Only been here one night. Working on night two. So far so good. People are loud but ok. I like it. Comfy bed. Nice big tub.

Very comfy king bed with sofa, with kitchen suite on ground level facing the courtyard & pool. Quiet area with no traffic noise. Very friendly & helpful staff. Would stay here again! Staff was very accommodating.

This hotel manager refused to refund my room I could not use due to my daddy dying 2 days before my reservation. How sad to be that greedy you can't have compassion and grace to make an exception while I'm dealing with the loss of my daddy. Shame on you manager April and staff. I'd avoid this hotel for this refusal to cancel my reservation.

It was nice and peaceful.

They can improve by being flexible with their customers and honor their contract for weddings. They did not allow me to postpone or reduce guest size according to the national and Government guidelines due to the pandemic, therefore my wedding was horrible. All they cared about was their money. They did not honor the ceremony agreement with the paid decorations. They ruined my cake. The hotel room was horrible. Crimes have happened their prior to the wedding. The bartender wanted to close down an hour and half earlier due to not enough people there and he isn’t making tips. I had the placed paid for until 9pm. My friends ended giving the bartender $150 to stay longer. Just sad that I reported everything snd they did nothing because they had to shut down the next day. I can go on but I do not recommend them.

This is how it looked when I checked in this evening. I pulled back the sheets to check for bed bugs but everything else was horribly dirty. This place is a dump and should be closed down immediately. Ended up spending MORE money changing hotels. I’m upset and disappointed. I work in the hospitality industry so I know this is unacceptable.

Room was very dirty. Requested a new room and it was worse than the first. Staff was really rude. Went in the room took off my shoe… with in 15ims my socks were black…

Very old & run down. Desperately in need of spackle, paint, and general repairs. And furniture newer than the Clinton Administration. But it’s perfect for a quick one-nighter if you’re on a budget & don’t plan on spending much time in the room.

To Ruben the manager. I had to check out of your hotel 9-7-19 around 830pm due to bugs being in my room. We already dealt with the hot tub not holding water. You all had to fix that. Then to be laying down in your uncomfortable itchy bed to have a 1 bug crawl on my face is unacceptable. It was a baby roach or something like that. The room cost too much to have bugs. Luckily I got it for less than your site through Expedia. Then there was 2 next to the bed on the side table. If there is babies there is a mother. I cannot sleep or be comfortable knowing that. Didn't want to take the risk of packing up all my things to move to another room. So if I must pack up my things, I might as well go home. Glad it was a staycation. If I came from out of town and that happened I be angry. I feel sorry for any customer that might happen to. This is not right. I wish I never wasted my time and money. Room 157 has mold in the tub and bugs. Stay away! They will not give me a refund either! I have made a complaint with the BBB AND WILL REPORT THEM TO EVERYONE I CAN! THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS HORRIBLE!

The rooms need updating but other wise it nice and it is close to every place we go to here in Mesa. Beautiful grounds and pool area.

Nice room, breakfast is simple (bread, cereal, coffee). Room had a jacuzzi bath tub! Was not expecting that in a regular room. Well worth the stay. Hopefully visit again soon.

The grounds around the hotel we're not up kept. There are rooms that are being worked on and all of the debris from the room is just thrown out on the balcony. They do not run the pool pump so the pool is stagnant unclear and full of debris, the entire time we stayed there. Our room had a water leak from the ceiling into the bathroom. We notified the front desk and they simply shut off the water source. We were told to go to the front office to get another room and some compensation for having to move all of our stuff. It was a specific individual we were supposed to talk to. This individual remain impossible to contact through any means the rest of our stay. She purposely avoided us made no effort to contact us and when we did locate her in a back office, she said she was on an important call and remain in there until we left. This hotel is not professional, not clean and there are homeless people all around the grounds. We found a hypodermic needle wedged in the back of a chair. I will not stay there again.

Clean. Nice. Pool. Quiet. Private. Great service. Fairly priced. Free Wi-Fi.

