We needed a room for 3 to stay in for a few nights and we found this for a pretty cheap price online. The associates at the front desk are really nice and very helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioner not working well and the lights in our bathroom started to dim and flicker so the night associate changed our room to one that was way cooler. The cold water knob in the shower was messed up though and you need to push it in to turn it off and on. The location is not too bad and there are a ton of food places and gas stations nearby which is helpful because none of the vending machines on site work. The room is big enough for what we needed and we got two queen sized beds which worked out perfect for us. The beds were firm but comfortable and the pillows were pretty nice. It is clean and for the most part well kept except for a few issues here and there. For the price, I can't complain too much. They do have breakfast which is cereal, oatmeal and toast and they also serve milk, coffee and orange juice.

Nice sized and rooms in a quieter environment. The pricing is a medium to other motels in the area. I recommend you join the Wyndham rewards program which automatically gives you 10% off the regular standard rates and if you stay here often you can get points for free rooms, late/early check-ins, etc. The staff here behind the desk are awesome! Donna and Alex are super helpful and they go the extra mile for their customers. The maids are mostly nice too but I feel they leave a lot undone in the rooms which could use closer attention paid to them. Towels are an issue here! If you stain them they will charge you. They never seem to keep these rooms stocked in the first place and if the think you took a towel they don't take it out of the $25 deposit which will be held for days after your stay, they will charge your card whatever price the deem right, like $56 for two towels and two wash cloths, however I defy you to find two wash cloths in any room. On to deposits. If you decide to stay more than one day on the fly, be prepared to pay ANOTHER deposit. They will not or cannot transfer that deposit to the new day. It's like little Christmas again as your deposits arrive back in your bank acct.

Except the fact that their back door is left open all the time and the window on it is shattered. I loved my stay and all other aspects of it. Room is huge and clean. Beds are comfy. And the location is very quiet which I liked. Front desk staffs are all very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend anyone to stay here, it’s a good value.

I enjoy my stay here. It’s pretty quiet, the employees are kind, and the rooms are comfortable. Has a coffee maker and blow dryer in room. I did stay in one room I was disappointed in (the carpet was so filthy & the phone was missing) but that was just one time. I think it really depends on what room you get if you’ll enjoy your stay or not. Some rooms are up to par some aren’t… Would I stay here if I could afford better? Probably not. However it is a low budget friendly motel. Some rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Some don’t. It’s worth it pretty much either way. 30-45$ a night is cheap compared to most other places. Motel 6 used to be my cheap go to but they are getting ridiculous with the amount of rules they have. This place is a little less uptight.

No towels. The carpet was disgusting, you would not want to walk around barefoot. Out side was dirty. Somebody had throw up off the balcony (that's not the inns fault but it was gross) and it had dried on to the side of the building. Everything seems pretty dirty except maybe the counters. The breakfast was cold cereal or oatmeal, That's it. They keep telling us they will have towels in the soon but the time keeps on changing and we all waiting around to simply take a shower.

Days Inn is a very nice Hotel to stay in. The staff are polite and helpful. They have a continental breakfast. The rooms are clean and affordable also. They have a variety of rooms to choose from. Just remember that when you pay your deposit it is $25 if you are paying with a bank card and you will receive your deposit back after 10-25 days, that's if your room is up to part. If you have to pay in cash then you will pay a deposit of $250 and you will receive that at the time of your check out, that's if your room is up to part. Enjoy your stay at Days Inn.

I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We literally checked in at 3:30 AM and out at 5:20 AM. It’s filthy. There were holes in the wall, had a horrid smell, the door wouldn’t even latch shut I had to deadbolt it in order to keep the door shut. Both my daughter and I were nervous and couldn’t sleep. The bed was old, lumpy and squeaky. There was 1 towel and 1 wash cloth in the room. We had to park on a poorly paved empty lot and come through a side security gate to get to our room. The gate didn’t even latch shut. I will no longer stay at a Days Inn.

A mess! Mushroom on the walls, mattresses with holes, pillows with speckles. No elevator. He doesn't deserve to call himself a hotel.

Positively the room price of 55 USD, a nice big room, free breakfast, quite clean bed and bathroom, a friendly receptionist, free parking at the door and an Ice Cube machine (which should be standard here everywhere) was negative of the Cold whirlpool, everywhere broken or patched doors, walls and corners, very noisy and musty smelling air conditioning, too small bathtub and a clearly too weak hot water jet. Overall, there is an urgent need for full refurbishment. In addition, the Windows should be cleaned again urgently. Clean windows are an important business card.

