Location was near many restaurants, shops, and only a couple block walk to the beach and pier. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were ok. Need some maintenance and fixing up. Overall a pretty good place to stay when wanting to visit Redondo Beach.

Pros: Great location, free parking, warm breakfast. Nice shared back patio. Cons: Renovation dollars were well spent on new exterior paint and landscaping, but they may still be working on refurbishing the rooms. My room (112) was in dire need of attention. The door was very difficult to open to begin with (the result of an improperly framed door and a poorly installed security lock). It took considerable effort to force the door open. The AC worked but couldn't be used at night because it was frighteningly loud when cycling on every 15 minutes. I decided to turn it off and use the ceiling fan, but it too made a loud clicking sound and could only be used on low. Like another reviewer, the door was not framed properly, streaming light and sound from the outside. I reported these issues to the front desk person who indicated she'd give my suggestions to the manager but was not offered a refund (I also did not ask). I'm surprised this motel met Ramada standards.

I would give this actually — 1 stars if I could. The rooms were very dirty. Found hair everywhere that wasn't ours. Ants crawling everyone on the walls. Worst of all, FLEAS. On the bed, there were Fleas. We had to leave at 2 a. M. And we had to sleep in our car. Worst hotel you could go to.

Clean enough to sleep. Cobwebs on the wall. Trash left on the shelves in the closet. Hair in bath tub. Light bulb fell out of the ceiling fan and landed on the bed. A/C worked and I slept well. Just a little dirty. No pool or spa.

We stayed here one night on May 25, 2018. When we arrived and checked in, we went to our room to drop off our luggage before heading out to dinner. The door was propped open with a construction cone and sliding door was wide open. The toilet had a strip of paper across the lid saying it was sanitized so assuming they had just finished cleaning. The A/C unit cover was hanging off a bit and was dirty. We should have inspected the room further, but was rushing to meet relatives for dinner, so closed up the room and headed off. Came back after dark and ready to get in bed. The next morning, our child woke up with a runny nose and cough, not feeling well. Didn't think much of it until we pulled back the curtains to the sliding door and found black mold about 3 inches high on the inside less than a foot from our bed. By the way, to get to the sliding door, you have to climb over the bed. We also noticed dirt, dust, hair, etc. Accumulated in the corners of the floors. The entry door appeared to have a new lock, but the door kept getting caught on the threshold. The shower curtain was missing a few rings that held it on the rod. The bathroom doorway was in need of repair. The hardwood floors were buckled as if they were water damaged and in need of replacement. The walls looked like they were recently painted however there were large dark spots that showed through the dark red paint.

Rooms are extremely small. It needs a lot of updates. The microwave and fridge is pre-historic.

The rooms were very small. If you want to go outside on the patio from your room, you actually have to squeeze your way between the bed and sliding glass door. Mind you, I am a tiny person and I found this very annoying. On the positive side, it's only a few blocks away from Redondo Beach. Such a easy walk. Pop.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Beds were surprisingly comfortable for the price. Great location.

Reasonable rates and a central location right on PCH. While there is not a restaurant on steam, there are MANY options within walking distance. Parking is underground. Rooms are clean, but very basic. Overall, this is a good option.

Rooms and property slightly tired, but about what one would expect for this class of hotel. The spa was closed for repairs. My room was in need of some paint. The public ice machine was a bit of an eyesore. No eggs or meat for breakfast, just yogurt for protein (plus toast, mini bagels, cheap pastries, make your own waffles). There was some noise since the hotel was right on PCH. That said, the staff was kind and helpful, my bed was comfortable, the room was clean, there were shaded tables available outside to enjoy the great weather, parking was decent (underground garage), Wi-Fi usually worked well. Nothing glamorous but it was clean and comfortable and just nice enough, plus a pretty good location with walking distance to the beach. I will certainly consider staying here again next time I have a need for a room in the area.

The best thing is its location, very close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms are simple so for a short trip works very well.

I came here to visit my brother in law last week. Upon check in the staff seemed friendly. I could tell that they were doing renovations to the units. When I got to my room I was initially satisfied, the beds we're clean and the furniture seemed decent albeit a little beat up. Then, after I placed my luggage in my room and decided to take a nap, I leaned against the headboard and it fell off the wall. Seems that it was secured only to the drywall and my slight touch was the last bit of force needed to dislodge the screws. Additionally the hair dryer seemed broken, and smelled awful after turning it on. The furniture, well the drawer in the dresser was broken and when I pulled out the drawer it just fell to the floor. In my opinion I would avoid this place.

Such an awesome place to stay! Rooms were huge, staff was super friendly & helpful! Didn't have to donate my left kidney to stay. Only a couple of blks from the beach! Definitely will stay here again on our next visit!

Place was awesome. Clean and nice. Super close to the beach. The owner was so nice. He really loves his job. The breakfast there is AMAZING! Anything you could want, even a waffle maker! We will definitely be staying again! Thanks!

First of all, the best are the free parking and the short way to the beach. The rooms are old and poorly cleaned. Overall, the hotel has a very funny atmosphere, we did not feel comfortable here and stayed only 1 night (had booked 2 nights, refunds were made to us 50% of the 2nd night, that was ok). Conclusion: For a night as a stopover ok, then you also want to leave quickly.

Great for what it is. Simple, clean, and inexpensive. Free parking. Decent free breakfast. Not that pretty, but great as a homebase while checking out the area.

It is a bed in a great location. Staff was nice. Hotel is old with a cheap reno. Walls had major wallpaper and hole issues. Free parking for 1 car in a basement garage was great in a city where parking at good hotels costs $30+ a night. Had a nice looking Jacuzzi in back but did not use. Room was not ready for 3pm check-in. Probably would not stay again unless in a pinch. For $150 I would expect a little nicer place.

