I stayed in the tidal suite. This room is the size of a small 1 bedroom apartment. I was expecting a regular suite nothing like this one. It’s not the fanciest place but the location is great. You can walk to the Ventura marina and the beach. At night you can see the stars on the balcony and hear the crashing of waves in the distance. It is also about ten minutes from downtown Ventura and the pier. I would recommend this hotel. Cons: this could be bc of covid… staff seems short handed at the front desk, $12 daily parking, older building but newer furnishings and the standard breakfasts for sale that most marriott hotels offer. But with the mini fridge you can just bring cereal and buy milk.

Room smelled like cigarettes. And then was charged for smoking in the room. No cool at all. And the grounds smell like sewage. They water there lawn with recycled water = (

Our room had so much space. Beautiful room but the bathroom was not cleaned well. I mean I wished I would of bought my bleach.

Been coming here for work and stay 2 days the most. The beach is a few minutes away and it’s super quiet!

Nice big rooms. Microwave and fridge. Naar the harbour and beautiful surroundings.

Continental breakfast was warm and had no toast or r bread of any kind only cakes. Food should be served above 135 degrees not warm… very surprised as a platinum Marriott member at the food quality and preparation. Won’t be back here.

Great area for walks and fun restaurants.

I liked the hotel for the little time I was there.
I didnt like they couldn't get me a room key so someone had to walk with me to let me in the room. I did like the view. Ventura Harbor is beautiful. I didnt like there were only 2 coffee creamers. I didnt like there were no instructions to get heater working. I didnt like the TV guide didnt work. I had to go channel by channel. The beds are very comfy tho.

Clean, easy access to Ventura. Rooms are warm and could not make the room cooler even with your key card. Bring pillows with you, they are very flat. Food at restaurant just ok. Room was not a $300 a night room. We will not go back, surprising for a Sheraton.

The hotel will be getting a renovation soon which is quite overdue. Here are some tips is you stay: be sure to check the alarm clock before going to bed (ours rang at 6am when we were trying to sleep in), if you get a room with 2 queen beds, and the maid is trying to come in your room at 8am don't jump out on the wall closest to the door to stop her, there's no space and you'll smash your toe. We got the $12 parking fee waived because I let them know that the carpets in the room felt sticky. Room service was better than average and internet was petty good. Location is great too.

Had a very comfortable sleep. The initial shock was learning that getting the AAA rate meant that we had to pay for parking ($12 a night) and breakfast was not included. So we didn't save much using AAA. In addition, not sure if the room was specific for the AAA rate, our room couldn't have been further from the lobby or the parking lot. Additionally, our shower's drain was clogged which left my wife in over-the-ankle deep waste water during her shower. The only other issue was the restroom window which is directly above rhe toilet. You'll hear people walking by and they're sure to hear you toot (even with the louvered window closed). However, the room was clean, the shower was the right temp, the air conditioning worked, the curtains covered the windows completely, and the bed was so darn comfortable. The pillows were a little too soft though. Would I stay here again? Yes. It was a bit more expensive than most motels but we got a great night's sleep.

Overall this is a nice hotel to stay at. The facility is in a convenient location close to the beach and shopping. There is plenty of parking and check is an easy process. They have a restaurant downstairs next to the check in desk and it is reasonably priced with reasonable food. The rooms are quite large, the particular room I stayed in had a nice view and was in a quiet location. The only downfall was housekeeping. The general cleaning and making of beds was poor, even when leaving a tip.

Not an overnight guest. Attended an event at this hotel. While an older hotel, ballroom was still functional and the restrooms were will keep. Easy freeway access from hotel.

Our 3rd hotel on a road trip round California and despite it having the highest hotel star rating we have stayed in to date it has been the most disappointing. The positives, a vast room with 2 large beds and a well laid out bathroom. Beds are too soft for me, but would suit others. The negatives, other than the lavish lobby the room corridors are tired. The bed linen is fit for a smaller bed than those in the room. 1 small coffee mate pod per person provided which is not enough to make a black coffee white and the sugar sachets previous guests must have collected as they were chain restaurant ones. The seats on the balcony presented a view of a 3ft 6" high, rough plastered, wooden wall and the tops of the tree's, to have any sort of view you would have to be standing. I wouldn't book again.

We stayed here while visiting from Washington for the Mountains to Beach marathon and had a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious and very clean. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us — we had the 2 queen bed option. All of the standard services worked fine… free Wi-Fi and the staff were very courteous and friendly. Nice covered spa area and open pool. Harbor location is nice. About 3 miles from downtown Ventura but there is a trolley that runs Thursday-Sunday that is free and very convenient. Lots of good eating options in the Harbor/Marina area. Excellent parking… loads of space though costs $12/day. We used the grab and go food options from the restaurant which worked well — they just call you when it the food is ready, or you can order from the bar. A sundries/general store options would be nice although there is a Von's grocery store and Starbucks a couple miles away.