Low cost rooms, very old and in need of repair and update. Non-smoking room was obviously a prior smoking room. Burn holes in the curtains, carpet and counters. Old TV, no Wi-Fi in the room. Outside is severely under maintained, ceiling on the walkway was leaking from rain, parking area had trash and debris. Beds are very old, stained and hard, two small hard pillows didn't help. Definitely won't return, given the location it needs a overhaul done. I have stayed in hotels across the state and country, this was one of the worst.

Room was hot took hours to cool off. Roaches were found on the ground in the room. The property had drug users sitting on the steps and obviously rent to them as well. This is not a place to rent a room to rest for the night.

This place is sketchy. Parents were visiting from out of town and they booked this place to stay at. I went with them when they checked in. The front of this place and the lobby looked alright, but looks can be deceiving. The host at the front desk was efficient but not entirely friendly. My parents room was in the back of this place next to the dumpsters, so we had to drive around the building. As we rounded the first corner we saw a group of 4 individuals just hanging out in the parking lot. As we passed by they all just stared at us. We had obviously interrupted some type of nefarious business transaction. Rounding the next corner, we saw the dumpsters straight ahead and someone was standing inside said dumpster and tossing trash out into the parking lot. More sketchy people hanging out next to the doors of the rooms who stopped and stared as we cruised by. At this point we decided my parents would not be staying here for their own safety. We turned back around and informed the front desk about these issues and why we would be leaving. So, we never saw the inside of the room and unfortunately have nothing to report on the state of accommodations here. I would never stay at this hotel. It just doesn't seem safe to have drug deals going on outside your door.

These people are racist and unbelievably disrespectful, the staff of Hispanic/ Mexican women were very rude to the white staff and would tell them to do a task but not explain how to do the task so when the work was complete the white people got yelled at and made fun of in Spanish that's just disgusting to treat people like that. The place is infested with cockroaches, they told me to just welcome them to the team. I was mortified she acted like it was no big deal when they crawled all over the plates and the cups stacked in the back.

Our stay here was pretty pleasant. Big rooms, decent sized beds. Pool was pretty clean and staff is helpful. It could be a little updated like the TV was little and a old one. The breakfast wasn't that great but the landscape and trees and upkeep outside is very nice. Maybe lower prices if no updating is done would be my say.

The best place for a wedding! It's beautiful inside and outside they have fountain's against one wall and lots of tables and chairs. They have a great place for the bride and groom to get ready and to stay the night. Very nice people!

I have stayed at Windermere Hotel & Conference Center in the past, but it has changed. The breakfast was toast, muffins, cereal and waffles. The room was sufficient, but lacked a few things. Our room was 2 queen beds which was nice from the normal double beds. Our bathroom door didn't latch shut. The TV was an old box TV which I feel like this day and age hotels should do away with. We were planning on hooking up our laptop so we could watch a movie, but we're unable to.

The other reason I gave it one star is because it opened it for me to be able to post. We stayed one night and the room was very dirty. After 5 min of walking on the carpet with white socks, they were filthy. Carpet also very stained. Dirty walls as well. The food sucked also. We were supposed to have a free breakfast and ended up leaving. Gross hotel.

My daughter and son-in-law just had their wedding at this location. The wedding was nice but the service and staff were very rude acted like they did not want to be there. The coordinator was extremely rude she rushed everything. When bride and groom were eating she interrupted them and advised them that the head count was over what they had given an said that they needed to pay another 300.00 dollars. That was very wrong. The front desk people were not very helpful. I would not recommend anyone to have any kind of event at WINDMERE HOT, EL. Sincerely, Brides Mother.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Dirty. Noisy kids next door. Thin walls. The grounds are kept much nicer than the rooms. The first room we checked into was nonsmoking but smelled like a chimney sweep. Very overpriced for what you received. I will never stay here again and probably one of my worst experiences in a hotel room.

