Cool place to stay. Nice crew and great location.

Great central location. Try and get a room away from the platforms so early announcements don’t wake you.

Booked on line — £191.00 — arrived & charged £199 despite a discussion. Took ages to check in. Key cards didn't work so went down 7 flights back to reception — grummpy duty manager didn't apologise, took key, reprogrammed it & handed it back without exchanging a single word. Rude, just rude.

Superb hotel with excellent staff.

Great central location. It's above the train station, trams are in front of the hotel, a short walk to a shopping mall right in front of the hotel. Inside the mall turn left at the Tourist Information Office, exit, & you are on the main shopping street. Walk down to the canal you'll find boat tours & a beautiful park. Breakfast at the hotel is great… lots of choice. Rooms are smallish with very narrow college dorm style beds with hot duvets. It takes a while to figure out how to turn on the shower & adjust temperature. Slippery bathtub & floor… be careful. No shower curtains as we know them in North America… you will get water ALL OVER THE BATHROOM! I guess that's why the bathroom floor is heated. Unassuming lobby that could do with some sprucing up if not some new furniture.

Service was alright, though not terribly fast. Drinks were, as you'd expect in a hotel bar, very expensive and unfortunately not great. Unfortunately the seating is divided by the main way in to the hotel, so many people walk past all the time.

Centrally located hotel (above the main station). Rooms are standard Scandinavian size with wooden floors and those weird showers every hotel here has. The rooms are very quiet, but you can't open the windows. Breakfast is very good (a bit crowded at times) and the gym has some decent equipment.

Very convenient location at the train station, friendly staff and great breakfast. Just let down by the lack of aircon. The room was too hot so it was difficult to sleep and no easy way to cool it down even with the thermostat on it's lowest setting.

I was here at the first G hotel in October of 2017! Had a one week stay there, and it was great! the rooms were nice. I had a single room that looked into the art gallery of the hotel; the hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was suitable for all cultures. The desk attendants were phenomenal. Especially when in didn't know to use my credit card in another country I needed a pin number. ***giggles*** this was my first time out of the country. Great stay with good access to the city! a nice station mall connected.

Clean modern hotel in a perfect location to explore Gothenburg. Bus and train links literally just outside, fun nightlife a short walk away, quiet rooms, tram stops just outside, nearby parks and canal rides, friendly helpful reception. Comfy twin beds & modern bathroom. I will stay again as it was perfect for our needs.

Ideal Location, right next to the Bus Station and across the Street you come to a large Shopping mall. With a 5 min Walk you can find yourself in a beautiful Park by The Palm House and great Gardens. On the Shore you can enjoy the Evening hours. The Harbour is a 7-Minute walk away.

Great place to stay while in Göteborg. Close to marina and city centre. Perfect communication with local airport. Service was great, as well as breakfasts. I highly recommend that place for a weekend stay.

The furniture in the rooms is not very clean.

Good but not mind-blowing given the price. The Breakfast is really nice though.

Nice hotel with a convenient location inside of the train station and an upscale feel. The room was basic looking but comfortable. Breakfast was included in the rate and offered a decent selection of a typical European style.

Good location. Clean room and wide.
Located right in the building of the station, to the elevators access only to the guests. Close to attractions places that are all either in the south or in the west of the hotel.
Great breakfast, which is included in the price.

Great hotel with a friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are well equipped and luxurious. The breakfast was excellent even for me, a vegetarian.

Nice hotel integrated into the central station and annexed mall. Well connected with the different parts of the city and walking distance to the city center. The rooms are well organized and comfortable, the bathroom spacious and clean. The Wi-Fi connection is good and the breakfast various and tasty.

Disappointing. Very hard to access if you have a car. Avarage rooms with no extras. The architecture is interesting though (just above the train station)

Conveniently on top of the station and close to shopping centre. Clean room, comfortable bed, good variety for breakfast, didn't try gym. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Hotel is very convenient located on the train station. But you can't hear them. Service is very good and a royal breakfast is included not forgetting the free fitness area for guests. Free Wi-Fi is also included, but it was a challenge to get it to work. Once it worked it disconnected several times. The heating in the room is either defective or I'm not doing it right.

First Hotel G is a modern hotel, conveniently located in the center of Gothenburg and right above its central station. Nice design. Spacious and stylish room with all the amenities (plus Spa & gym). Great choice.

Very comfortable in the central station, nice clean rooms, very nice staff and great variety for breakfast. Good value for money Only downside: the rooms overlook other rooms, there is not a view.

Great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were able to hear the station announcements in our room.

Firat Hotel G er midt I blinken for de som er på helgetur til Gøteborg. Perfekt beligghet midt I sentrum I umiddelbar nærhet til buss — og togterminalen. Rommene er rene og ryddige (unntak denne gangen da det var gammel godteri og støv under sengen) og servicen er bra. Vennlig personale. Flott frokost, men mangler varm sjokolade fpr å gjøre frokosten min perfekt.

The location is really good, right at the Central station. Service was quick and simple and there is a room for luggage storage. Rooms were great and really comfortable. Best of all was the breakfast buffet — it was excellent! All in all a very good stay and I highly recommend this place.

