This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was more like a travel lodge.

If you are a corporate clients maybe they value your patronage over a traveling nurse I have moved 3 times the first time for leak in ceiling; second time room not so clean third time I have to poor water in the toilet and today all I need is a tub stopper to soak after a long day maintenance is unable to accommodate I have contacted the manger, supervisor and corporate in 4 weeks and no one has had anything to say!

After working a 14 hour shift in the ER I had a room set up by the employer. I travel and work in different ER’s. They would not give me my room because I didn’t have the credit card my company used to book the room. I just drove in from Santa Barbara straight to work a 14 hour shift. I just wanted my room to sleep because I have to be back in the ER at 6am.
Finally after I got my room key and access card for the building (which happened to be on the other side of the hotel, I get there and my card key does not work to get into the building. I go back and let them know the key did not work, the response I get was “oh that door is not working and is not operational “
“You have to use the other one on the far end of the building “
This could have been told to me when I was checked in. Not after walking the span of the hotel, then back to the lobby to walk back even further to use the door that really worked.
The girls at the front desk where very rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend this to anyone or any companies in for business trips.

🚨 LONG POST ALERT 🚨 ✈️ On Thursday we traveled to Bakersfield, Ca to attend our Uncles funeral. We booked our hotel stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bakersfield and to our dismay this is the room that we were given. For $189.00 USD + tax a night, we expected more.
💳 The check in process was smooth, we were put on the second floor and we journeyed on with our luggage. SURPRISE — there’s no elevator! Now I don’t mind the stairs but we couldn’t have the seniors of the family carrying their luggage and walking two flights of stairs.
🚶🏾So we returned to the lobby to be given 1st floor room accommodations. We walked inside our rooms and look what we were expected to pay for, sleep on, walk on, drink from, inhale heavy urine aroma, etc.
📸 We couldn’t believe our eyes so we took out our phones and began to take photos.
(It’s the BOX FAN for me)
🚶🏾So we walked back to the lobby to inform them that we simply didn’t feel safe and we needed a full refund. We were informed that we would receive a full refund within 24 hours (it didn’t happen).
🚙 💨 We immediately left and booked at a different hotel.
☎️📧I’ve emailed & called the names & phone number on the business card and haven’t received any response.
💳 AMEX was so gracious & refunded my card within minutes.

I had the most wonderful experience here. Me and my boyfriend ate at The Bistro, attached to the Four points. The customer service was excellent! I never waited for a drink for too long and they always kept my water cup full. Besides the amazing drinks, the food was delicious. I had a house salad which was refreshing and had quite a spin. The steak was made exactly how I liked it and was so delicious (the garlic butter sauce is to die for). If you are in Bakersfield and looking for a nice place to eat, good atmosphere and excellent service this is your place.

A very nice somewhat older property a couple miles off the 99. Very large, comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant adjacent. Buy rooms on Priceline and get a bargain.

The area where it is located is nice. The lobby and halls were clean and well kept. Our room was clean and spacious. The service was outstanding. The hotel and our stay exceeded our expectations.

It was a nice location and the lobby is really nice so I was expecting the rooms to be very nice as well. We got to our first floor room which was spacious but we found a red spider in the bed. When we looked to see where it could have come from there was another one dead in the corner.

Really nice hotel. Clean, bright rooms. Nice pool. My only complaint is the key cards weren't working and couldn't get in our room or the pool without it. Kept having to get a new one a couple times. But other than that it was very pleasant.

This hotel is very nice for the price! It is very clean when walking in at the lobby, the halls are maintained well as well and the rooms I was in was great. The room was very tidy, clean, spacious and it had a free water bottle with coffee and tea. The bathrooms are also very clean, I would definitely stay here again. The staff was nice helpful and check in was a breeze. The pool is also very nice although there was quite some kids which make it a bit loud, but it’s family time for them I guess so it’s still nice!

Came here to drop off an Uber eats. Walked in and asked the front desk how to reach the room the quickest. She was very polite and gave me very easy and accurate instructions and then said she would call the room and let them know I'm on my way. 5 stars for staff help.

