swimming pool. Anemic continental breakfast 0630-0930. Self-service coin operated laundromat. Free parking. Office lobby hours 0630-2200. Checkout 1100.

Lovely family-friendly and pet-friendly hotel. Spacious rooms. Indoor pool and hot tub. Nicely maintained, wonderful staff. The basic continental breakfast was presented with thought, super clean and with homemade muffins. I hope to return. Would definitely recommend the Seabird Lodge.

This is our second trip to Fort Bragg and both times we have stayed here. The staff is very kind and was quick to follow up on some minor concerns. The rooms are nice and clean.

My husband and I came over to escape the 105 degree weather in Ukiah with our doggies. We had a great time very accommodating. Wonderful accommodations beautiful view of the ocean. We will be back.

It’s got a nostalgic feel and pool, which won over my kids. The location and friendly staff made mom happy.

Stayed here with my family and two dogs. A wonderful experience, we even woke up late for breakfast and the hostess let us stay an extra 30 minutes to eat. The rooms were cleaned properly and it was a pleasant sleeping experience.

Would definitely stay here again! This was a great motel for an amazing price! My kids loved it too! Heated pool and a spa.

Stayed here a couple weekday nights in May for work. I had room 119, which was reasonably clean. Any portion that wasn’t or didn’t appear clean was likely from old age. There was the unusual, sporadic ant here and there, which didn’t seem to have a real source. The owners were very approachable and friendly. In the morning they serve homemade muffins in zip locked bags. I had the blueberry, which was very good. Despite the flat-ish pillows and thin blanket, I slept relatively fine. My review was rounded up to a 5 star due to clean sheets and friendly staff.

I love this place! Very clean rooms. The indoor pool is great! They accept pets! Walking distance to Safeway!

Loved this motel. Very comfy beds. Friendly service at checkin. Beautiful property with private parhs to beach and surf. Quiet rooms away from highway and great view of Pacific.

On a 6 month road trip this was the nicest room, most comfortable bed, very friendly staff and the best price. I highly recommend to anyone travelling coastal highway 1 in the Fort Bragg area.

An absolutely lovely Inn, very clean rooms. Really sweet people at the front desk. They allow pets and have a big area to walk them in. Homemade muffins, cereal, fruit, juices, tea and coffee for breakfast. A wonderful place for families to spend the night.

This hotel was perfect for my family and I. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The layout of the whole facility was great and my children enjoyed the hot tub and pool very much.

Welcoming Hotel with good services.

I would stay here again, but it doesn't have a lot of charm. It was clean, but there were ants in our room. The pros were: the reasonable price; it was quiet at night (off season) ; mini fridge plus microwave in room; and it's close to the harbor. Cons were: the ants; small, thin towels; and there is no beach access.

Nice location, the hotel was about 5 minutes away from the coast, there are some good seafood restaurants in the nearby. The rooms were nice and clean. It has an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast at the hotel were nice although there was not a great variety. Overall it was a great hotel with a really afordable price.

This place is ran by lovely people. We found them very accommodating to our needs. They are also pet friendly.

I love this place. I stumbled onto it on a business trip and stay every month. I brought my wife on a weekend and she loves it too. Good clean rooms, and amazing people owning the facility, including homemade muffins for breakfast.

The hotel is clean and affordable. The staff are professional. Good place to rest your head but don't go there for the ambiance.

This is your typical bargain hotel for Fort Bragg. The beds are uncomfortable and the sheets are a bit rough for someone as spoiled as me. Housekeeping does a good job. I saw them deep cleaning the room next to us and they did a good job on ours. With that considered, the carpet is stained, and all the hinges, door knobs and trim look like they are from the 80's. They are pet friendly and have large open fields to relieve your dog. My biggest complaint is there is only one power outlet on the bed wall and it is located behind the bed. Most considerate hotels will have a lamp with additional plugs or something. My 3' phone charger couldn't reach so I had to plug my phone in across the room. All in all, an adequate hotel for the area.

Bed wasn't that comfortable, carpet was stained, shower had good water pressure. Room had fridge and microwave. Staff was helpful which is all that really matters since this type of hotels are all the same. There's an indoor pool, a hot tub and a laundry room. Breakfast is included.

There is a pool and hottub, they are very comfortable. The room is very comfortable also, has many lights, a window that looks out to a private patio, and one can sit on the patio. Has a Keurig, refrigerator, microwave, two tables, and three seats. When we needed more towels, no problem.

Great helpful staff, friendly and personable. Within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and just a stones throw from the ocean. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Stayed for 1 night. Location was convenient to Glass Beach and downtown Fort Bragg. Room was clean and neat.

Great room very clean have stayed at several different Fort Bragg hotels this is by far the best on a budget hotel I've been at we will be back.

With spacious, clean rooms, Seabird Lodge is conveniently on California 1 and close to the ocean, but needs more attention to detail and a few updates. Our bed was lumpy stiff and accompanied by flat, flimsy pillows far past their service life. The pool and hot tub were great, but the flooring and walls were dated and in need of work. While walking for coffee in the morning, we were approached by a meth addict asking for cash or a quick smoke. The continental breakfast room was lacking and the silence was deafening (tip to the owners — play some music during breakfast). Overall, we were impressed with the hospitality, but we found the creature comforts of our stay were subpar.

The hotel rooms were literally falling apart and there was so much mold! Also there's only a lock on the door knob no top lock so we put the table in front of it to keep our toddler from opening it. I wouldn't go back it was disgusting. The muffins everyone is reviewing we're horrible dry, stale and taste like baking soda.

Was a comfy and clean room. Nice people at the front desk. Pet friendly. Has a coffee machine in the room as well.

The front desk guy was going to charge me extra because I didn't make the reservation through them which I actually did and proved to him that I did. He acted like he was doing me a favor by giving me the price I was given when I made the reservation. I booked a room with a patio that was supposed to have an ocean view… that may have been the case if it didn't have a restaurant right in front of my view. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

Decent little place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was decent for the day and area. Rooms were large and clean.

A pretty good place. It would be 5 stars if they have the AC, but I am glad they provided a fan. The room is good size and I had 2 queen beds, bedroom was clean and had everything we needed. The big good thing is the Wi-Fi speed is high and stable. The location is good too and close to glass beach and restaurants. The indoor pool is a great plus. The staffs were nice too. Recommended!