To start off out experience we had trouble checking in since we booked with a third party, the front office lady was NOT helpful what so ever and I basically had to figure out the check in situation myself. When we had finally checked in we drove around to the room which was in the very back next to the dumpsters. As I was trying to unlock the door a man rode up on a bike and asked the maintenance man if he could dump his mattress there in exchange he'd give him some beer to which the maintenance man agreed. When I got into the room I immediately noticed how outdated it was, dirty carpet and paint scratched off the walls. There was water splattered all over the aluminum wall near the sink, the bathroom floor was filthy with dirt piled up in the corner of the floor. Paint was peeling off the floor of the bathtub and the shower curtain was stained. As I was laying in the bed the clock radio was making a weird buzzing noise so I went to unplug it and got slightly shocked by the outlet. At that point I decided I was not going to stay there. Mind you I payed $161 for our room. I did complain to the front office before I left about the condition of the room to which they did offer me a new room but I decided against it. I will not be returning.

Dirty. Room smelled of smoke and cigarette burns all over. Desk clerk rude and poor attitude when helping customers. No hangers in our room and attending funeral next day. "Not his problem". Overflowing trash outside. Rooms poorly maintained (faucet leaked all over, no door hooks, old paint on floor). Cheesy, dirty, do not meet requests submitted at reservation (asked for roll away), rude desk clerk. Would stay away unless the lack of hospitality standards of quality service and customer satisfaction do not matter to you. Poor. Negative stars.

First off we walked in to a very unfriendly host. He did not greet us. With an empty lounge, he was staring at his computer screen for 10 min before he even acknowledged we were their. We reserved a room a week in advance, once we checked in, they gave us a room that we did not reserve. Once we got to the room we called and notified him. He said "yeah, we don't have that room" I asked if they had a similar room that we reserved. He said no and took a deep sigh of agrivation. I told him we wanted to check out, he replied with it didn't matter to him. Fine with me. Don't give this kind of business your hard earned money.

You do not want to stay here. It's disgusting! We walked into our room and there was a clump of someone's hair on the carpet. (Like when someone gets a hair cut). There are so many shady characters hanging around. The cops drove by quite regularly. Thank God because I honestly don't think I could have slept had I not noticed that. One good, the room was really large.

Sometimes things don't get better with age. They have done a good job dressing up the office and they gave it a great modern look. But that was the point that my stay started to go South. I checked in and was off to my room, as I went in and opened the refrigerator door it started to tip forward and fall out of the bar and the microwave kept turning off and on at the same time. Not good. Then I found roaches in the bathroom. Wow. The next morning I went down for the breakfast in the office, it was the worst experience that a hotel could offer a guest! You couldn't take your drink or your muffin to your room and I say muffin not muffins because you could only have one. That's the way the office saves money I guess. So over all I wouldn't be recommending this hotel to anyone. They need hospitality training.

I wish I could give it no stars. Instantly when I walked into the room I was greeted with the smell of stale cigarette smoke and dirty carpet. The room is filthy, the comforters and carpet are covered in burn holes, and everything nothing here is worth the $90+ I paid for one night.

Really beautiful hotel. They have expansive grounds that are well kept up, a large sparkling pool, and golf courses in the back. The rooms themselves are nice and roomy. They have all the amenities one would normally expect (microwave, micro fridge, ironing board, coffee machine) Personally they upgraded me to a two bed room at no extra cost. Honestly it was a bit too much room for just one person! I was amazed by the extremely large private balcony I had access to that overlooked the entire courtyard. I could see no bugs in the place, everything was in good, clean, and working order. Honestly the people who give this place negative reviews really need to either lower their standards, or pony up the extra cash and check into something like the Hilton! This hotel for me was the same price as like the Knights Inn, but it is a thousand and one times nicer than it! Definitely recommend booking online rather than in person! You'll easily get a discounted rate.