We had a lovely stay, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice pool and jacuzzi open untill 11pm. Very good room service. Breakfast was tasty, takes a bit long for food to arrive though.

Very clean, staff was very professional, food was great. Would definitely return for any type of event.

Lunch buffet: really good food and nice atmosphere. We had 2 severs but one didn't come by to our party so often. And when she did, she only refilled some drinks but not the whole table. The other server made up for it, she came by quite often and always asked if there was anything else we needed.

Very good service, very good venue, and it is close to the beach.

Kind of disappointing for a Four Points, but a decent value for waterfront in Ventura.

A bit far from town, but good proximity to the harbour village shops and restaurants. The grounds are lovely, and the rooms are older but nicely updated.

Bed was comfy but hotel is mostly outdated. My low score is due to 3 items: 1-We had issues in our departure. A colleague and I had booked a shuttle to the airport and on check out asked the staff weather had to wait outside or not. We were told we could wait inside. The shuttle didn’t stop because there was nobody outside and because of that we almost missed our international flight. The hotel didn’t take responsability for their actions, which was disappointing, and we had to arrange an alternative way to get to the airport. I would urge management to discuss this with their staff so they don’t give misleading information to their guests. 2-Besides that my stay was mostly fine. Main comment is that tap water tasted terrible and their teas are of low quality, the combination was unbearable. 3 — internet was highly unreliable!

Sunday brunch buffet is pretty weird in general. Service is great and the food isn't bad. It just feels like a culinary tour of the 1980s with a couple of 1960s dishes thrown in. Weird "tamale" things covered in generic red sauce and cheese? "Seafood Newport" — assorted shrimp and other critters swimming in a thick, orange-colored cream sauce? Check. Pork ribs? Check. The safe bets are the desserts and standard breakfast fare, like omelettes and bacon. And you can get those for less than 30 bucks elsewhere.

Great place and awesome staff. Wide selection of local craft brews available and the location is beautiful. The manager, Renee Edralin was great!

Rooms weren't ready for those who had been travelling all day until 7pm, hotel staff claimed they would call once the rooms were ready (they didn't), I was allowed to check in for the second half of the conference and told I would remain in the same room, but without warning or even any sort of notification (phone or email) my belongings were packed and I was told to move to another hotel, not just another room, but ANOTHER HOTEL ACROSS THE STREET! Edit: Hotel staff have been informed, without me needing to do so, of my situation and have apologized just at the mere mention of my name, which is very much appreciated. Their facilities are quite nice and I have experienced no further issues.

Loved the hotel and the staff was nice. I was able to have my large dog and there was plenty of area to walk him. I would totally stay there again but I do think the hotels billing practices are odd. Upon arrival they pre-charged everything, with additional incidentals. Then the next day they put an additional hold of another $200 which they claimed was for additional incidentals which I thought was odd since I hadn't charged anything to my room. Then upon check-out they released the entire hold on my card and didn't actually run the charge through for 2 weeks. Why hold it for the entire time I'm there for $300 over the amount I'm actually going to pay and then release the hold and not charge it for a few weeks. Odd.

Room was clean and spacious. My room had shampoo, conditioner, body wash mounted in the bathroom of Axil brand. It made me smell like a man (im a female). There also isn't a heater so that's something to consider if you get cold easily.

Simple rooms but nice and clean and there are sliding glass doors and a balcony so you can go outside and breathe some nice fresh air near the harbor. The view can be really nice if you are on the water side. It's worth paying the extra money for the nice view because the other side is just at this time overlooking property under construction and not that pretty. I would stay here again. The rates are very reasonable. Refrigerator in the room is always nice. I really like a hotel where you can open the window. Even better is a balcony right?

Was a solid place to stay. A very nice walk that's not far from some stores and food. Staff was courteous and assisted with more blankets at 1am. Would stay there again if occasion called for it.

The Sheraton Four Points VENTURA is my home away from home! Just dined with the staff and was honored to taste the new menu! Scrumptious meals of Chili, Fried green beans, pizza pretzels and and and. The clam chowder is the specialty as well as the four points breakfast also excellent prime rib. Prices are reasonable. James and Sara are wonderful if you are planning a large wedding or a group event they can help. Brenda and Matt are great bartenders. Isabella, Liz, Ruben, Jose, Raul and Froylan will greet you with a smile always if you dine in the restaurant or if you just decide to relax in your room and order room service.
This hotel offers a nice exercise room with various equipment as well as a jacuzzi and spa! Doctors orders for me:) Prime time location in beautiful Ventura.

