The location is great! The bathroom is a bit small No air conditioning on these hot days.

Very comfortable hotel with very friendly, caring and loving girl receptionists. Lavish breakfast with avacadoes, fresh juices, cheese, croissants, fruits, yogurts, coffees, teas, eggs, cereals etc. Working very nice restaurant for food with very friendly staff. Lounge is very beautiful, clean and green with lots of natural and real plants. I took the junior suite which was for 4 people and very big, spacious with kitchen and laundry arrangements. I had two big windows and cold air conditioning. There was a sofa and a few chairs in the room. Bathroom was big with london designer shampoo and bath wash. There was a telephone and many power sockets in the room. We were given a welcome tea and free high speed internet for as many devices we wanted. Bed sheets were neat and clean and so were the towels and bath room robe. They also had flavoured condoms for protection. Overall my experience was very good. Best in Europe and the UK. Thank you Jotel townhouse for my comfortable and reasonable stay.

Firstly — location is 5 star, especially if you’re coming and going by train. Reception is very quick and kind. However, the bed in our junior suite is absolutely terrible — and I really can’t believe that, at this price point. When you sit on the center of the bed, the whole thing sort of collapses in the middle. I am considering sleeping in my daughter’s sofa bed with her, if that’s any indication to how poor the bed quality is. There is no fridge in the room, no air conditioning, no hair conditioner, no paper. No USB ports at the desk, and none of the outlets are configured to accept a converter. Finally found a USB port in the outdated bedside clock/radio which is supposed to play your music when you connect your phone to it and select “aux” — but it doesn’t work. Yes these are nitpicks, but when you’re paying $300+ for a hotel that bills itself as “boutique, ” you can’t help but wonder what makes it boutique. Wouldn’t return to this hotel, and I’m definitely disappointed. This wasn’t a referral from Tablet hotels, so we are surprised.

Fabulous location 5 minutes from trains and just off Bahnhofstrasse with all it’s shops and cafes. And a five minute walk brings you by the lake and in an old part of town with quintessential swiss architecture! Highly recommend although maybe hot in the summer as no apparent air conditioning!

Terrific place for a quiet drink right in the center.

Impossible to sleep well because of the noisy, rattling train and room service that appears to start to destroy rooms and break furniture at 6:00am. Thin walls, so I can hear every unnecessary detail when people take phonecalls etc. Please put felt pads under your chairs and heavy furniture that will get moved around! Guest drag them around the floor already at 4:00am! I am paying well over CHF1000 for a few nights, and if I cannot sleep, this makes the hotel pointless. Every hour of good sleep counts for me. No fridge or wardrobe. I will go back to ibis which is much quieter and better value.

Very cozy hotel, small but super nice authentic kind of breakfast. Main disadvantage might be noisy in the room in the early morning (Windows looking out to Bahnhofstrasse)

Unbeatable location by the train station. The room was quiet and cozy but very small and basic — no refrigerator, no bathtub, no coffee machine, not even A/C.

We stayed at Hotel Townhouse for two nights while in Zurich. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms were good sized and clean. It can be a little bit noisy at night being near some active nightlife spots, but the hotel provides ear plugs to help. We found that the fan in our room provided enough white noise to cover up what was going on in the street below. The hotel offers free coffee and tea all day and has a variety of other items for purchase provided on an honor system. The hotel is in a good location, lots of restaurants and shopping is within walking distance. And the train station is only a few blocks away. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel and very well located. The rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is completely self — service and is taken at the reception in a living room. To the principle we seemed a little uncomfortable but then us seemed nice. The location of the hotel is excellent. Half a block from a main avenue full of business where pas tram and is also scarce three blocks from the train station.

I even otherwise the hotel. The establishment is pretty retro thing but very successful. The Bell is hard to find (in front of the stairs on the right). The reception is in the 5 floor. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Unfortunately there is no garage here at or at the hotel. Parking can man but in the Urania parking garage is 2 minutes away on foot.

Awfull owner (arrogant, bitchy Lady) and too expensive for what it is. Just next has much better offers…

Great hotel for a one/two night stay. Very clean with interesting Deco. Has a nice concept of a 'honor' bar where you pick yup what you want and its on you to state what you had. Very good location!

Booked a nonsmoking room (without obligation) and holy hell did it smell like someone chain smoked in there for the past ten years. Gross. Other than that it was quirky and comfy.

Great location and easy walk from the train station. I was very close to good restaurants, the Bahnhofstrause, and a short distance from Olde Town Zurich. The bed was super comfortable. My only complaint is that the laundry service took several days. I would stay here again!