Ghetto, police all through the hotel. Was harassed by a cop asking me if I knew somebody name Andrew as I'm switching rooms because my 1st Room was terrible it may sound nice do not go there unless you wanna see bugs and cops everywhere. I went to the front desk to get my money back after an hour the girl the front desk try telling me I could come pick it up tomorrow and I told her I was not leaving without my money and within seconds she gave me my money back do not go here it's all prostitution drug dealers, addicts, ghetto a** people who have nowhere else to go! don't be fooled by the outside. I came to get a hotel for a couple nights to be safe and I felt even more scared at this property. Go to the days Inn down the street. It's much nicer and cleaner and the clientele is much better…

The outside is awesome. The pool and the spa are clean and well maintained. Would be due for a renovation in the rooms, such as replacing the bath and loose faucets. And also suggestion to replace the rug. There's a big task in the center of the room on the rug. Also I would have liked the lawn maintenance to be done later. The gentlemen blew with kinds of gas blowers in the parking lot before 9am and it woke us up. Then it was the weed eater… we had planned to sleep in the morning. But we don't all have the same intension when renting a room. It was nice anyway.

Room was decent, beds were pretty terrible. The bed had a foam top that slid all over the top of the mattress since nothing was holding it on. The"breakfast" was terrible! Only had 3 carb options and the staff was overly grouchy. Staff seemed under trained since everyone have different info. The lack of bathrooms in the lobby/breakfast area is disappointing and frustrating. I will not stay here again!

For location and price, lovely. But this is in east Mesa, so take that into account. Looks like it used to be a wonderful spot. Needs funding and upkeep. Possibly a move out of mesa.

This is the best Hotel on main Street I will not stay anywhere else. The Rooms are big and the staff is great. Breakfast is good to.

I would love to give 0 stars if it were an option. Unfriendly staff, they treat their paying customers badly, very poor attitudes. Old rooms, they smell bad, beds are like laying on plywood, noisy… never again will we stay here. Do yourselves a favor, and avoid this place!

We got a good price so it was okay. Grounds and pool area excellent but Whirlpool wasn't working. Facility in general needs maintenance. Wi-Fi was terrible.

Front desk personnel were great! And house keeping personnel also were exceptional. Breakfast room employee attitude could use some adjustments? But other than that the stay here was exceptional & would have received the 5 stars from this guest!

What a dump! Bathtub plugged up… toilet plugged up… refrigerator froze everything. A/C stopped working. It smells old and like cigarrets. Maids only clean sheets. Everything is full of dust… and old. It must be renovated. Don't pay more than the 43 bucks they ask… not worth it… I will never stay here again. Motel 6 is better than this place. Do not stay here! Note to owner: RENOVATE!

Stay away! Tweekers everywhere! Was asked for drugs many times people smoking pot all the time. Drunks and fighting as well as loud music every night. Extra charges billed to my card for no reason and terrible customer service. Even one star is too much for this place. Was even blamed for damage and stains to the very nasty stinky carpet in the room. Took dog for a walk out back and saw syringes on the ground so not safe for pets either. Like I said STAY AWAY for your own safety.

Unfortunately it wasn't what I thought it would be. I've stayed at other Windemere Hotels and I've had much better suites. The pillows were so flat and the walls were filthy. I found black pubic hairs in the jacuzzi hot tub. Instead of a comfy bed I slept on a foam spongy underneath thingy, not sure what that was. I felt like it was equal or just as bad as a motel 6 but even those are alittle cleaner. I don't think I'll be staying there again unless I am desperate and even then I'd rather spend the extra $20 for a better room and hotel.

Do not stay in this dump. Bed bugs, filthy, they do not wash there bedding as ours had blood splatters on them (i brought my own). Tweakers, heroin dealers, hookers, cops there all the time arresting people. Front desk girl in morning is extremely rude and snotty afternoon guy is not much better. Garbage every where. Maids were very nice. Cheap rates. But you get what you pay for but, but this dump is not even worth what we paid.

You get what you pay for here. Night desk clerk was helpful and friendly. Morning person was not nice at all, borderline harassing. Hotel needing an update is an understatement. Even though the walls are brick, could still hear the neighbors all around us all hours of the night. This is the kind of place you go to to be haunted by a tormented ghost, catch a nasty case of herpes without taking your pants off or buy stolen watches in the parking lot (there were multiple sales men).