The stay was fair. I had to call the front desk due to screaming next door last hours, and I would have appreciated signage in the hallways or on the backs of doors to remind people to be mindful of other guests who may Have been sleeping. I was woken both days at 730 am. When on a working vacation, good sleep is Essential. I was told my second story room would have a patio, it did not, and I found everything else to be fair. Front of house was very nice. I liked it, but I think I would try another place before coming back here again.

When booking my reservation the associate explained that I could have a roll away bed to accommodate my group. After booking, ubering across town, and authorizing my card the front desk call my room to advise that they could provide a roll away do to policy. This leaves me deciding whether I or my grandfather will be sleeping on the floor tonight. Less than pleased, I called the number attached email confirmation and after explaining the situation the representative hang up on while attempting to transfer. Less than a pleased customer : (

The restaurant is delicious! The hotel is really quiet and comfy! The price is not on the lower end but great for what you are offered.

The Four Points by Sheraton Bakersfield was a reasonably priced property that had above average amenities. The beds are comfortable and the grounds are lovely. I do wish that they had included a full breakfast buffet every day. I would have really enjoyed having one on Sunday (especially a nice brunch) before I needed to leave because there were no cafes nearby that served a wholesome and filling breakfast. (I finally found a Broken Yolk Cafe using Yelp that was on my route home. ) Given that this property has a dining room and a large parking lot, they should consider making it a Sunday brunch destination for locals.

Nice and responsive front desk staff. Quaint little center area. Try and get on the second floor. If you're on the first floor you can hear the people above you walk all night.

The location was convenient. The room was clean. The room couldn't get as cold as I would have liked. It was nice and quiet and the rate was super good.

Attended a workshop at Four Points by Sheraton today. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions and the meeting room was well stocked with water, snacks, support items and an attendant. My family stayed here once about 8 years ago and both this visit and our earlier stay were great. Clean and friendly, can't ask for more.

Chose to stay here instead of motel 6 payed a little more thinking the rooms would be well kept and hotel would be nice. Instead the room smelled of mold then I go into the bathroom and find a roach on the floor nasty. Customers service 5 stars checking in the hotel but room 2 stars scared to sleep in the bed.

Wonderful hotel fit business trips. I come hear very often for them. The location is off the beaten path just enough for solitude and sleep, yet close enough to amenities to make food and entertainment simple. The staff is friendly; with quick check-ins. Usually the rooms are well kept and have comfortable beds and linens. The last time I visited I had a problem with the linens my first night, however the staff replaced them; there's a first time for everything.

Usually have a pleasant stay at Four Points, but the room I was given had a dirty toilet. Black ring at waterline, no joke. Contacted their people about it and we are good now. I would give them a second chance for customer service.

Great rooms. Lots of hotel property. Bistro is legit. Very quiet. Very safe. Very secure. Pool Hot tub Newspaper Parking. Close to banks, gas stations, and bars.

It's an older hotel. It's not bad but the beds are so soft I rolled into my husband all night. Linens and room are clean but some stains on curtains and comforters/carpets. It's not a bad place to stay and would stay again but I'll definitely bring my own pillows.

It's good. If you have to be in Bakersfield, this is the place to do it. They'll take care of you well without robbing you on check-out!

Nice rooms especially the ground floor ones. Good bathroom space. Ample parking. Has a heated pool. Carpets are a bit dirty though.

Older hotel, but rooms are clean and spacious. Check in was efficient. Courtyard area around the pool was very beautiful. No elevators for this 2 story hotel.

Good service. Very clean rooms. Microwave and mini fridge available. Plenty of towels. Shampoo, conditioner, gel dispenser in shower with good water pressure. Location is easy to get to and parking wasn't trouble from the room. Nice view of pool and fountains.

The rooms and beds were nice and the area behind the hotel was just beautiful. Would definitely stay again. There's a lot of places within walking distance and the staff was very polite.

