Friendly staff, helpful. Conference room very nice. Clean and well stocked with everything you might need.

8th floor rooms have a balcony. Bathrooms are old but nice large tubs with separate shower. Internet is a bit slow but free. 1st floor has good bar. Close to major restaurant district. Cannot get Hilton points even though Hilton is the owner. No complimentary bottled water in room but has hot pot to boil water for tea. Overall, would come again and ask for 8th floor room.

Stayed there for one night with my family. I had ordered early check-in at 10am but when we arrived around 1pm the room was not ready. And we were told to try again in one hour. The room was small and modern but a bit raw. The breakfasts was great, loads of food! We ate dinner at the restaurant, it was so good and the price was great. The hotel is in a great location, close to the central sration.

The Scandic Crown of Gothenburg is a really nice hotel. The location is great, within 5 minutes walk of the Central station and walking distance to many of the city's tourist attractions. The breakfast offered by the hotel is excellent with many options including some for specialized diets. The room we had was basic but very clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

Central and thus close to basically anything of importance. The lobby has a clean and modern touch, and the rooms are likewise. Stayed here a few times, unfortunately, never made it to breakfast.

Very good hotel close to the station and city centre. Tram stop in front of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and silent with local designed furniture. Breakfast really good and complete. No wardrobe but some hangers. Small towels.

Just went there for so be light drinks and snack food. Clean well presented area. Service was prompt and polite.

I met with two friends who stayed at Scandic Crown, Polhemsplatsen in Gothenburg, but I did not see their rooms. Hotel exterior very nice and reception had great service mind set. Called my friends rooms so we could meet and do the town.

Great breakfast, small but ok gym and nice hot tub and sauna on the top floor.

Last weekend I visited that hotel with a person on wheelchair.
Took us next to an hr to find parking space, as all garage parkings was far booked.
Floors and bed over blankets and back up pillows. Room 783. Filthy!
On Saturday as a grooup we were served dinner. I recieved a burger that was an insult to ANY diner, not to mention a 4 star hotel. Meat was dried and basically killed. Probably waited under the lamp waiting for another meal to be ready. Lettuce warm and suggy, I asked for carmelized onion on the side. Did not get any, although it was a part of a burger. Cheese burned on top. Bread dried. An older waitress lady seamed to be anoyed with taking orders, water came half way through the meal.
Anorher persons duck was overcooked and chewy, and medium loin was close to well done. I wish I could post some pictures.
Overhall for me as a chef — the dining experience was terrible.
Some serious coaching on how to apply timing on group cooking is needed.
Although none was willing to say anything about the food I feel like a Head Chef needs to know that his cooks are working on his/hers reputation as well as on the hotels rating.
2 stars are given for location, nice music in lobby and to those who had no influence on my experience, hoping that there are some dedicated peopple there as well — folks who know, and like what they do. Good luck.

Superb hotel, comfortable room, there is everything we need. Staff is very polite, always help more I need. Great playroom for children, queen's breakfast, much vegan and other food — it's more than enough to start the day with a smile :) Sauna, jacuzzi and relax area on 8th floor, it's great possibility to go outside to the roof and enjoy the wonderfull view. Amazing hotel!

Pleasant as a whole. The Hotel is close to the central station and most of the bus and tram lines.

En gång byggt som ett prestige-hotell I Scandic-kedjan. Nu är det ett standard Scandic-hotell med anonyma rum och väggfast inredning. Standard-frukost. Trevlig personal och gratis lånecyklar drar upp betyget något. Rummen åt Stampgatan störs av oväsen från passerande spårvagnar dygnet runt.

OK for a couple of nights. Good location to visit the city.