OK for one night, but no more. Room OK. Pool not bad either. Many rooms are not available and look demolished. We had a good breakfast.

This hotel is horrible. Lobby staff was rude and walked off mid sentence. The vending machine was broken, the lobby computers were broken, the bathroom fan in our room was broken, the in-room coffee maker wad broken, and the juice machine at breakfast was broken. Everything is in terrible condition and seems it will never get repaired. There was dog food left on the carpet from the previous guest's pets. Even the television reception was terrible. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that they have hot water and a bed that you can sleep on.

Even though it didn't show in pictures, the room was a bit worn and dingy. It smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. It's fine for a night and one of the least expensive in the area.

This hotel is definitely in need of a serious remodel. The landscaping around the hotel is seriously neglected. Tall weeds and grass. Dirty all around. And to get into and out of the side entrances of the hotel you have to use a locked gate keypad both coming into and going out. Its like a prison. I would not recommend staying here. 2 years ago it was hotel of the year in this city. Now it a run down dump. What happened?

No towels in rooms, holes in the walls, can't go out on patio if downstairs, room had no phone, coffee maker didn't work and never got one that did the entire week we stayed. Shower drain didn't drain… Bed had a mammoth size sink hole in it. Some major issues on "policies" depending on who is working the front desk. Most employees were friendly and tried their best to help. EXCEPT for one. I believe she is or was the assistant manager. Maria if I remember correctly. Anyway she's by far the rudest person I've ever met. Definite power trips and needs a new job. One dealing with only herself. On a good note… the oatmeal was good.

We have stayed only one night at $40 and after a few days we have charged five more nights! And for the moment they give me no solution.

The rooms are of nice size, though I cannot say the same for the dining area. There is only one toaster and when everyone wants toast it is hard to get without being yelled at. During my stay I made four pieces of toast and when I went to make two more (I was with my whole family) a women asks "is this for real". Though I do think she was just a natural b*tch. I do think if their dining area was more varied then the whole encounter could have been avoided.

Motel pathetic, despite having booked through Booking there were some problems to get the room. Room shabby and not clean, fan-coil dismantled. Hand-delivered towels. At the front desk hateful guy! Gate with combination where the keyboard was completely in the dark. I would never go back to this motel!

Is the worst place they have bed bugs do not stay there is the most horrible place have bedbugs and they do not care not to stay there.

Our stay was comfortable and convenient. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, decorated well, and the king-size bed and pillows were plush. The room had a balcony which overlooked the huge pool and jacuzzi. Close to the hotel was Sizzler's, Camelot, and Logan's for food, fun, and drinks. We enjoyed our short stay.

Good hotel, very good location in the heart of the restaurants, shops and close to the main roads (far enough to hear no noises).

I would love to give them 0 stars “”HORRIBLEEE HOTEL”” (even ugly is a compliment). Do yourself a favor and do not stay here, dirty carpet, dirty bed, cockroach and I didn’t feel safe. For $20 dollars more your can stay in a new a nice hotel.

Nice hotel and good value for money. There is a swimming pool, which is pretty nice. The staff greeted us well.

When I first arrived there, the place was surrounded by police cars. The days inn doesn't offer refunds so we had to stay or lose our money. We asked for a NON Smoking room, our first room smelled like an ash tray and our new room didn't like it, it smelled weird we asked for top floor it was ground floor but we delt with it. The first night we had about two hours of sleep due to the upstairs neighbors banging on the floor, screaming and fighting. Pretty sure it got physical due to the blood curling screams coming from upstairs, the staff didn't do anything till hours later and they still didn't stop, the police had to come. It simmered down for a bit then started up with stomping. The staff did NOTHING. We politely asked for clean sheets come back to the same sheets as before. AC is broken it blows out hot air, staff didn't bother with it. Housekeeping just barges in without knocking and if they do knock it's once and open the door right after, they don't even wait for you to respond. NEVER GOING BACK, not even if you paid me too.

Great last minute deal. 45 minute walk from the Rabobank Arena. Includes a minimal continental breakfast. Close to almost every fast food chain imaginable and Hwy 99. High points include a well maintained pool and a 'hot' tub that wasn't hot but rather a refreshing relief from sun bathing. Also, standard checkout is at 12pm. Very will to extend it to 1pm but not past that without a fee.

Only ok because there was no fridge and no microwave. Had to leave my daughter's milk in ice hoping that was good enough. The room was clean and the employees were very polite and understanding. They were not rude or rushing me out as I checked out late.