Was there for Sunday brunch. Food and staff were excellent. Never had an empty glass. Over all a very pleasant experience.

Brunch was very good. Good was hot, fresh and tasty. Service was incredible.

For the price, you can't get much better. Prime location, less than three minutes from the harbor and a free trolley ride away from downtown Ventura. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Their bar has great prices on liquor, it's always good to pre-drink before heading to town on the trolley to make your night a little less expensive, just make sure you catch that last trolley back to the hotel! The only real complaint I have is you have to pay for parking, $10.00 a day, and no free breakfast, but hey I love eating at the harbor anyways.

This hotel is located at the Ventura Harbor. The staff was excellent all around and the restaurant wonderful for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only reason I don't give the overall hotel 5 Stars is because the rooms could use some updates. But I definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice place and next to the harbor. Older and needs some upgrades. Jacuzzi was out of order, air conditioning units in each room very noisy and soap in shower is scented. Allergic to scents, so soaps should be scent free. Parking costs $10 a day, No free breakfast and on site restaurant is a little expensive. Each room has a view and a balcony.

Location was ideal and staff was very friendly. Property appears older and is showing the wear, but nice large balconies, large rooms and nice tile in the bathrooms. Cleanliness was good. One night of the stay was very loud and sound traveled easily from room to room. Next night was very quiet, so the first could have been due to a wedding or other event. All in all a nice stay.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. Sports equipment is available for guests. They also have an assortment of bikes for a reasonable fee to tour the harbor village, which is a slow 15 minute walk. My favorite attraction here was the heated pool. It's divine!

Dated hotel, not much I can say about the appearances. I like the room for the size and the balcony. The parking lot seemed to be half full when we checked in at 11pm so I'm assuming it's not sold out whatsoever. Now when I checked into the hotel, I ask the front staff if I can get the best room with best view possible. He stated to me that we got a great room over looking the bay. Got excited for that so when we got into the room, the first thing we did was open the door… to the balcony to enjoy the view and have a relaxing night. To our surprised, their was horrible trash smells coming from the balcony and when I looked down, we where literally above their garbage dumpsters nd garabge area. The smell was bad that we could not even stay outside more than 30 seconds. After a long drive from NorCal down, we wanted to take some rest and hopefully sleep in late. I'm a very light sleeper and loud noise or sounds will disrupt my sleep and it will take me an eternity to fall back to sleep. At 7:40 am, the garbage truck was out collecting the trash and of course, we all know the sounds of those vehicles. Neatless to say, I was wide awake after that and didn't even enjoy my stay as I would have hoped. My point of this review is not to complaint about petty issues but to have the hotel and the staff disclose to me that we are above the dumpsters and that there may have a slight odor over the balcony and that the garbage collection is early Saturday morning.

Nice place. Stayed here for Gordon conferences on a few occasions. A bit out of the way, but good for the money. Staff are always friendly and 'tolerant'.

I went for a farewell breakfest for my cousin who got married the night before, the dining area was excellent and food was great I had the breakfast buffet. The hotel was eay to find and had a beautiful location by the water overall it was a great experience.

On the Harbor, walking distance to the shops with many restaurants. It was neat and tidy with the best soap options I've ever had at a hotel. It's definitely older and could use some remodeling, but it's still kept up nicely!

Good hotel right at the Ventura Harbour. I choose the hotel as the starting points for two trips to the Channel Island National Park. The ferry is just 5 min by car. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are quite spacious but not luxurious.

This is a nice place. The location was perfect for our day at the harbor, close enough that it was simple to get there and back, but far enough that it was away from the noise. The atmosphere is relaxed and the entire place is quiet. The pool and Jacuzzi are large and relaxing. One complaint, however, is that the bar closed at 10:00 on a Saturday night.

Very good location. Friendly staff, rooms are very nice with good accommodations. However I booked a room with only a king size bed and I ended up getting a room with 2 Queens and they said it was because they overbooked their king size rooms, one flaw was they could accommodate that but overall I would stay there again.

This hotel is great! At check in I asked how many beds our room had and we were immediately comped a suite! The room was spacious, clean and had very comfortable beds.

Location was convenient. Close to freeway and right in from of harbor. Rooms were nice, but my parents room was supposed to be a non-smoking and it smelling like an ashtray. The woman who helped us was very friendly and thorough. The only bad thing we experienced was 3 older men coming back around 11pm, highly intoxicated and fighting in the lobby. The women at the front counter called security right away, so I didn't feel unsafe at all. Overall, a pleasant overnight.

Right off the harbor. Great place to stay if you're going on a dive trip. I just walked from the boat to my room. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.

