Excellent hotel. Great location, and simply outstanding service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ask for a quiet room, the ones facing the front do tend to enjoy the sound of trams screeching around the corner. Good bar food and free Lindt chocolate topped off a great stay.

Awesome location and great experience. They helped us understand the trains, which was scary for us! Fruit and chocolate waiting and we even enjoyed the gym. Water pressure in the shower is great. Nice amenities as well. Thank you Hotel Schweizerhof!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, the staff are very friendly and professional, they have gone above and beyondy expectations and I really appreciate it. The location of the hotel is very central, access to everything is a few minutes by foot in any direction. The main train station is right in front of the hotel as well. A lovely experience and I hope to stay here again on my next trip to Zurich.

An excellent hotel with very detailed service-oriented staffs, comfortable quill or dawn bedding sets, in addition to close location to Zurich central train station, although bathroom seems to be relatively small. Breakfast includes thin sliced but fresh salmon and other food selections, although no leaf salad was provided during April stay. Hotel also provides free seasonal fruit at outside elevator door. The only thing unusual for a global traveller is that there's only one bedding table, which is generally used for placing bed-time readings or eye glasses when traveller falls asleep, at one side of the comfortable bed. The hotel is a perfect option for travellers who plan to have day trip to Bern, Luzern, Basel, St. Fallen, or other cities. It's also convenient for visiting old town or other Zurich shopping area.

One of Zuerichs best and most centrally located 1st class hotels. Literally across the street from the Zuerich Railroad Station (Their porter will literally cary your suitcase to the train platform. Superb resraurant "LA SOUPIERE" on the first floor.

Very nice home for the various six-ring activities. Nice guilds, great ambience and of course the staff. Somehow, the Schweizerhof seems to understand, despite the prevailing fluctuation in the hotel industry, to repeatedly attract top employees ashore. Summer is going to be beautiful.

Very good place for business and good food…

Wonderful hotel located right across from mail train station (Zurich HB) and a walking distance to shopping district and old Zurich. The staff at hotel were exceptional.

There is a small romantic bar with a meny.

The reception was very cordial and every staff member has a friendly welcome.
The lunch menu and the map were explained in detail by Mr. Stadlober without being intrusive. Amuse Bush, the appetizer, and especially the Loup de Mer was excellent, compliment to the kitchen. The dessert selection was wonderfully presented and was just so fine to eat. The service of Mr. Stadlober and Mr. Dressler makes you feel so comfortable that you can forget the time.
Around a wonderful meal, highly recommended.

For our New Year's Eve stay in Zurich we chose the Schweizerhof, which turned out to be the right choice for the gold.
We do not need to talk about cleanliness and comfort here for a long time, this goes without saying, but what makes the difference in this House is above all the staff. I have stayed in a lot of high quality hostels all over the world, but the staff at the Schweizerhof were particularly impressed. In no hotel was everyone, but really absolutely everyone from the maid, the reception, the concierge, the staff in the restaurant so cordial, friendly and beyond the dimensions helpful and forward looking. A big thank you for that, here you really feel welcome as a guest and not just as an annoying evil.
The room was not a ballroom, but excellently maintained. The delicious breakfast was served with a lot of attention to detail, every wish was read from the lips. The same also applies to the in-house Café Gourmet, where the breakfast chef was in the afternoon and greeted us cordially and cared for.
Especially worth mentioning is the great support of the concierge in obtaining tickets for a New Year's Eve event that has been sold out for weeks. Without his help, our stay would have been only half as beautiful.
Again a big compliment to all the dear people who make this hotel what it is. Thank you very much and best regards from Aachen!

Awe, what a great hotel to spend when visiting Zurich. The location is simply perfect — right across from Zurich main train station. Since we used Zurich as out hub and traveled each day by train to different cities. Our room was very comfortable and sufficiently specious and even had US wall plugs. The rooms were clean daily and even on our checkout day, while we were eating our room was cleaned — nice touch! Breakfasts is available to all guests and was always fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice, caring and accommodating. This hotel comes highly recommended by me.

Favorite hotel in Zurich. Great for business travel. Extremely hospitable service, classic style and architecture that is very well-maintained. Amazing breakfast. I think it is best value luxury hotel in all of Switzerland.

I only slept one night together with my partner, just arrived you perceive the preparation of high-level staff, the concierge was very discreet and not at all intrusive, and throughout the stay in the hotel I was made to feel welcomed. The breakfast buffet I didn't find it great, but it's a miss me as I don't love the salty breakfast. Come back.

