Probably the best hotel in Switzerland! Ok not 5* luxury with spa etc but if you want a clean well run modern and spotless hotel that's so convenient for trains it is right across the street with panoramic trains every hour to Luzern or Interlaken then this is the one for you. Oh yes, the breakfasts are wonderful as are the very attentive and helpful friendly staff and it's almost completely flat access throughout, no suprise little steps to negotiate with your suitcase… Overall it's clear someone has put a lot of thought and effort into rebuilding and running this hotel B&B. Thanks for a wonderful stay 👍🤩
We spent our Easter holiday at this lovely hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The place was spotless, the staff incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything. The beds were very comfortable and the location and view were simply stunning. Breakfast was absolutely delicious as well. A special thank you to the warm and friendly staff and also for the sweet little gift on our last day. We would love to come back again with our baby once she is born.

Extremely disappointed and angry with our 3 nights stay at Emma's. This isn't the first time we've stayed here but unfortunately will now be the last. We turned up to breakfast in the morning and were asked for our room number by a short/buzz cut haired lady with glasses. She then told us we're not allowed to have our child (1 years old) with us in the room as incase of a fire, they'd only be checking for 2 adults. She also felt the need to mention a baby crib can't be put in the room as there's no space. We then told here we messaged the hotel in advance at the start of this year, specifically saying our child will be sharing the bed with us. Hence booking for 2 adults only. With other guests behind us sitting and enjoying their breakfast, I didn't want to kick up a fuss. As I felt it neither the correct time or place for it. Why was this not brought up prior to our arrival? Do notes not get checked prior to a guests arrival? Why choose to in front of everyone else mention all of this? It made us feel utterly embarrassed and belittled. Put us right off having breakfast at all from this point. We did not go for breakfast after this on other days thanks to this experience. Her condescending tone and attitude is appalling. Not the best way to welcome former guests but thanks to her, we'll never be booking this hotel again. Other things to note, the parking is extremely limited at busier times. Bare in mind if travelling with a child. Location is spot on.