Check in was smooth, rooms were clean and bif with great view. Good location for a nice walk to the Harbor Village with restaurant choices.

It was a good place to be. I came for a Conference and the facilities were good. The food was also delicious.

I was given this room when I visited for a wedding. This hotel was highly talked about. First of all I got a room that was in the outdoor section of the hotel, my key didn't work I had to go to the office 3 times because my keys would not open my door. Finally when I get in and go to the bathroom, I realized that in the bathroom the screen window was torn, so the walls in the bathroom were covered in flies! So badly that the walls looked black! It was awful! Now I'm getting married and my venue booked a room for me and my future husband at this hotel and I immediately changed which hotel we would be staying at.

We frequently stay here coming and going from San Diego. We've made friends with the staff and they always find a way to accommodate us. Once we even got a 2 bedroom suite because it was the only room available for the same price as a room. The rooms are fine. Always clean and comfy. The restaurant is great and the wait staff recognizes us and go way over the top to be helpful and accommodating and the breakfast is always excellent. Four Points is a trusted stopover for us and has never disappointed us. We love walking around the marina to the beautiful beach for some exercise and have found a few pleasant local restaurants for a quick dinner before heading back to relax in our room. You won't be disappointed staying at Four Points! Ken Hudson.

The ladies behind the front desk are amazing and very caring. The hotel hidden fees were bothersome. When I booked it, I should've been told that there was a parking fee. I can tell there is good intention to make it a great place, just not worth the price. Next time I know where to stay.

Decent experience. Not impressed, not very disappointed. Interior and property a bit dated, front desk staff helpful but wait staff was a bit rude. Beautiful area, though.

We stayed 6 nights. The front desk is great. Very nice and very helpful. The hotel itself is old, outdated and dirty. Room with a view comes with loud loading dock underneath. Disappointing. Will never come back.

This place is great. We like to come for Easter and love the brunch they provide. We had a view of the marina, and the beds are sooooo comfortable. I'm telling you, the feel of the place is outstanding. You get a great value for you money. We will be returning soon and look very forward to it. *My daughter loved the jacuzzi, it's kind of indoor.

I love this hotel. It is close (walking distance) to the marina. Restaurants and beaches, we well as a short drive from anything you need. The staff is friendly and the rooms are (Four Points standard) clean and quiet. They have a great Sunday brunch; the rest of the menu presents well, but is nothing to write home about.

GREAT Hotel, Fast Free Internet, Friendly, Clean, Spacious, Great Spa, Hot Tub, Pool, Patios, ect. Only one complaint, The food from the restaurant was Awful! Worse than Fast food. It tastes like TV Dinners. Great place to stay but skip the food and go to one of the area restaurants.

A wonderful place, very good and excellent location. First class facilities.

What are the requirements to work with you.

This place was horrible and when I asked to speak to the Gen. Mgr. Victor Dollar they made me wait 45 minutes in the lobby and they never contacted him. I am the wife of an Esophageal Stage 3 Cancer Survivor and I have never witness such an embarrassing experience. They have an Arrogant Oper. Mgr named Stephanie and she's on a power trip and after I told her she did not represent her employer very well and was completely incompetent. In rebute, she retaliated and cancelled a 3-day pre-paid reservation, and now I am battling with Amex now since you cannot cancel a reservation, and they did anyways. If that wasn't bad enough, My husband and daughter repacked luggage for a 4 day and looked at other lodging options and chose a hotel close to the one I was asked to leave from, so I prepaid online the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, and again put all the luggage on a VALET, wheeled it into the lobby, only to be told I was banned from that hotel also from this Operations Manager, who clearly needs anger management counseling. HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS was truly apologetic and I did not blame them for the actions of their sister-hotel Four Points Sheraton. We ended up paying over $70. PER night or $210. More and what was to be an original attempt to check into a hotel at 2PM check ended up being 6:20PM before we found other lodging.

Wonderful hotel. Great rooms that are clean and spacious. Beds are wonderful! The restaurant and bar at the hotel also offer awesome service! Our balcony faced the harbor ao we could stare at fancy boats. LOVED thiz place.

Comfortable stay. But don't forget anything when you check out. Staff there doesn't believe in return belongings to owner policy. I forgot a couple of suits when I checked out. Called on the same day and the receptionist took a lost/found request and I was told that they will get back. Never heard back of course. When I called back 3 days later the receptionist remembered my previous call, stated she tried to call me (funny no missed call or message from the hotel no). Of course they did not find my suits that I left. I travel a lot and occasional has forgotten items in the hotel room when I checked out. Staff of these other hotels of course returned the items to be when I contacted then and on some instance have contacted me. Obviously this is not the case at this hotel.