In a pinch, the Windermere has affordable and clean rooms. Not the W by any means but for the price, you can't beat it. Would definitely stay here again.

The room smelled like animal urine. We used an entire spray bottle of febreeze on the carpet and the smell never went away. The bathroom floor was sticky and not clean. This hotel room is cheap, but definitely not worth the price. I will not be staying in this hotel again.

The room was ok. There were many questionable people hanging around standing outside their rooms. We went into our room and about half an hour later, the lights went out. None of the other electrical items such as the air conditioner went out. They came back on after maybe 5 seconds. We checked out. When we went down to the car, there was someone parked next to our car working on theirs. I do not recommend this hotel.

Cleaned the place up. Big rooms nice workers clean pool. Best of main Street, that's for sure.

Smells like cigarettes in the room, springy matresses, old scratchy bed spreads. The worst is the cockroaches. Found two the size of an average thumb. Ew you could seriously see the spines on this thing's legs and creepy face details. The fridge didn't work. I asked for extra sheets and blankets and was told that they did not have any extra. It's truly a shame because they have a great shell. The room was spacious and equipped with a full bathroom. It has a sliding glass door with a private porch. Lots of trees. I would love to see them remodel this place and jack up the prices to get all the druggies out of here.

Nice hotel, room was spacious and a. C. Was cold and perfect. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Only thing is the breakfast policy that you can't take food to your room, but other than that good hotel.

The hotel was basically nice, but seem cheap when you were there for 3 days. There were some cockroaches around as well as tons of mosquitoes. The water was good at the tables during our conference. I was not disappointed but I was not astounded either. The location was okay for a conference, but I probably wouldn't stay here as a guest.

Was very disappointed in what used to be an excellent hotel. We requested a king room with a whirlpool tub. The fist one smelled like pet urine & the tub was gross! The control button cover was missing & it had mold growing inside! We asked for a different room. Not any better. The ac didn't work, the curtains were stained & only 1 light worked. Never again.

I cant say that I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the hotel… but I can say I wasn't disappointed in it either. For the price point it was spot on… the pool was cold as hell… but the spa was nice and its much larger than most… also they both are handicapped accessible which isnt something that you see all the time. It was a nice addition to the hotel. Overall I was satisfied with the rooms.

The room was unclean, messy, and there was alot of damages. The front desk was quick and kind but the cleaning staff seemed to try and accuse us of being there as if we weren't suppose to be. The breakfast was underwhelming but lobby was lovely. I know I will not recommend to family or friends and not likely to stay there. Very outdated and run down.

We love this place. The beds are great and the whirlpool tubs are amazing. The prices are very reasonable.
The first time we stayed, we lived in Mesa, just down the street from the hotel. I got a room for our youngest daughter and her new husband for their wedding night, then the next night was our 39th anniversary so we stayed there. A wonderful experience.
We have since moved away so just stay here when we have an opportunity to come visit family. Gives us our space at the end of the day.

Well if you enjoy staying in the Bates Motel, then it's perfect.
I'm not one to complain unless it's absolutely necessary. OK, granted, the cost was reasonable for 7 nights, but you get what your pay for.
The room looks like something out of a 70's horror flick. Majorly outdated and not a stich of upgrades. The loveseat has dirty stains all over it. The walls are littered with scuffs and holes. The jacuzzi tub is stained with cigarette burns and mildew stains. The jets are rusty in color. The shower curtain looks like the original and has holes throughout it. The bath towels are thin, crusty and not much bigger than a hand towel. The lighting in the makeup area is terrible and did I mention the room smells like stale cigarette smoke and death combined.
The only thing I am happy with is the a/c.
God forbid! This place desperately needs Gordon Ramsey to come in! Wondering if the owners are a bunch of donkeys! Lol.

