Very clean room. Owners were very nice. Will definitely stay again.

Great price, great location, super friendly staff we had a very minor issue with a faucet and they had a plumber in our room in 15 mins at 8pm. Will be staying there again.

Booked this hotel because of the price and it was close to the beach. Glad I only booked one night because we ended up going to a different hotel for the rest of the vacation. It wasn't terrible, but there are much better hotels in the area. Everything is outdated in the room. Could hear our neighbors talking and every move they made at night. And you can hear the traffic from PCH all night. The room smelled old and musty. The shower heads are super low for some reason. I'm only 5'2" and it was uncomfortable and I hit my head on it. I've never seen that anywhere, it was weird. The lady at the front desk was nice and it was only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. I would classify this as a motel anyway. No amenities, no lobby, no elevator. Roadside motel to stop over for a night.

The moonlite in was clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. If youre looking for an inexpensive quiet night this is a cool spot to check out.

Bed was hard but good price for a beach hotel.

Very loud. There was a fight at 2 am and I was the one who call the authorities. The floor was sinking in some places and well and the patio felt like it was made of plywood and not safe to stand on.

1 star seems to be all I can give this place. I was booked this room by a good friend and I feel bad for her that this the rating I gave it. A. Ty vm 4 the room and girl love us. Now the staff here ate very rude and it is no wonder there is only 5 cars in the parking lot. I was truly pissed at how I was talked down to at this place ANd room smelled. I rather sleep in my car then give a hundred bucks to this dive mono.

Great rate! Great Wi-Fi! Great shower water pressure! Neat and clean. Comfy king size bed and my request for 4 more pillows was quickly accommodated! Safe and quiet neighborhood. 4 blocks from the beach! We stayed for a week, visiting our grandbabies. We will be staying here our next visit!

Dirty, musky room with weed crumbs/residue and burn marks everywhere. At the very least it is conveniently located. Whether or not that makes up for every surface being sticky, im not so sure.

The Moonlite Inn is your average cheap hotel. The office was super nice and they fixed our key super fast. The room smelled like old cigarettes and there were cigarette burns on the furniture. There were also stains on our pillows. The bathroom was just ok. This place is worth the cost because it's the cheapest around.

Very basic hotel. Have to ring doorbell at 830 pm to get the office staff's attention. Room smelled strange and the sheets were clean but stained. Outlets were missing front plates. Just a place to go if you need a bed and don't want to be homeless.

Not that bad given the price. Amazing location. Owner was very cordial. Room was pretty dirty, floor was wet when we checked in (owner said carpets had been cleaned). I would probably come back but I would not bring my family here again.

The management is a shitty one. I stayed here for business. Rooms are poorly managed. To top it off, they were not giving me a proper invoice I can use for my claims. On my first call I was asked to call after 2 weeks because the manager was on vacation. When the manager came back, she declines to give an invoice and was rude enough to hang up the phone. If you are on a business trip, please avoid this place at all cost.

DO NOT STAY HERE! DON'T BELIEVE THE ROOM PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE! THE PHOTOS ARE STAGED! Office person I dealt with was a nasty toothless rude man. Staff really are worthless. Room 219 was in front on corner of building overlooking a very very noisy Pacific Coast Highway. The traffic noise was unbearable. The room rug was dirty, spotted with burn marks. The TV did not work although they touted satellite TV with multiple channels but there were only seven channels and only one worked for me. Staff did nothing to fix it. There were dark greasy smudges/fingerprints on walls, entry door, and bathroom door. Furniture is WAY out dated, blonde, ugly, with big nicks and burn spots. They must have picked it up off the street. Mini fridge is good size but very old and dirty. The pedestal it sits on has mold. The room smells of dank mold. There is bubbling and paint peeling off the wall behind door, CLEARLY water leaking issues. Wires are hanging loosely out wall. Unknown questionable dried spots on the walls. Paint on walls is old sticky and outdated. The two chairs were so dirty, spotted and filthy I wouldn't sit in them. It is clear to me that the owners, employees of this property have no pride or care about this place… nor do they value customers. Their contempt of customers is evident in how the property is cared for. Even $75 a night they could do a better job. If you have VERY LOW expectations for a motel then by all means come to the Moonlite Inn.

We stayed here for a few nights on a spur of the moment mini vacation. Room was clean, quiet, cheap, has mini fridge, microwave, and a blow dryer. & VERY close to the beach and plenty of dining around! Would stay again!

I can't believe that the excellent review is not a fake. It's all the opposite! Just the walking distance to the beach is true …
