Absolutely my favorite hotel in Engelberg!

I wish I could give this place six stars! The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service is truly outstanding. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and perfect for relaxation.

I have recently celebrated my birthday in the Culinarium Alpinum and I can give the restaurant and the hotel my highest praise.

During our visit in May 2024, our family had a great time and the hotel was great. With an interesting history, the hotel is family-run.

It was a very cosy hotel, it had very traditional cute deco in a really nice and quiet area. Yes, it is a 20-minute walk from the centre but very walkable since it is not on a hill.

Complete excellence. The service, the breakfast, the location, teh welcoming nature of the hotel — all completely excellent, far exceeding expectations.

Great hotel in the middle of Engelberg. No complaints on anything during a week long stay. The hosts are especially great — always a smile and very friendly!

We had a wonderful ski vacation. The hotel stuff are really so kind and even helped us planning our ski sites according to the weather.

My third visit to this superb small friendly hotel. Quiet location about 20 minutes walk to the village or there is a bus stop outside (free). Rooms comfortable and super clean.

Stayed at Kempinski Engelberg for the second time this winter and already can’t wait to come back. The hotel and its location are absolutely magical and beautiful in any season.

Stayed here to ski Engelberg. Beautiful, top quality hotel with free parking and a great breakfast featuring a press to make your own fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Really welcoming, calm and enjoyable hotel! From beautiful views in the morning with your first coffee to resting in the garden with the waterfall nearby in the late afternoon, each day was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay, and highly recommend it! The hotel is in a modern building with the restaurant terrace overlooking the lake and mountains.

Really beautiful location, nice rooms and good breakfast. Also had gluten free bread for us in the bufet. Servis was great and friendly.

The hotel is a surprise for us. Perfect location — situated right by the lake. We are lucky to have an upgrade to the suite room with two balcony and lake view. It was really amazing.

Villa Hundert is truly unique. Such an incredible experience. Super friendly staff and the food is really exceptional. They also added a new steam sauna and relax area which is very nice.

A typical charming Switzerland mountain hotel. Family owned. Situated in a small ski resort overlooking Lake Lucerne.

We were booked into the Engle as part of a Christmas coach tour holiday. It is a lovely traditional Swiss building set high above the lake with views of the wooded hillside.

Great place to stay on our travels, very friendly staff, great location and fantastic food. Will definitely be back.

Very good small hotel associated with the bakery/restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms are all individual, but decent size and comfortable with good storage cupboard.

The service has been amazing, haven't been judged by age. Offered early check in as I asked in advance. The sauna area was amazing, it's private and it really offers a place to relax.

We had a really nice stay at Hotel Crystal, that have a great location in the city of Engelberg. Our room was nice, clean and had a balcony with view over the mountains.

Enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. We arrived late night, the room keys, parking key was arranged in the lock box and the access was smooth secure.

Enjoyable stay. Healthy sized bedrooms, with good kitchen and lounge/dinning facilities. We had a 3 bedroom apparent between 8 of us and it worked really well with the double sofa bed.

We stayed 3 nights here. We were on the ground floor with no view. The bed was good. There were many insects though like flies, mosquitos and spider. Breakfast options could be better to be honest.

Wonderful little hôtel/restaurant in an incredible setting on Lungern lake. Excellent service, great staff, relaxed and cozy atmosphere, good food. We look forward to returning.

Room — my girlfriend and I spent 5 nights the top floor of the house called “Viola”. This room included a balcony with an astonishing view over the lake with mountains on the backdrop.

Tucked away in the postcard-like village of Emmetten, BellaRosa Apartment (we stayed in “Jasmine”) was a true highlight of our trip.

In August 2024 we spent six nights in this Hotel. Location is awesome. Great views from the terrace, beautiful sunset.

We stopped there with the family for two nights on our way to Italy.