We stayed there first time Nov 3 2016 to go to the Mayo clinic for my hubby. Love how BIG the rooms are and the back patio is huge on the ground floor looking at the court yard. This time we stayed there for the same reason 12-11-2016 there were some creepy people wondering the court yard. I went inside for 10 mins and one of them stole my pack of smokes. Breakfast needs help it's not to tasty. Toilet paper roll is way to far away from toilet lol I just take it off and set it on the counter. All the workers are very nice and helpful! Will stay again but have to find a closer location to the Mayo clinic as the traffic takes us 50 mins at 6 am to get there.

Rooms were decent. Definitely in the older side, but the employees were always nice to us, always willing to accomodate, and bent over backwards to make sure my family and I had a great stay.

I came with my husband and 3 kids and felt absolutely horrible for making them stay one night. I should have some my research first. Every bad review was right on point. The bathroom that a tube scotch taped to the ceiling to catch a leak and let it drain into the bathtub! There is old hair spray on the back of the door that has dust stuck to it… You know what that looks like! The paint it peeling off the walls in the bathroom. I'm making my kids wear socks and stay off the floor because it's so dirty! I will be leaving first thing in the morning and I doubt I'll get my money back or any remorse by the looks of the other reviews.

Have requested a statement of rooms charges 3 times, but cannot get them to send one. Can't speak with someone in the office that knows english well enough to understand I am not looking to reserve a room, I am looking to get a statement of charges from when we were staying there. My employees staying in this hotel said it was okay, but rooms smelled funny and it was very run down and not in the best neighborhood, was told you could look out your window and see drug deals happening.

First of all, this should be listed as a Motel, not a Hotel. It's located in a very unsafe area of Mesa, AZ and I did not feel safe staying here at all. The room and bathroom needed an extreme deep clean. There was mold in the bathroom tub, dried menstrual (I'm assuming) blood on the bathroom door, fresh stains on the decor pillow cases, yuck yuck yuck. I wish I had double checked online before my family member booked a room there. Seriously. If you're from out of town and are booking this online before seeing it, please don't.

I would give no stars for this hotel! Don't book here. Power outage happened during our stay of course not something they can control bt front desk did nt check on guests didn't tell them anything. When asked front office what status was she was more interested in her uncontrolled child. Was rude and said they could nt help the guests with anything to just wait for srp to figure it out. I hope no guests had medical issues or needed help in anyway cuz they didn't care a bit. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE! I highly suggest no one ever stay here! If I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars I would. Its painful for me to even give this place ONE star. The first poor impression I received was the smell. As soon as I walked in the room I was hit with the brick of stink! It reeked of feces! And it was freezing. The heater did not work and the room was very cold (month of december). The next horrifying realization was the filth. The room was SO dirty! Dirty bathtub with hair, dirty bed, dirty carpets, dirty bathroom, dirty walls! This room looked like it had NEVER been cleaned! I reluctantly stayed the first night, but packed my stuff the next morning and left, to never return. I then called the hotel to cancel the room. They had already charged my card, which I did not give them permission to do (my work booked and paid for the room for me) and the amount they charged was more than it should have been. I called the hotel to get a full refund and I was told that had to be handled by the owner. Within 5 days I had called 8 times, and yet he was never there nor did I get a call in return. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! This is not how you run a business nor treat your customers. I cant say enough about how poorly this hotel was and I again suggest that no one ever book a room here. Before writing this review I read the others. You will notice the common thread in justified complaints is the lack of cleanliness! Just terrible! Hey Windemere, CLEAN YOUR HOTEL ROOMS!

The hotel was horrible! Very outdated and dirty. We found a straw wrapper in our bedding. The bathroom had mold. The bathroom walls were so filthy. The TV was really old and the screen was snowy. Do not go to this hotel!

We had an amazing event, led by Joe and his crew. The grounds looked beautiful, the dining area was incredible, and food was outstanding. Joe also works as a great planner, following up with you to ensure that everything is in place for your event. I wanted grilled Nathan's hot dogs as a humorous type of appetizer, and sure enough I got it! Would recommend for anyone that wants the best bang for your budget!