To avoid absolutely unless you are in a tour operator and you have to follow guide and your bus you will have no choice but to go to this hotel very grimy
In some rooms it lacks microwave facilities other The soap is really the minimum one or two and especially then this is very serious and very important in this hotel there are what are called cockroaches.
The pool is rather room The spa does not work in the month it is in a really grimy condition the water is cold no maintenance.
At the reception it's not terrible either not very well attended in the surroundings.
There are condoms and various room things in some rooms here I thought important to prevent and publish this notice because falling into this hotel without being personally warned I would have been really angry that no one looks done.

This place was probably one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The staff was super friendly and did her best to help us. So I give her 4 stars for that. When my group got to our room turns out there was no towels in anywhere to use. So I immediately called front desk to get towels. Waiting about 20 minutes. And finally went to the front desk. She was helping two more guests before me so I waited patiently that was about another 15 to 20 minutes. Finally it eas my turn it turns out they didn't have any towels ready however they have pool towels so I took two to use for the time being. Eventually after we left our room that was a good hour to an hour and a half someone finally brought us towels.

Much nicer than I was expecting. Outside looked a little seedy with tall grass and weeds But inside was very nice: clean, modern, spacious, very thick towels, and everything worked perfectly. Friendly staff Definitely recommend.

My husband and I were on a road trip and needed to stop in Bakersfield for the night. As soon as we pulled up to Days Inn I knew that it was nothing like the pictures I had seen. The place was extremely run down. Glass was busted out of doors and there were holes in the ceiling. There was a gate to some of the property that was clearly placed there to keep some people out. The parking lot was full of people loitering. We felt completely unsafe. We returned the key immediately and got the heck out of there!

I was loyal to this place and even paid for homeless people to stay there so they could feel normal for a bit. I was even willing to invest money in this place but the way they treated me and banned me just for wanting my last name corrected after they decided to change it and the attitude of some of the staff was disgusting. Unfortunately I am forced in good conscience from advertising for this place because they have been found lacking in my opinion. ANA Wescott.

Pool water is green, pool is closed in the extreme heat. The guest computer is closed, the Wi-Fi will not connect. The continental breakfast is decent and well stocked. The room was roomy and clean. If you are a non smoker never settle for a smoking room, they smell horrible, and no air freshener is available, and in the extreme heat it's too hot to open the sliding glass door to the balcony. If you like bowling it is walking distance, right behind the Inn. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Rating would've been higher if the pool was open.

The staff is quite quick, the rooms are acceptable although the bathroom floor was in bad shape. Poor breakfast. Good for one night to switch to other destinations.

Kind of creepy looking arriving at night… moved the car under a light. Rain across a couple roaches in outside walkway. Mildew in the bathroom. Outside appearance generally rundown.

Where do I even start with this place? Well 1st off I travel for my work so I figured this would be a decent place to stay. Had good luck with Days Inn in the past so this should be OK. Not so much. NBA games on regular TV should be a gimme, Nope. Not here. Big hotel, 1 vending machine, out of order. Shower barely a trickle. And all this for an original price of $99 after tax. Which they reduced to $69 after bringing to light the many flaws. I'm almost scared to see what their idea of breakfast is.

Hall banquet was nice as far as the way it was decorated. But it lags rest rooms only one bathroom each for both men and women the lock didn't work so someone walk in on me thank God I was already finished. I didn't like that it had two separate rooms some guests had to seat in the other room, which guests was compain that it was hot. Other than that I enjoy myself due to the fax good company and very good Dj.

Room 297 — 4/16/2016 Stayed here with my husband and two kids (boy 4/girl 9). At first sight, it was mediocre. Nothing wow. We were only staying one night and it was a good price. Not until 1030 at night came. Saw a cockroach crawling by the TV! A damn cockroach! I yelled for my husband and he trapped it alive under a Gatorade bottle. Called the front desk and she said they will switch us rooms. Okay. So we are packing our stuff up (mind you, my son was already asleep so we had to wake him up) and then ANOTHER COCKROACH by the nightstand between our beds! Wtf?! And then another was found. And then a baby one by the tv. We packed our stuff so fast to put in the car and while walking out through the hallways, there were a bunch scattered on the ground! Never in my life have I ever gone through this (traveled a lot for cheer) and I felt bad for my children. We need to be up at out the room at 7am for my daughter's cheer competition. Went to the front desk and let her know that we did not want to switch rooms and wanted to be refunded. She was very nice about it. So expedia will be getting a call Monday. At this moment, it is 12am and we are all comfortable in a suite at the Extended Stay (even if it's just for the next 7 hours). Never, will we ever, book cheap at all. Not even if it's for one night! You get what you pay for. Now I can honestly live by that when it comes it rooms!