Horrible costumer service and our room had an overpowering smell of cleaning supplies. Was charged an additional $200 for smoking in room which we did not do! Left 3 messages with Laura, the manager, to dispute charge and she has yet to return my call. I will never stay or recommend to anyone. If I wanted to spend $339 on a room I definitely would have chosen a nicer hotel!

Needed a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. My room's refrigerator did not have one. They really went out of their way to find one from another room and switch it with the one in my room. Without a roll of the eyes or a deep sigh of inconvenience. Im usually not this high maintenance, but this time I didn't want to go without. They were great about accommodating.

Have only stayed there in transit from Las Vegas to San Francisco for one. Clean hotel, unfortunately just a bit old. Breakfast was delicious!

I love this hotel! The beds are so comfortable. The rooms are always clean and the staff is friendly.

The breakfast was good. Nice and cozy rooms, clean. Very soft beds. But there is no shop and no shop, so water, drinks or something necessary to buy in advance on the road.

The rooms are spacious and to the water pressure in the shower is especially nice. Overall it's a good choice for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Great food at the Bistro, comfortable beds, clean pool, very friendly staff. The lack of a fifth star is because the ac is kind of loud, the stopper in my tub is broken so I can't soak and my curtains simply won't close all the way. They come close but I had to pull one over the other and push a chair against them to hold them closed.

Carpets and curtains were stained, but it got the job done. I slept comfortably. Or as best I could.

For the Price & Location they should offer at the very least a free continental breakfast, but they don't even offer that. Marriott down the street offers the works, they should honor the competition, it's not all that.

Great place to hold a seminar hospitality very good temperature in building atmosphere was wonderful combinations coffee water iced tea was great I would do it again and recommend many people if I was to ask two.

Well I was here once before liked it but older hotel and you get what you pay for… that being said this time we called in advance asked for early check in for a wedding we were attending the staff said no problem but then said sorry the room are not ready and lied to my brother in law then said cleaning crew on lunch (for 2 1/2 hours? ) whatever called the corp office they did not care? Wow what service never had a problem with Hampton or holiday inn hotels no wonder they know to make customers happy not this Sheraton inn If you have an option don't stay here not worth the trouble.

Not interested in staying here ever again. The rooms were clean, but the rest of the hotel is not. Grounds were covered in overgrown leaves, their attempt at fountains and ponds smelled like mildew. The buildings where the rooms are located do not lock until 11pm… didn't feel secure and safe. The breakfast buffet was unkempt and pretty sure they reheated Monday's buffet for Tuesday morning… yuck! Sheraton should be ashamed they have their name on this place.

Building is a bit dated But the rooms are nice. Instead of shampoo and body wash bottles there is a mounted pump like at the gym, and ours of course was out of shampoo and body wash. The television turned on but the main menu and the channels such as HBO did not work.

Perfect! My room was amazing, great bed and pillows, the room was so clean. Which was a relief considering the night before I stayed in Susanville at the (Red Lion Inn, which was horrible in every aspect accept there little on the go breakfast. ) The rooms service was fast my dinner was so amazing. My steak cooked perfectly with steamed vegetables that still had crunch and those potatoes. My drink was poured just the way I asked for it, which never happens. Breakfast was the same way. Room service at this Four Points by Sheraton ROCKS!

The hotel is a nice Sheraton hotel, and is located near several food choices in walking distance. Also, there is a running/walking path relatively nearby. Overall the rooms are clean and quiet, although slightly dated with design. Also, no elevator are available, but you only need to go up one set of stairs. The center courtyard of the hotel is a great place to relax, with a pool and hot tub. Overall this is a nice hotel to stay at.

When you hear so much shit stories about a town but end up getting the best service ever from your accomodation. In my opinion Four Points by Sheraton is the ultimate accomodation. Friendly staff, great location, awesome facilities and all round top joint.

