I stayed with some friends at the frontier motel. The room was pretty small and the bathroom wasn't very clean, I opted to use public restrooms when I could. The sheets were stained and there were only two power outlets. It's close to Disneyland and it was pretty cheap all things considered so all this was expected but I wouldn't say the stay was enjoyable.
Sleeping at this motel brought me a hint of nostalgia. It really took me back to a time where I was a child growing up in the ghetto being abused by my father and eating syrup sandwiches. Ah. Childhood. There were roaches, dirty walls, dirty doors, and I didn't dare touch the bathroom. Me and my bud slept fully clothed, shoes included, as to not have any of our things be infested. One cool thing was that there was a literal 1.5 inch roach that was having a hard LSD crash on our bathroom floor when we got there. He was just chillin' on the floor, waiving it's legs at us as we watched it crash hard from it's previous night of partying with it's other roach friends. So if you were abused and have father issues like me, and want a hint of that nostalgia of the first time your father struck you, here's a good place for you!
