I had stayed here for a nights and my experience was really great. Very professional and polite staff. The location of the Hotel is awsome and the view during rains is simply breathtaking. Beach is just a walk away and the street is full on happening. Rooms are very neat and clean and breakfast was good. Had an amazing stay and rates are also reasonable. Quite a decent hotel this network operator. Good Breakfast, pool, hall. The beach is 10-15 minutes. Standard rooms are very small. When stopped by the night disconnected sockets and TV until I went to the reception Desk, did not solve the problem. In General, for short-term (one or two days) quite well.

The room we stayed in was small but the view was great. Location, ambience, Service, facilities were up to the mark. Although the hotel is very near to Ao Nang beach still the free shuttle services to Ao nang beach is very helpful.

The hotel is located perfectly near the beach and nearer to local market. The staff is very friendly. You need to explain your needs properly due to language barrier. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Rooms are not that spacious. Breakfast is nice. The hotel has got separate pools for adults and children both of which are just above average. Would recommend to any first timers.

ROOMS
We had a standard room, which includes a super-king-size bed (I would estimate 2.50 m wide), a balcony with two chairs, a small table and a clothes line. Also there is a small padded bench in front of the window, a kettle with two cups & tea, a safe, a TV and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The floor is tiled, so without slippers and with the aircon on it can get a bit chilly.
The room is not very spacious and we had a baby cot (which the hotel provides for free), so it was a bit cramped.
Two bottles of drinking water are provided every day.
What we did not like was that there is no wardrobe, chest of drawers or anything of that kind, just one shelf (on top of the safe) with hangers above it. For two adults and a baby, this was tough for two weeks, especially since you cannot open your suitcases on the floor. Thus leaving your clothes in the suitcase is not really an option.
There was a wooden connecting door to the neighbouring room, which did not really shield the sound from the other room (we could understand every word).
POOL
The are two pools, one regular which is about 1.50 m deep, and one pool for children which is 0.60 m deep. Both have a nice view at the sandstone cliff.
The water is warm, especially in the afternoon the small pool had 33°C, which is perfect for small babies.

The Ibis is well placed in Ao Nang on the road leading to the beach. It is well priced and very well laid out. There is a nice pool, with a separate one for children. The common area has a pool table and there is plenty of parking. The staff are exceptional. Rooms are clean, food good.

It's all good. Comfortable, clean. But the mosque which is located near the road. The first alert about the beginning of morning prayer takes place at 5.30

Room a little girls… but the rest excellent… very good breakfast. Complete and varied.

Friendly staff and overall good quality for the price. They have a shuttle which gets you to the beach in 5 minutes. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfasts. Stayed with my 2+1 family. Daughter liked the pool and playground. If you are on the right side of the hotel you will enjoy a picturesque view of a nearby mountain. The size of the room depends on whether you go budget or family size. The only part I honestly didn't like was the smelly air-conditioning, but you can get used to it. A solid 4.

This hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Room is clean and modern, maybe slightly small but easily suitable for a couple. Cleaned daily. Nice balcony overlooking looking the pool.
The Pool is great for family’s. Plenty of swim space and a small adjacent pool for the younger ones.
Breakfast is served daily 7-10. Lots of choice of western, continental and eastern food available and continually replenished.
Short 10-15 minute walk to Ao Nang beach or hourly FREE Tuc Tuc’s to and from hotel if you don’t want to walk.
We’re coming back again and will recommend to everyone.
Still here for another week but 100% satisfied.

The best hotel in the Ibis chain that I was able to visit, superbly seen on pool of the room very pleasant, welcomes with amuse mouth and refreshing beverage in vending offered, a first as well as its friendly staff…

Well located, about 10 minutes walk from where the boats leave to visit the beaches of the area, also have a free shuttle service every hour that comes very well, although walking also takes little. The hotel facilities are very nice with a good pool where you relax on the lounge chairs, have a drink or have a massage, the latter with prices slightly above that the services on the main street, but definitely worth it for the environment. Breakfast is buffet style and it is very complete, there are pretty much everything. The rooms are clean and correct as they are usually in the Ibis, the bed is pretty good, not as hard as others in Thailand. They also have 24h room service.