Excellent hotel, being greeted with champagne at check-in is OK! A litte bit "old" feeling at hotel, but a nice and quite noisy bar downstairs get's a tumbs up. Close to trams and railway station. Breakfast is a above average. Recommended.

We were etsten on the first floor of the Soupière restaurant tonight and were very friendly and accommodating. We went to all our extra wishes and we two friends felt very comfortable. It is so pleasant not to be berieselt with music and to have adequate space between the individual tables. I felt the atmosphere very pleasant, professional and yet very cordial and accommodating. I will recommend it and will be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

Nice hotel in good location. Rooms are very clean but quite small. Nice staff and nightly butler that comes around and offers complimentary sweet chocolates. The beds are quite comfortable and the Wi-Fi is very speedy. If I were in Zurich again I'd try to find a hotel with a larger room, but this one was quite good.

World class hotel in every way. We received champagne during registration! Turn-down service at night left a fruit basket and chocolates! We also received vouchers for a SPA nearby (worth 50CHF) and 20CHF voucher towards lunch or dinner. Breakfast is sumptuous; we love this place, especially since it is on our Expedia VIP+ hotel list. Beware, the hotel restaurant (La Soupiere) is closed Sunday evenings.

Upscale Hotel, very well located near Zurich HB and the beautiful Bahnofstrasse, great service and comfort inside the rooms, really worth visiting!

Excellent location: In front of the station in the city center.

This is an excellent hotel with an even better location — right across from the train station. The room was fantastic — a junior suite with two bathrooms and a room divider. Even when the street was noisy shutting the windows resulted in a silky silence. The beds were adjustable — head and foot could be raised for reading or resting tired feet. The standard complementary breakfast included eggs and rosti to order in addition to the breads, cheeses, yogurts, granolas, and other standard German breakfasts. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the best of our trip. The Champagne was quite nice, as was the coffee. And the hot chocolate was as good as it gets with steamed milk and Swiss cocoa. It was the best breakfast of the trip. Umbrellas for use when raining, responsive service, and a dedication to quality throughout made this our favorite hotel of the trip. The only caveat is to keep in mind that Zürich is expensive and the Schweizerhof was not cheap for Zürich. But if you're looking for a hotel that exceeds expectations and makes it as easy to travel as traveling can be, you can't do much better.

The hotel is at a perfect location to explore the city. The hotel is small but cozy. Service is impeccable. Breakfast has varied choices.

5 star reviews are incompatible with a hotel that gas no gym/fitness center, tiny rooms, and a 5 star price. The staff is very nice.

In the framework of the open day, we met this hotel. The service is excellent and also on standard German. The Interior is in excellent condition. The staff is more than friendly. Quality and service from old school and more than pleasant.

Shi Weize Hough Zurich here really, super easy, just next to the station of Zurich and the hotel special Deluxe atmosphere, surrounding traffic is very convenient, really picked the right hotel, earlier also eat very satisfied, bright and spacious rooms, items placed neatly, bathroom also very aligned.

A gem and an oasis in the heart of Zurich, directly on the Bahnhofstrasse. Cordial hospitality with style and charm. Fine cuisine at La Soupière. For the wonderful host and hostess, and Maître d’hôtel, Helmut Stadlober, words fail me. This endearing Original, you simply need to personally learn to know and experience. The Schweizerhof, I recommend professionally and privately.

50. Wedding day: for this Celebration, we have a dignified and worthy place picked out, and have us for the Restaurant "La Soupière" decided. From the kitchen we were excellent cooks, and in the room by hotel staff very friendly and attentively served. We had a very pleasant time. It was an unforgettably beautiful evening. A big thanks to the whole Team. The Restaurant "La Soupière" is "Excellent" and only recommended.

I find the Schweizerhof Hotel is like a small ' Grand Hotel '.
I felt again very good in the Schweizerhof. The kindness and helpfulness of all staff is always felt. Many thanks to the whole team once again as a pleasant stay in Zurich was preparing me.
The breakfast buffet is one of the best in the world for me.
Free Wi-Fi and a good business corner is happy as sysadmins.
The location directly at the train station and the Bahnhofstrasse is unsurpassable.
I'm always here like to stay when I'm in Zurich.

My favourite Hotel in Zürich! I've stayed already a couple of times in this Hotel and I must say they still surprise me every time I return. They have very competent stuff that are extremely nice and overall it is just a great experience that must be seen.