Chic, modern hotel.
Room Superior Double is pleasantly large with 28 sqm. Facilities in the room was OK. There is no window, and when the ventilation is spinning… Fußbödenheizung in the bathroom top.
The spa area is very well maintained and Saturday morning empty;-)
Breakfast selection Great, sideboard should you practice, no fish to choose from.
Had a Monday Room: heating/ventilation and radio defective (lack central and well known), too few towels (1 set for 2 people — was passed), sink drain defective (was fixed), bathrobes defective, no cutlery to the ordered fruit platter.
Check out: Although everything was paid before, one wanted to make invoices about help, enlightenment done, no excuse trip was with dog, was charged expensive (20 euro PN) without any benefit.

Excellent stop on a multi week tour. Service and amenities were spot on. No complaints.

Awesome location. Though it is a bit noisy around, the room are quite. Clean rooms but they don't have beautiful views. Nice and polite staff.

Modern hotel, clean and bright. Rooms were a little small but comfortable. Breakfast was very good with good variety.

Nice hotel very convenient bus service attached to the hotel but the dinner menu is not so varied but you eat well maybe a little high prices instead the breakfast is poor of sweets to review.

Convenient location close to the city center. Directly above the main train station makes arrival and departure real easy. Busses from the airport stop here as well. The breakfast buffet provides enough options (also gluten free). Although close to the tracks I did not hear one train. Neighbors can be heard but it's not too bad. Rooms are spacious enough to relax after walking through the city. Staff and atmosphere was nice.

Located in the bus terminal but surprisingly quiet, the service and rooms are good. I was pleasantly surprised with the sauna which is in good condition and warm already 10am. If you like us need a place from where to take excursions into Gothenburg being in the terminal makes things easy.

"No sleep after the horse stampede started" (-) In the room we were and its opposite in the corridor, you cannot sleep in the morning. When people wake up to breakfast (~6:30am as breakfast starts at 7:00am) it sounds like a horse stampede as stairs are made on wood. We had arrived too early to check in, left to an event, arrive quite late again and tired and the hotel staff didn't tell us anything. And we chose this hotel because we had to catch a 11:30am train next day and wanted a good sleep. When we communicated with staff there in the morning they advised us to communicate up to management: Do something about this! Or leave these rooms empty otherwise. If you are given these rooms as a client, please, ask to be placed somewhere else. Rooms affected: x16 and x17 in each floor. Too late checkin: 15pm. You should try to change that also. (+) The bed and cleanliness of rooms are very good.

Seemingly relatively recently done-up hotel located within the central station. Therefore close to most central attractions and with excellent tram and bus service to the more peripheral ones. The hotel seems geared towards business travelers and the service reflects that — professional without being obsequious, efficient without being impersonal. I like that at check-in they asked if I wanted a shower or a bath. The room was quite big for this type of place, and felt spacious and light. Very clean. Unfortunately most of the rooms face the inner courtyards, so not much of a view. The bed was big and comfy, but the pillows small and insubstantial. Needed almost two and a half for decent support. People with bad necks should bring their own or ask if alternatives are available. Breakfast was OK, and has all the basics, but I would've wanted to see a better cereal and muesli selection.

Nice location, room had large bed, good shower, hairdryer and kettle. Good room, lovely people at reception.

Convenient and superb room conditions.

Hotel is actually built on top of the train station, design is ingenious. Outer walls are steel and glass, set up a lot of space inside the room and guest rooms. Winters will be warmer, but I came in the summer. Breakfast free, behind the restaurant at the front desk, but grades. Fitness Center didn't try. No dental equipment and slippers.

Super hotel, near to the center of the city, also near to the train and bus station, room very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast.

Great hotel. Conveniently located near the heart of the city. Rooms are comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance.

We thought it was a great hotel, perfect if you are arriving by train, as it is located at the central station. The signs to the hotel, however, could have been better, it took a while to find it. The rooms were clean and the beds were great. The bathroom was clean and you could choose if you wanted to have a shower or bath. We asked for a window, because we think that it is uncomfortable with the room without a window. We were then asked if we wanted to have a view, and that we wanted, so we got an excellent view over the city centre of Gothenburg. Breakfast was also great, there were a lot of fruit and many different kinds of bread. I am vegan, but there was sojayoghurt, soy milk, and jam to have on the bread. I asked if they had mjölkfritt margarine, but the only thing they had in addition to the butter was becel, which is not vegan. They then asked what it was about is entirely vegetable, and I answered Carlshamns, so they might take it. I really recommend this hotel.

Nice and good hotel in every way. Nice rooms, comfortable bed (says I who have bad back), nice staff, good breakfast. The only thing that pulls down the rating was that it smelled a little drain in the restroom before the visit! Location is excellent, close to everything! Will be happy.

Very good quality overall, would recommend it for sure. No noisy at all, rooms are modern and comfortable, just the bathroom could be improved. Everything very clean.

Nice breakfast buffet — beware of the overly salted scrambled eggs — and clean. Service misses cleaning at times though, and I've stayed here four times at four years' time.

This is a great and unusual hotel. Right above the train and bus station, it was especially convenient for a late night arrival, as the flygbussarna train from the airport stops just a few metres from the entrance. The hotel has a boutique edge and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast is great and you can see the train departure board and bus departure gates from the lobby and restaurant windows, making an early bus/train stress-free. There is a 7-11 below the hotel and the rooms are quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Okay service, mediocre rooms, not worth the money IMO. Convenient location though.