It is an OK hotel. Centrally located although not on the beach. View was good. Rooms are too small, feels like we were in a cruise ship room! You will have to walk 15 minutes to the beach. Shuttle is also available (hourly) but we did not find it very convenient. When we arrived, the rooms were not very clean. I understand that the hotel was very busy during this time of the year but can do better. The cooking in breakfast buffet was not as good as expected by Thai standard. There were many items though in the buffet.

Good hotel if you want a comfortable stay at a pocket friendly price. Walkable distance to the Ao Nang beach and the markets. Good breakfast buffet. I felt the staff weren't very hospitable (my opinion). Overall, value for money.

I think was expecting a little bit more from this hotel. It looks good and the rooms are good and clean. Also there a shuttle tuk tuk to the beach every hour for free which is really good. However I didn't like the fact that I have to leave 500B for deposit per day in case I break anything. The breakfast even though it looks rich it isn't. And also the fact that was woken up at 4 or 5am by the mosque opposite the hotel.

Stayed there for week plus with child in a family room. Family room was spacious, had a double bed and bunk bed. Mattresses were unfortunately quite soft. Some people like it, I don't. Very good breakfast. Hotel is nice and had a good pool. Location of the hotel is perfect — near the mosque. A lot of reasonably priced restaurants and food stalls around. Good thing on the location is that it is quiet there. 15 minutes walk to the beach, and to the boats.

Good for the price. Everything you'd expect from a big chain hotel. Breakfast buffet is very good. Good central location but far enough away that it is nice and quiet come night time.

The staff are cool guys, God grant them health and good luck! Issues are resolved quickly and competently! Did not like the fact that some of the rooms are connected by doors and the clarity through them is amazing, because of this I had to move to another room, on top of that some of the neighbors are bad people) smoke in the rooms and all the smoke pulls through the magical door between the rooms to your room and rest prevraschaet to hell!

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are functionally furnished. Unfortunately we had a lot of noisy neighbours and the walls are thin.
In our room, the door locking mechanism was broken. Thus, anyone could have entered the room without a key card. After we announced the error at the front desk, a technician immediately came and exchanged the lock. After that, everything worked well again.
The breakfast offer is extensive and good. The dinner menu is recommended!
The pool complex is definitely worth a visit and you should not miss the massage bid directly by the pool.
The beach is about a 12-minute walk from the hotel and also very nice and clean.

Great hotel. They have a amazing buffet breakfast. Also they have water and juice in the lobby free for all guests. This is helpful especially if you have spent the whole day at the beach. One issue-The rooms are quite small though. Also there are no cupboards for cloths or tour luggage.

Not a bad room in the hotel was only just no soundproofing, you can hear everything and everyone around.

It's a great hotel. We lived in it for two nights. The food is good, everything is tasty and varied. A car drives from the hotel to the sea or you can walk past shops, massage parlors, cafes and restaurants. The beach is wide, the entrance is nice. You can walk on the beach.
The rooms are small, clean, everything works. A small balcony.

It looks like a normal hotel when you enter here. But it is located right behind a huge cliff. Ask for the mountain view rooms as it is breathtaking! You can see fog on the cliff surrounded by lush greenery and birds chirping early in the morning. A sight I can never forget. So beautiful to sit in the balcony and enjoy your chai! Rooms are quite small though clean. It has a restaurant that serves Asian and Continental food. Loved this stay!

Great place with quiet and friendly atmosphere. Small rooms for the price but definitely worth it. Stayed as a family of 5 in 2 rooms. Had a great time. Will return just for the location and friendly staff. Recommended for family with kids.

