Great location. Access to the public transport system into Bern within 1 min walk. Room was well equipped and spacious. Buffet breakfast is OUTSTANDING! Staff very friendly and helpful.

The best point about this hotel is it's strategic location and stone-throw-access to BernMobil (Guisanplatz Station), giving you greater reach across the city without facing much hassles. Beside's this, staff of the hotel are very cooperative and friendly — keeping optimum care of the guests.

Pleasant hotel, well situated with trams into the centre of town. Staff were professional and welcoming. One downside, they gave an ironing room rather than providing ironing facilities in the room. I really detest having to do that, ironing is boring enough without having to be in a concrete box to do it too!

A nice hotel next to the expo center. It's not centrally located but there's a tram next to the hotel that gets you to the city center in 15 minutes. The hotel is pretty decent. The prices are reasonable and the service is fine. They also have a popular bar at this hotel, so you might not need to go to the city center after all.

Nice hotel for 1-2nights, Bediehung in the restaurant was a bit Mau.

This hotel is horrible, dirty! housekeeping never cleaned our room in the 5 days we were there, bartender rude, my son became ill after he ate the breakfast there, and our room smelled like smoke. Manager was completely unresponsive to it all even when I complained to reception! dont go here, avoid the aggravation!

The hotel is very good, as far as the rooms and service, but the restaurant and bar do not work on weekends, this seems very serious to me because I arrive on a Saturday and I got to go out and look for food to the city.

Very modern and clean. The chalk wall in the restaurant is particularly well managed.

Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The one who helped us check in also told us how to get around town and what to see. Room though not very big, is still comfortable and nice to rest in. Only downside is that the parking lots are rather narrow.

Novotel Expo is at a great location, with a street car stop directly outside that runs frequently and takes you to old town in 10 minutes. Google Maps will tell you that Parkstrasse is the closest stop, but Guissanplatz Expo is literally 2 minutes from the door. The Wi-Fi is very fast and the beds are comfortable (though they put two twin beds together for couples, as do most European hotels). The breakfast was really good, with well prepared hot options. The gym was solid, albeit there being only one treadmill, so with lots over business travelers, there's a good chance that it'll be occupied during peak times.

Since Novotel Expo gave me a good stay experiences two nights in 2015, I decided to stay five night this time. Still, the service and breakfast serves me a good experience. However, at the last night after 21:00, my wife found there is a big spider, 6 cm long, that stayed on the corner of the upper wall. It freaks her out all night and she could not sleep well. At final, I killed the spider by myself because we need to check out next day. I have told this issue to the reception staff when I checked out, she just said sorry about what happened and will ask house keeping to take care. *AI*. I hope hotel manager should be responsible for a clean room for tourist, however, I am totally not satisfied with this exception.

You feel someone realy cares you'll have a good staying. It starts from the early check-in, the notification you get that your room is ready and they are waiting for you — all that before you even got there. Then the facility is very nice, you get all you need, much more than what I expected for the price we paid. We came as family — 2 adults and 2 young kids. Highly recommended is you have simple needs! (Ment in a good way…)

It was one of the worst hotels I've ever try! I arrived at 10 pm and nobody help me with the baggage, I was so hungry and I try to order from the restaurant and the room service they told me that the kitchen close at 10 pm and there is only pork is available! And I don't eat pork! The room was dirty and there's a lot of spiders in the wall I call the reception to clean and they told me there is no house keeping is available at 11 pm! They told me to change the room at this late time and how I can arrange my baggage after I spend the whole day outside! The service of the hotel is below 2 stars I don't know how they rate it 4 stars! It is the first and last time here. I will not recommend this hotel to all my friends and family! It was the first time for me in Switzerland and unfortunately it was a bad experience!

Much too expensive for the services offered. More than 240CHF for one night parking apart. Furniture of worn rooms. Very disappointing for a Novotel. I don't advise.

A good standard Novotel: clean and efficient (as long as you dont have issues with the reservation — in this case better ask the general manager directly, otherwise it will take you ages). Well located 5 min from the stadium/expo. Ideal! Car park is however far too small (if you arrive during an event, expect not to be able to park)

Very nice hotel, perfect location (on a tram stop, few stops away from city centre — hotel provided us with one day pass for public transport for free). Family oriented (I had 2 kids w me). Minus was waiting time for elevators (one more — just for staff would be beneficial as I met cleaning ladies several times with big carts occupying elevators for guests). Also, there is a reconstruction going on now so there are some limitations in lobby. Last thing (detail) the light in bathroom was broken — hanging on wires. Over all! — I would come back if next time.

Very good hotel, confortable room and reasonable service and prices. The location is excellent for visiting the city. It is near enough from the city historic center and you can also take the tram with free tickets the hotel provides. The paid parking is not spacious and is unprotected. Breakfast is OK.

We've got mobility tickets to the rooms for the use of public transport. Very great and very handy!
Staff were polite, very nice lobby. The room itself was not sufficiently pleasant in relation to the price. (E. G. Too few electrical outlets, no Cabinet) In the hallway and in the rooms, everything is a little old and there are a few furniture (for the price! ).

I did not sleep at this hotel because it was sold out having arrived in town in the late evening but the front desk has been at pains to find me another hotel putting the pc in the lobby and then in my place by telephone booking.

We had a great rate for staying at the Novotel Bern. Breakfast was good, and room was good. Everything you would expect from a higher end hotel in a big city. They also had power adapters to rent and a workstation in the lobby.

We were very satisfied in the large family room. The room was very clean. The location is very ideal. In just seven minutes you are in the centre of Bern. Especially the staff at the reception was very friendly and accommodating. We recommend that your Hotel will be happy and will be sure to come back. Thank You Very Much.

A daumendickes hole, was in room 421, which had sofa the carpet the shower holder was loose burn marks, and finally my room was not cleaned up. At the front desk was my complaint with a loose answered "we will investigate it". No apology, no offer to purchase a new room,

Good business hotel and close to the Expo. Iron is the room is missing.

Am very disapointed, 2 young completely overburdened employees (probably learning) found my reservation not in a virtually empty hotel. Were also rude. Our double rooms (for 150-) was a bed + fold-out sofa, where I felt every single metal spiral in the back. In the shower, you had hardly regulate the Wassertempereratur. You made then to make matters worse still a mess with the prices! Not a good idea.