I had an extended stay here for a business trip. I regret having made a reservation at this hotel. I encountered cockroaches in my room, had an ac unit that blew air that wreaked of dirty feet (probably mold in the filter), a shower that had absolutely no functioning temperature control in the shower, went from burning me to ice water without touching knob. And to top it off a person was stabbed to death in the parking lot, and two cars windows were shattered/looted during my stay. Would not come back, would not recommend.

Our stay at the Bakersfield Day's Inn was rather disappointing. The facility was clean and relatively well maintained. Breakfast options were fresh and varied. Unfortunately, the other guests made our stay less than stellar overall.

OUr stay wasnt the problem, it was when we checked out that was the problem. I went to collect our $100.00 deposit that was requested upon check-in, and after 15mins of waiting for them to get back to me, the front desk notified me that they were not returning my deposit due to small amount of ink stains that were left on the sheets. No problem, the sign in the bathroom posted said, the amount of cost of items to be charged if items were not there upon check out. The price stated for a set of sheets was $20.00. The manager was called out and the housekeeper was not only rude, but it was what she said to me that made me call and file a complaint with coorprate of Days Inn. She said, "These sheets are ruined and if you had more deposit, I would take more then the 100.00! " I found this to be very unperfessional, and quite rude. The manager stood there the whole time and never said a word about the situation. I find this to be a plain rip off and in no way deserved to taken advantage of of my money.

Great place to stay. My 2nd stay… because "Lucy" was so accommodating last time and she took such good care of us again this time. Clean, and a great breakfast. Highly recommend it.

Can't use sliding glass door site gave option for crib but no option actually exists. Floor was nasty not cleaned well.

I stayed there they had bed bugs and. I am full of bumbs all over my body. They moved us to another room and I was still getting bumbs from bites. I asked for my money back for 5 nights and they wouldnt refund it. They said that they would only refund me for one night. The girl in the front desk acted very rude when I told her I wanted my money back making faces and stuff like that. Really dissapointed. I was working night shift. Did not get any rest at all.

Cheap, but so are several other motels in the area. I will definitely be trying one of the others next time. The room did not have a fridge and microwave as was stated on the website. The lady at the front desk said they're upon request so I waited an hour for the maintenance man to bring them. The TV has no sound and I have now been waiting for over an hour and a half for the maintenance man to come take a look at it.

Ice vending machine was broken for us. Cheap and convenient, close to highway, still available while others not. May have safety concerns in some circumstances.

Is a very convenient place to stop in your way up/down thru the highway. Is very close to the highway and is cheap and fine for one night. The room was well equipped with microwave, freezer, hair dryer, desktop. The only but is that some stuff was really aged.

Was unhappy with the stay I reserved two rooms, and were not reserved as requested. The beds were the worst to sleep in and rooms smelled like smoke, when u requested non — smoking, along with downstairs pool side did not receive anything we requested. Staff was inattentive. I've stayed in days in in the past and this was the WORST.

Check in was quick and easy. However the did not provide directions or a map to where my room was. The room seemed clean but I did not do a white glove inspection. The bathroom had some issues. The show curtain rod was bent down so the shower curtain kept opening up. The shower head needed cleaning bad. I needed to say and extra night and it was taken care of quickly however the employee has his ear phones in with his music turned up loud and was very unprofessional.

I was in there last night (09.05). There Was no bugs. Room was clean, bathroom also. Pool is big, but need cleaning. It was nice to have green grass and palms behind the window. I would stay there again.

I've been staying in this particular location every month for the past couple months and sometimes even twice month, and never had anything bad to say until my last stay there. Went out for dinner and returned to my room door open and not one person was able to give me an explanation. I was very disappointed, I asked to speak to the manager or any supervisor on site and all I received was a promise to be contacted by the manager that I never received! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

ROACHES unless you like em stay away Had the biggest roach I seen in my life crawling across the ceiling.

Great deal, great room with a mini fridge and nice beds. Continental breakfast is a plus. Best hotel this vacation.

I don't know where these other reviewers stayed but it was not here. It was dirty, moldy, and our shower water was YELLOW for a solid minute when we turned it on. All of the furniture in our room was damaged and not properly cleaned. I've stayed in much nicer $35/night hotels. This place is not worth your time or sanity for $66.
