1. Strategic location. Near beach. 2. Near to a Mosque and Halal restaurant 3. Near to amenities such as 7Eleven, mini market and shops. 4. Clean and tidy room. 5. Staff are awesome, helpful, 6. No lift. Only stairs so please request for room located at floor G and 1 for those who are disabled to climb stairs. 7. Wifi are awesome. 8. Pool also clean. 9. Really recomended.! 10. Price is reasonable. Thats all thank you Haleeva Sunshine Hotel.

Recommended. The staffs are friendly. Its 15mins walk to ao nang beach. We enjoyed our stay there.

Right in the middle of the trouble, you can eat delicious and cheap. The rooms were clean. Next to the laundry service.

Terrible customer service. We got checked into a room with non functional air con. After an hour of forth and back of trying to fix it, after our request we finally got moved to another room. The AC worked better but not great still. The man trying to fix AC seemed nice and apologetic. All rooms are dated, walls dirty, mould on walls, grouting in the bathroom is mouldy, ants on the walls, we even had a few march into our bed. AC units need changed, they are blowing mould spores out. The whole room smelled damp and mouldy. WARNING: The hotel has blocked genuine photos of the room which were part of my review. Bed was comfortable — but we like the mattress hard. View from the second room was lovely — onto limestone karats. This side of the building is away from traffic noise. Rooms overlooking the street can get noisy. Staff very unhelpful. Couldn’t advise on where to eat nearby, what time boats run until etc. We booked a bus to go to Ko Lanta. When our driver wouldn’t turn up the lady at reception initially refused to call the transfer company claiming that’s normal. Eventually she claimed she called them and they are on their way. An hour later we start calling them ourselves and it transpired our reception never called. Most unhelpful reception staff on our trip. For $30 a night you’d expect more than that.

Staff were not helpful, unable to give any advice on the area. Cheapish scooter rental at 250 per day for 24 hours, scooter was ok, but not great, other places offered brand new ones for similar price. Far from the beach. Tour agent right outside of the hotel was amazing and helpful, but she has no association with the hotel.

Disappointed! Not very clean, not well maintained.
I expected better seen the price. The air conditioning trouble to cool the room, the children who live in the 4th (my floor) and who run and sing for 20 min every morning at 7am before going to school one morning, the reception called me at 7am, 3 times!

Stay for 5day4nights. So affordable. My husband booked that room have jakuzi. Nice laaa.

The room was really nice, had everything we needed, towels, soap, shampoo, a bowl to wash our clothes and a balcony with a view to the main road. There wasn't much noise when we closed the windows. The receptionists were really nice, couldn't speak very well English but they were trying. Initially we booked for two nights and then we stayed three. The place is 20 min from the beach and there are lots of restaurants and shops when walking towards there. We booked a tour from the hostel, the elephant trekking and visit the tiger cave. I would suggest you not to do the elephant trekking, it was very disappointing.

Good hotel with spacious rooms. The pool would require a good upgrade, but it remains functional. Very good location, close to many restaurants, as well as the beach and that small port allowing to go on Railway beach. The rooms on the street side are still quite noisy. Namely that the proximity of the mosque is not to be taken into account because the call to prayer lasts only a few seconds and at an acceptable sound level. In summary, very decent hotel.

This hotel is ok. No major problems, decently central to things (10-15 min walk to beach), large rooms but kind of aged. Also, being right next to the main road meant that we heard motorcycles & traffic all night long, so if you're a light sleeper I'd recommend finding a place off the main road.

A smelly fungus in and unclean, noisy and outdated hotel. The room 311 we received had fungus on multiple walls. The smell was unhealthy. This room is was located on the main road side. The noise from the road was loud and similar to standing on the middle of the road. Since we pre-booked 2 nights we asked the next morning at the reception if there are other rooms available. They 'offered' the possibility to go to an other room at the other side of the building. However we needed to pay extra for this room. No compensation was made. Based in this experience I would definitely not recommend this hotel to any one. See attached images of the walls and sink.

Nice hotel but cockroaches was big minus.

Inexpensive, yet comfortable hotel rooms. Service was superb.

Had a nice time here despite the bad weather. Clean room with Aircon was nice and refreshing, had a room on the 4th floor which kept me fit for duration of the stay. Can comment on the pool or outside as it was consistently raining for the 3 days. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together but still was comfy. Attached is a picture of the view which was kind of nice to have.

I had the best stay at the Haleeva Hostel in the dormitory. The bathrooms are brand new and super clean, beds are nice and I had quite and cool nights with the aircon. The swimming pool is a plus for a cheap price stay. Staff super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to stay in this hostel.

Great Hostel. The beds are comfy and there are lockers. Besides that there is a big pool and a laundry service. Great value!

Great value hostel with nice beds (incl locker, light and power) and a big pool.

The hotel has good location, beach within walking distance and is very close to all pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
The décor is not brand new, but considering the bargain price paid is just fine.

My most recent stay was a nightmare. I booked on Agoda and then extended an extra few nights. The room was huge, got the deluxe, was surprised to find 2 bedrooms when I checked in, a nice mountain view and a cool jacuzzi balcony. But the fun stops there. When I checked out they completely screwed me. I had an early flight, had everything all in order to drop off my motorbike, was packed up, had a taxi standing by… I used my bank card because I didn't have much cash on me… the girl ran it and shrugged it off and implied it was declined (she was very young and didn't speak English). Long story…but I had to find a credit card to pay, buried away in the bottom of my huge backpack. Then I was already 30 minutes late because of this mess, got on the plane literally 10 minutes before takeoff. When I landed up north later and called my bank to unblock my card, I saw that the card was NOT declined. They actually RAN it, 4 times until it declined on the 5th attempt! Then they ran it again 2x on my credit card. So they charged me 6 TIMES — nearly $1300 for 3 nights! Nearly emptied my checking account. I have money, but mostly parked places where it takes at LEAST 3-4 business days to get to…so I'm still stuck with nothing a week later, and had to beg my parents for money for the first time in YEARS and get a transfer from the USA just to have pad thai money! I know it was likely a stupid mistake, but they have taken DAYS to reply to my emails.

Good Rom for the money. Breakfast near hotel, very good. Clean Rom.