The staff was great, I wouldn't change a thing about who works there. They were all very friendly. But here's the reason why I gave it a 1 star: bed bugs. I found bed bugs in four separate rooms. Yeah, you read that right. Four. I didn't bother staying the night after that. I suggest you look before you plop down on that bed because they're obviously not checking on a regular basis.

The lobby and photos are deceiving. My Mom flew in for a week-long visit and I nearly immediately walked out as soon as we entered the room. I felt like I was in an episode of Dexter — or somewhere that a horrific murder previously took place. Eerie feeling, incredibly outdated furniture. The restroom was dirty and the toilet was crooked. There was a dead spider on the wall that had been squished with something. The sheets had been slept in. The TV was older than I am. The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, although the room was a non-smoking. She only stayed 1 night and was able to get the living hell out of there before her brutal slaying. Do not stay here.

I would not recommend this location. We stayed there 3 nights earlier this month and our room was on the second floor, back side. The room needs complete renovation. They have no elevators and all rooms open to the outside. More than once they did not leave us enough towels or soap/shampoo. One day we got back to the room at 5 pm and still no room service, We had to call the front desk to request it. The wireless internet was a joke and their excuse was were too many people using it. I told them they need to make serious technology improvements. One morning at breakfast all three coffee (regular) dispensers were empty.

I had my rehearsal dinner here and was a part of a wedding here this past weekend and let me just say it was amazing! Joe is a wedding coordinator at the Windemere and he is so attentive and willing to help in anyway. Joe can be helping plan any number of events, but he always made my bride feel like she was his main priority. I wish I would have had my wedding here! All the staff at the Windemere was amazing too. The food was delicious and the room are so nice! I definitely recommend the Windemere to anyone who is looking for an amazing place to have an event.

Run! Run! Run! My family stayed at this hotel last weekend with my daughter's soccer team. The hotel is old and run down, the rooms are dirty, and the customer service is non — existent! Upon checking in we found our room to be dirty, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, we found live and dead insects, the bathroom door was broken so you would get locked in the bathroom, there were cigarette burns on the carpet and on the bathroom counter, and finally the smell in the room was so bad we had to leave the sliding door open the whole time. The patio was nice with a pleasant view but the table and mismatched chairs were so dirty we didn't use them. After discovering all of this I went to the front desk to speak to someone about our room. I first spoke to the director of sales, who said she couldn't help me because we booked with an outside agency. She gave me the business card of the corporate sales manager, who said I should have been given to the general manager. He took down my cell phone number and said he would call me back, but never did. After daily calls to the general manager, all of which went straight to voice mail, and leaving several messages, I never received a call back from him! On my last try I actually spoke to the director of sales again and after she consulted with the corporate sales manager, she told me she was not authorized to do anything and the general manager would not be calling me back because he was leaving on a family emergency to India.

The room and patio were extremely dirty. There were spider webs all over the patio area, and the room smelled. I was also charged twice for one room and I am still trying to get that reconciled, (it has been over a month). There is always an excuse as to why I can't speak with the manager (who is the only one, that can help with the extra charge). Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was happy to see the beautiful upgrades that the hotel did. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Would stay again and again.

While I'm sure this place was grand in is day, it certainly does not make me feel welcome or at home. We arrived about two hours early and I thought I'd see if we could check in. Of course the room was not ready but since I had family that had been here the night before I figured we'd use their room to change on and hit the pool. Over use of chlorine made a nice pool an uncomfortable experience. After waiting two hours (still a half hour before actual check in time) I thought I'd see if or room was ready. No. Still not ready. Another 45 minutes of waiting and surely our room was ready, wrong again! This time I insisted on the key and told her I would be in my room in ten minutes. When I got their it appeared that it had been cleaned for some time as the cleaning cart was at the other end of the hotel and the room was ice cold from the AC. I know, " he's mad already, of course its going to be a bad review". In short, I can live with pretty lousy service and the inconveniences but the one thing I can't tolerate is the smell! Musty urine is the only way I can describe it. And is not just or room, others in our family had to put up with the same smell.