Well yesterday evening staff was much more friendly and efficient. Just spent the last 30 minutes in the lobby watching an inefficient front desk. Was waiting for that fresh pot of regulars coffee that was being brewed as the several staff members walking through spoke of as that all said it "only takes 5 minutes". Here's a hint to the management, your front desk staff this morning let down not just you, but more important ever one of those that; come down for coffee, come down to check out and had to wait, come down to ask the manager who had a cup of coffee in his hand about the shuttle that you didn't have a driver for. FYI… service, makes a business hotel, the staff this morning should be all sent back training.

Very nice rooms and facilities, plenty of wall outlets and all of the usual accommodations, plus mouthash and wall mounted soap dispensers. Pool was lukewarm and occupied by 30 people, but it was 104° so it was reasonable haha.

By far the worst place not because the hotel but because of the employees in the laundry area my mother worked here and was treated with little respect by other employees and don't get me started on the manager Nimba or something like that she's racist and discriminates Hispanic employees something needs to be done here and if the employees there are afraid to speak up well I'm not I'm sticking up for my mom because this is not fair and I hope she gets fired because if she can't handle people the right way then she shouldn't be fit for a manager and trust me its going to change.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place! Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms as well as common spaces. The pool area outside was well maintained.

Stayed here overnight on my way to Las Vegas. Quick check-in and comfortable rooms. Wifi was pretty good. Has an on-site restaurant which had pretty good breakfast.

Nice hotel in the heart of bakersfield. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Amber helped make special accommodation's for me that made me feel very welcome. The location is beautiful. The rooms, while sanitary, could use more frequent deep cleaning. The curtains were dusty and there were some stains in the carpet, chair and lampshade. The restaurant was great. Cheap drinks, good foof and great service. I'll definitely use the four points next time I need to come to bakersfield. If they did a little more deep cleaning it would perfect.

The hotel was nice. Check in was easy. The room was clean and had a nice window. Mini fridge was cool as all hotels don't have them.

Rooms were very spacious, clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and informative. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud.

No HDMI on tv. No breakfast. You hear every noise from the rooms around you. You can do better.

Good location, not so clean rooms, ok staff, keys stopped working after day one. Love the 24hr gym. But the rooms are awkwardly separated from main lobby and no elevator in the buildings. It took me 20 minutes to find my room, better instruction from staff would have been helpful.

For a business — oriented hotel, it sure is hard to get much done when the Wi-Fi boots you off all the time. Very unreliable and slow when it does work. Plus the in room coffee maker was gross and breakfast is an expensive extra. Get it together Sheraton! Nice room, but too many problems.

The staff is nice and helpful. They moved my room. The person in the room next to me was listening to the TV pretty loud, that and I think the walls are pretty thin. The room they moved me to had a dead cockroach on the floor. Now I'm concerned.

We had a great stay. We vote Sarah G. Employee of the decade, she was so helpful and professional. Asked for additional towels and when room was cleaned, the additional towels re-appeared without further request. That is very unusual and most appreciated. While we love Sarah, congratulate all staff as very warm and friendly. First class operation.

We are returning to four points hotel for our second stay and look forward to the clean rooms and excellent customer service. We really enjoyed the late night swim and jaccuzzi after our long exhausting day and a vigorating workout in the excercise room which had an HD TV to watch while we wound down for the night. This is the kind of place that you remember having a pleasant experience and never consider another place when you return year after year. P. S. Anyway that we can check in early.

I enjoyed staying here in May 2013. Ashley at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. After a long day of driving, it was so nice to have someone so pleasant check me into my room. The room was nice. Comfortable bed (rare in hotels), good water pressure in shower, and the TV was excellent. The best feature of the room was the patio. I love the large glass door leading out to the patio, and the nice view of the pool area from the patio. It's a great place to spend time in the morning and evening. Loved it. I will be back to this hotel because of the beautiful pool area, great hot tub, and the patio.

I love this place! I feel safe, and its beautiful. The staff is wonderful! I stay quite often its clean quiet and the Bistro is very good! This is the only place in Bakersfield ill stay and would recommend to others as well Amber.
