Although it says Tropic Lodge, it should be more transparent and say Tropic Motel. Front desk service was standard. Amenities such as heating, cooling, fridge, microwave, small-sized pool, and TV was available. The rooms could use some improvement as my room did not mention that it smelled like cigarettes. After finding another room, I learned that the rooms were all the same and that they all smelled like cigarettes. From that small issue alone, it made me not want to return or even stay in the room that much. Pricing is decent but I wish the rooms were better.

This place is an excellent option for the price. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and liked the solid wood-like floors (no carpet). Never saw any bugs or critters and the furniture was clean & modern. Room had no funky smells which was a pleasant surprise at $59 a night. Lots of channels on the TV and overall really easy & nice experience!

Pros: Hot showers, good toilet, hardwood floors, AC works well. Linens were clean, but the blankets and padding haven't been in a while. Mattresses aren't that bad. Cons: Walls are paper thin! Not bad if your neighbor is an early sleeper. Not so good when your neighbor is either a vocally amorous couple, or a lonely person with a really good set of speakers on their electronic device (either way, I'm NOT sorry my kids blasted Disney Jr. At 7 am). Bedding is not the cleanest, and the amenities were sub par. Adding a body lotion to the amenities would have been nice; as it is, they have a packet of combo shampoo/conditioner, and a piece of soap that doesn't lather well. Dunno if they can help the walls, but better amenities would have earned another star.

Desk agent was nice, helpful with finding my lost reservation. Needs updating in bathroom.

Good inexpensive place with clean rooms and basic amenities. A new marquis sign is needed for ambience. It looks a bit ghetto driving in. Dont let that scare you. Comfy beds. Good TV. Lots of space.

Good lodge where is located in Vietnamese town. Wifi is not good.

The rooms surprisingly were really nice. Thought they were going to be bad. They even have flat screen Vizio. Comfortable as well, no noise either.

WOW! My boyfriend and I stayed in this cozy little hotel because we couldn't find any camping spots nearby. This place was great! Very clean, updated inside, CLEAN hardwood floors that obviously get scrubbed, marble bathroom sink and floor, beautiful bathroom, super comfy beds, and ahhh, the feather down pillows were icing on the cake! We slept so well! The large flatscreen TV was awesome. I thought that the shuttered windows were a cute touch as well. We had a microwave and large fridge in our room, too. No sign of bedbugs or bugs of any kind (thank god! ). We will definitely be staying here again!

The room we had was clean, though their was some mildew on the bathroom ceiling. Also in the shower / toilet room the only lights were heat lamps so it was hot to sit on the toilet with the door closed. The air conditioner struggled to cool our room, it was better to open the windows after the sun went down for cooling. They had free Wi-Fi, but it was a little slow.

Located in Korea town, great places to eat nearby. Very basic room, which was perfect since we didn't spend much time there. Only to shower and sleep. Surprisingly clean!

Great little place. It was definitely more than I expected when setting a reservation and the woman working the counter accomodated my requests. Excellent place to stay if you didn't need anything too fancy and wanted to stay close to Disneyland.

This motel is actually really nice. Hardwood floors, spacious bathroom counter, the beds were so comfortable. However, we did not realize when we booked that there was a $50 deposit (I've never paid a deposit at a motel). And the person who assisted us made everything even more confusing. Thanfully when we came back with cash for the deposit someone else was able to check us in and everything was fine. The pool is currently undergoing maintenance but other than that our stay went well.

This was a great place to stay. Not busy on the roads near it and 14 minutes away from Disney and about 30 min from Huntington Beach. Big rooms and hardwood floor. No alarm clock or hair dryer so bring your own but other than that it's a great stay.

The stay was nice. Besides the smell of the drain in the shower sometimes. It was nice.

Nice updated rooms. Very comfy beds hard wood floors. Everything was really clean and quiet.

Excellent value considering the price. Mini fridge, microwave, flat screen with many channels for the kids. Disneyland is anywhere from 15-25 min away depending on traffic. The area is nice, I didn't feel uncomfortable getting here from Disneyland at 12:30am. It seems to be in Korea town which is a cool experience in itself.

I expected next to nothing and was blown away by how nice these rooms are; especially for the price. Definitely my favorite bargain basement hotel in the area. The rooms have clearly been remodeled recently and it really increases the value your stay. Hardwood flooring from wall to wall, HD flat screen TV mounted on the wall, mini fridge, microwave, and everything very well lit. Yeah, those may seem like obvious amenities at a hotel nowadays, but trust me they aren't standard at this price range in this area. I was amazed by this hotel; considering the price.

Everything was fine except the painfully slow Wi-Fi.
