This hotel is in a great location and has a really good bar and restaurant on site. The staff here were amazing too. During our stay our little boy was ill and we were unable to travel home as planned. The hotel reception staff were wonderful… extending our room for us for an additional 2 nights, providing late check out whilst attending Dr’s appointments and offering lots of help whilst we were waiting to travel home. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again when in Zurich and would recommend to anyone.

I stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel! My room was quiet, spacious, and ideally located in Zurich’s most desired location for sightseeing. The restaurant was excellent and the front desk staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel!

One of our favorite places for drinks a d starters. We had a great service. Actually wonderful service. Piano music was fabulous.

We stayed at Central Plaza Hotel twice during the long layovers in Zurich. I had different rooms, both were great but the second room we had (611) was a top room with an absolutely gorgeous view of the city! The beds (and everything in the rooms) were very comfy, the hotel itself is very lovely and located in the historic center (we walked everywhere) and only 10 min ride away from the airport. The staff was super nice and the food at King's Cave (the restaurant) is really great as well (and a gorgeous decor! ). Definitely recommend!

A little pricey but all of Zurich is. Clean with great location and staff.

I attended a meeting there and the meeting room was big enough for 20 people. It was nice and well decorated. After the meeting, we had dinner there. The service was very nice and the food is not bad but quite expensive.

Nice staff. Good breakfast. Excellent beds. Room OK. Junior Suite, but a little small bathrooms. No air-conditioned. Anyway a good hotel to stay at. Very central.

Nice hotel. Was upgraded to a suite after I arrived early and room was not ready. Mini bar nicely stocked. Very clean. Staff extremely nice and very helpful.

One of the best locations to stay in Zurich. Some of the rooms have a very nice view of the lake. Hotel is 2 min walk from the main station. And 10 min from the lake. The rooms are a little smaller for the price but other than that it was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel restaurant has great food options.

This hotel was a good find as it is in the center of the city very close to the train station and to all the beautiful things at zurich has to offer. The food was pretty good and the personnel was very helpful so I would definitely stay there again.

The ambiance is very pleasant and the waiters very tollerant if you need a little longer in the selection. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby. Music is also played.

Great location on the canal. Directly across from the train station, many bus and city rail stops. Lots of places to eat nearby and shopping not far either. Very nice rooms but small for the price. Everything is quality. Two restaurants. Upstairs breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also has live music according to their schedule. Downstairs, King's Cave is a middle ages themed restaurant. Very good food and service. Paid parking is secure with escorted access underground. I had a good experience on the top floor room with view. It's Switzerland and you will spend some money. But the experience is good.

Disappointing experience post checkout — 22 days after checkout, we were charged 13 Swiss francs for a bottle of cognac from the mini bar which we did not take / drink. Attempts to resolve the matter have been left unanswered / with no reply. We stayed at the Central Plaza from 04.01.18 — 05.01.18. The charged appeared on my credit card on the 27th of January. From what I can see, there was no attempt to notify me of the charge although they had my email and phone number.

Good and nice hotel. Could easily get more stars if you could lower the temperature in the room. (Outside was to noisy to open window)

Very nice hotel in the heart of Zurich. Medium nice clean modern rooms with coffee making machine and all other amenities. Just a minute to station and 15 mins to airport. They offer 24/7 Gym. Good friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is usually not included in the room fares.

Good central location great service and good ambiance.

The room was available last minute (1 am), which I was very grateful for. However, although the room was very clean and comfortable, there was inconsistent information on pricing, and when I pointed out a small amount of water from the bathroom above they weren't very interested, and I would have expected better customer care.

The hotel is quite nice, very clean and tidy. Right across from the Zurich SBB and walking distance to most of Zurich! Restaurant is excellent, great food and great mood~ live jazz all night long! The only concern is no AC in room (or AC not working) and hard to sleep in the beginning but works out fine in the middle of the night… (couldn't open window during sleep because the train station is right across from room)

The drinks were good, the service was good. They answered any questions well. The dessert was nice. The guy playing the piano was off key every now and again but not too bad.

I just love the place. A beautiful building in one of my favorite cities in my land. A very good restaurant and a very nice piano bar. A stylish place very classy, attractive and unique in Switzerland. I always go there when i'm in Zurich and when I have time to stop.

Quiet, clean and exclusive rooms. Right in the middle of everything, no onsite parking but it was easy to unload the luggage and find a place to go.

A nice hotel in the heart of Zurich, very nice staff, good food in the bar with a piano singer every now and then. The only draw back is the size of the rooms, which are quite small.

Super central location in beautiful rooms. Many outlets for laptop and open Wi-Fi without registration. Unfortunately, a part of the restaurant is often locked. Otherwise top.
Lunch:
Good card with cheap menus for a business lunch. Recommended: the beef tartare.
Dinner:
Dinner in the King's Café (a knightly cellar with a pleasant candlelight atmosphere) : one of the highly recommended central locations in Zurich for meetings with business partners, as well as for romance.

The best hotel rooms I ever was allowed to stay in the. It took fr. 280. — but the room was huge:
-Double bed with lots of pillows, very convenient
-Bathroom and shower (glass) free standing bathtub
I give only a star deduction because the gentleman at the front desk was a bit surly, but I can recommend this hotel definitely!

Hotel location good, in downtown, very convenient, opposite coop … and, if need something, can buy. From the old city and not too far of a walk it can be reached. The hotel provides Parking, it is best to advance. Price ok. Swiss hotels are more expensive. Honeymoon hotel, sweet little set, however, a slight loss of gear, time ~ and Breakfast is not rich, it is very General. Value is not high.

Not great at all, over-priced, furniture from the 1970s, uncomfortable.

Dire. Avoid. Unpleasant. Lifeless. Cheap is the only reason to stay.

We stayed at Central plaza for two nights during September. It was pretty hot and the AC/temperature control was not functioning very well. It was getting very warm in the room. We had to keep windows open for some air but then it was very very noisy. There was no coffee maker in the room which is a bit disappointing for me personally. Other than this, it is a pretty decent hotel. Good rooms with great location. Very close to train station and in front of tram station which makes it very convenient to commute in the city.

Great steak in kings cave.

We booked a room on promotion "Last minute", which we paid 170 CHF instead of the 420 CHF ("normal" rate advertised on the door, but do they actually rent it äè ëàá this price or is it still on sale? ). Fortunately! Tiny and Dark room (a single little window supposedly with view, but actually overlooking the train station… you have to bend over to see the Limmat! ), small bed (140) and very soft mattress (sheets and quilt on the other hand are very good quality) Very narrow bathroom, non-advertised paid parking (27 francs per night) and expensive breakfast. In short, apart from its central location indeed close to everything, there is no point in choosing this hotel rather than another, especially since in the city center, there are a plethora of three and four star hotels that certainly compete easily with this one! Conclusion: We will not go back.

Clean rooms, good view of the city, and relatively inexpensive. Its a short walk from the city's "main street", Bahnhofstrasse, and a few steps away from the old town.