Basic as one would expect from this chain of hotels. When on a beach holiday you don't need more and the staff made it a great stay. I didn't use any amenities apart from a pool side massage that was really good. Little more expensive than outside at the many massage places but well worth the extra. Hotel was clean, and you can see it is a newly built hotel. Prices are so comparative that I booked an extra night so I could be in my room until I left at 23:00. Thank you to management and staff, I would happily stay there again.

You cannot go wrong when booking a stay at any of the Ibis hotels, from the friendly staff, great pool, happy hours, complimentary shuttle service to the beach, if your someone who does not mind carrying your own suitcase to the room (as they do not carry your luggage to your room) this is a great hotel just 15 minutes from the beach. Meals: Excellent for the price we paid Rooms: Clean, comfortable and great views of the cliff and pool. Service: Good.

Everything very good. They allowed us to make check in around 3 hours by advance with no problem. Good attention, excellent breakfast, nice accomodations, good pool, and adequate location (many restaurants and massage centers around). They give free transportation service (go and return) to Ao Nang beach each 1 hour, from 08:00 to 21:00. They also have taxi and tour services.

The hotel is clean. Traditional Thai smells. The room has everything for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is traditional Thailand — scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, Hegarty, pineapples, watermelons, rice, instant coffee, broccoli, corn flakes… If you're hoping for seafood, it is not even now in the Dominican Republic… the Seafood here are like in Russia. Unless, of course you will not behind them to drive all there local markets for thirty kilometers… the Rooms are small, around the bed is only accessible side, on the balcony too cramped together. Each room has a door to the neighbors that new guests often confused with a wardrobe and trying to open. The hotel location is good. Carries vehicles on the beach for free every hour. Walk not too far. At the same time around a different order price. Thai massage 200 baht for example. There are two pools for children and adults. Free Wi-Fi, a safety Deposit box too. In the room are two bottles of water, instant coffee and tea bags.

A lot of smokers, disgusting Breakfast. Missing insulation. The hotel caters for crowds of Chinese, who arrive one at a time.

Service was generally good. No English on television channels. Very noisy from 7am from screaming children.

Family orientated hotel wouldn't recommend for a relaxing holiday. Very noisy with all the children. Rooms are nice and spacious with bottled water and cliff views. A lot of the rooms are reconnecting rooms with a partition dividing we had to change rooms as you could hear EVERYTHING that went on in the next room could hear snoring all night. Breakfast is OK not a lot of choice but staff are great and helpful.

Nice clean hotel with pool. Better suited to families than young couples. Rooms with partitions can get quite noisy, the same with the mosque across the road. A long walk from the beach although the hotel offers hourly shuttles.

Quite far from beach. However, the hotel itself is nice and peaceful. I love the fun and colorful decoration here. Breakfast is ok. They also have island tour service so you don't need to find elsewhere.

Really clean and nice room, swimming pool and perfect location!

Is it a fantastic hotel? No, of course not. It's an Ibis. You don't stay in an Ibis if you want luxury. It is, however, quite clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfasts are fair, not bad, not great. You'll be full, but the variety was lacking. The walls are a bit thin, like at all Ibis hotels. It's not that close to the beach, but there's a shuttle service every so often, and it's actually a decently short walk (~12 minutes). The Ao Nang beach itself is a pretty terrible place anyway, so just rent a scooter from the hotel and drive off to a less crowded beach (highly recommended), or foot it up to the dock to catch a boat to an island if you miss the shuttle.

A bit far from the beach. Small rooms. Smallest of all Ibis Hotels. Bad Wi-Fi connection. High price for budget hotel.

Good environment around hotel, clear and lovely inside the room, great view out of window, very good experience of first arrive at Thailand.

A good value ibis hotel with pool and sun loungers. The hallways to rooms echo like mad, so if you're a light sleeper you'll get disturbed by people coming and going to and from their room. The breakfast is ok, best to come early when it's fresher and quieter. The location is quite far from the beach (a good thirty minute walk) but you're right outside some great street food options.

Quite ok. Hotel is simple with breakfast buffet, computers and rooms with good TV Channels.