Lovely hotel! It is a three minutes walk from the Redondo beach and the Redondo beach. Food and other things can also be bought nearby. The rooms are okei size, we had a room with two queen sized beds. The reception and the cleaners are very nice and helpful. There is a parking lot between the houses, with areas with green bushes and places to sit. It actually made for a very nice place to have lunch, play games, etc. I would recommend a stay!

Love this hotel! It's in a great location and really close to the beach. The rooms have high ceilings and several lighting options with both heating and actually that work really well. The prices aren't all that bad either during the weekdays. Weekends are a little bit more pricey, though. Overall, great place to stay.

The vacation was perfect here. The hotel was in the perfect location and about a 10 min walk from the beach. As far as the hotel goes, they had all the accomidations from breakfast in the morning and a hot tub right out the back door. If you are looking for a hotel near the beach this one is perfect.

Rooms need improving. They say renovations will start soon. Great location. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach gor fantastic views of the sunset. We were in room 109 & 10 feet from jacuzzi out our back door. All of the staff was super super friendly. Very very accomodating. Liked the Free underground parking. So many great places to eat very closer to hotel. Thank you Manager Upali for all of your help.

It's clean and orderly. Relatively quiet as well. Not the most extravagant place in the world, but it serves its purpose. They have fridges in all the rooms. Some rooms have a fan and ac unit and some just an ac unit. A fine place if you don't plan on spending a ton of time in your room.

The room was decent and close to Redondo beach. The rooms looks like they were remodeled by myself (that's not praise). Walls are thin and you can hear just about everything. Staff was friendly though. All in all, stay for the location, not the quality.

My reservation was cancelled because I didn't activate my credit card before trying to use it. Instead of just telling me to find another room somewhere else they accommodated me and my family with a room for the night. The next day we were moved into another room, that room was a smoking room and being that my family and I do not smoke. Again they went above and beyond and moved us into a non smoking room. Keep in mind this isn't a slow place and the fact that they were booked for the weekend I am sure this was no easy task for them to accomplish. The level of service here was truly amazing. The rooms are not four star and the towel are almost crunchy but the amount of customer service is light years ahead of the curve and that is awesome. Thank you Ramada Limited in Redondo Beach for delivering such a wonderful experience. Kudus to the whole staff!

Close proximity to beach, pier, and shopping. Plenty of places to get a bite to eat within walking distance. Underground parking for guests only. Have had issues with my room, but they fixed it. Maid service can be slow — take all day. Spa area is small and has no atmosphere. Outside doors face the handicap parking lot/stalls. Rooms have microwave, student refrigerators and coffee makers.

Booked this facility for the Easter holiday. The location is prime. Just a few blocks from the Redondo Beach Pier. The staff were so friendly and really appeared to care about making your stay pleasant. I mostly only reserve accommodations that are at least four stars, but decided to give the Ramada Limited a try. The room was basic and clean. Really liked that the floor was not carpeted. I rate four stars because of the location and the lovely, customer oriented staff. Thanks guys, I will be back.

They are in the process of upgrading this hotel. It's rooms are average, but the location is exceptional. Beds were fair, room was clean, breakfast should have been better for the price. Parking is underground. Staff was friendly.

The worst bed I have ever slept in. It was like there was a hole in the middle. I told the manager and all she could do was tell me I could have 20% off for a return stay. I would NEVER stay there again. Traffic noise and no shampoo in the bathroom. Don't stay!

Alert bedbugs! nice location of the hotel the staff is friendly, but if you want pets as a bedbugs you are welcome to stay here our kids were eaten by bedbugs and we took home a few now it will cost us in $ thousands I call the manager of the hotel and told her that hotel have a bedbugs she said they will take care of it, but who will take care of my house? please think twice before booking this hotel the do have bedbug problem bedbugs bedbugs bedbugs!

Try to spend a nice weekend with my girlfriend. Nice customer service from the staff, but we found out the hard way that they have bed bugs, tryed to get in touch with the manager but conveniently for her she wasn't abailable until monday. We had to look for a different hotel. So far they haven't call me or my girlfriend.

We were called around 10:00am to verify we were coming. We verified and showed up at 2:45pm. The manager asked if we would like to upgrade to the biggest room, to which we agreed. We were told the room is not quite ready yet but will be available in 30 minutes. We went to the store and the beach and arrived back an hour later only to find they were just finishing up in the room. The biggest room (rm 215) is on the second floor and there is no elevator and you park in the basement. The room is rather small and does not contain a closet for your clothes. Furthermore, the hotel sign is right outside the window so the red light shines in your room at night. The AC is almost broken and makes a strange rattle sound when the fan comes on. The beds squeak. There is a 1/4" gap around the door to the room. The safety chain/security bar is improperly installed and does not work. In fact, we were almost locked in as the bar got stuck when my daughter opened the door and we could not get it undone. They "fixed" the improper installation by loosening all the screws to provide wiggle room for the bar and ball. The bathroom is a complete joke. The sink does not have a stopper. The drain plug in the bathtub does not work. This proved to be a big deal as I needed to give my 2 year old a bath after a day at the beach to get all of the sand off of him. I had to plug the bath drain with a washcloth. The shower curtain rod is improperly installed and tilts towards the floor.

Great little place. Loved the location and the staff. Small, quaint and clean. In a very nice neighborhood and near the Redondo Beach Pier and within 3 short blocks of the beach. Not an high-end property but for it's size, it is terrific.

Its a great small place. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. All in all a great place to spend the night. Would recommend. Got it for 90dls out the door for king, non smoking.
