Great hotel staff with stunning architecture to match. Highly recommend.

Good place to stay, rooms are comfortable. The employee's are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, bar and restaurant are open during day and evening. Around the hotel you will find all the necessary for your stay (Restaurant, shop's etc…).

I enjoyed my 1 week stay in Elite Plaza Hotel. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the bed very posh. The breakfast is super with healthy choices. Accessibility is great, even from the airport with bus.

Good and nice hotel, with good breakfast, the most I liked was the service and how they helped with info about were and how to go to different places, the bar just under the hotel was amazing. Really nice days.

Stayed for four nights during the Gothia Cup, 16th — 20th August. Shared double room, reasonable size, very clean comfortable bed, quiet. Very warm, internal control of air flow not adequate. Open window not possible due to noise from seagulls! Hotel provided fan. Staff sometimes a bit vague — poorly trained: bar man/waiter not knowing where rest rooms were, offered his best guess, reception staff ignorant of car parking. But always friendly and wonderful English. Breakfast selection was great. Times also perfect 7am to 11am.

The reception staff are friendly and very professional — really helpful. Rooms are fine and comfortable. For those wanting to watch TV in bed avoid room 305. Breakfast — good quality and range. Definitely want to come again — apart from National holidays and Ssturdays the room rates are very fair for Gothenburg.

The rooms are really well maintained and posh. The hotel is an old building but quote beautiful and centrally located. Overall a place I would really recommend.

Great location in the beautiful downtown. Nice rooms — a mix of the old charm with the modern comfort. Good food and service.

Terrible! Our room have very small windows facing a VERY noisy alley. The interior design feels old and has "dents" here and there which was very surprising! Cleaning looks very sloppy with dirty mirrors and dirty bathroom details. Hotel breakfast needs a update from only serving meat with no options for a vegetarian. Also had a VERY rude experience with the bar personel at Bishops arms on the bottom floor and noisy bar! The service was not very accommodating and I would only recommend the hotel for its cool lobby or location. I would never recommend this place : (

Check in went smooth. Room kind of dark but Very comfy beds, had to upgrade from a single bed to a Queensize bed. Room is not spacious. Bathtub is a nice plus and the breakfast is delicious.

Beautiful old hotel, great staff, great breakfast, and good amenities. Only letdown is that the hotel shows it's age and many walls should be touched up.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are a bit dark but the beds are great. The bathroom is a bit small, the shower is okay again. The Breakfast is also super again.

The location of the hotel is very nice, close to the center but no noise disturbance.
To be a five star I think the rooms were not up to par, the bed quite uncomfortable (in Sweden they are not usually comfortable, but this for my most uncomfortable taste of the account), that there was a pillow menu.
Very small rooms and the bathroom. Everything was very clean, but I expected something else.
The breakfast was very good and the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and the rooms were very nice.

Clean, if small, rooms, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Skip the English pub in the basement, there are better options less than a block away. As an additional bonus, the hotel Wi-Fi is very fast, and available everywhere in the block, including the English pub.

Amazing place in the heart of Gothenburg. Friendly and efficient staff members. Housekeeping was doing an excellent job. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Only downside, the quality and the variety of the breakfast buffet is not on 5* level.

Awesome hotel, they have the best breakfast the beds are really comfortable and really soft pillows for a good night's sleep.

Fairly decent hotel in the centre of Göteborg. Location is great and you can go to the gym close by (Friskis&Svettis), which was fantastic! However, despite looking fantastic outside, the hotel interior looks quite dated, i. E. English style with fixed carpets and a wooden toilet seat), the shower is similar to a wet room, so when you take a shower, the bathroom floor is completely wet, the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear absolutely everything, breakfast is so so and as the breakfast room is quite small with all items concentrated in 1 place, it feels too crowded.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. However, our room was a bit strange. It had an alcove with a desk and tv. The alcove was pretty dark and the TV was only visible from one side of the bed and also then it was a bit too far away. There was a comfy armchair for watching the tv, but only one.

Not as good as it should be a 5 star hotel. Breakfast not plentiful and with limited choice.

Beautiful building, friendly staff, small ish room, breakfast was OK (but not the feast we were hoping for).

The hotel was OK, I would not say it is a 5 star hotel. Comfortable beds, nice big bathroom. The first night we got a room facing the street and could hardly sleep because if the noise from a nearby night club, even though it was in the middle of the week. It was so loud earplugs didn't fully help. Staff super friendly and accommodating and we were moved to a more quiet room the following night. As far as hotel breakfasts go it was good.

Stayed here in the week running up to Midsummer. Lovely hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff. Hotel is in an excellent location for food, trams, ferry and shopping. The Barn in the next street does the best burgers you will ever have. Only issue was staying in room 220 was the noise until 3am of a club in the side street and deliveries at 5am but other than that I'd stay again.

Had a friend staying over and we met up for breakfast. I can't understand how they keep their 5 stars. Just because you have marble and pillars all over the place it doesn't make it a great hotel. Staff is confused, sent me running all over the place when I said I would like to pay for breakfast, no one knew who should charge me. After that I needed to change diapers on the kid and asked the reception if they had a toilet with a table for the kid. "Go check the pubs toilets"…?! The toilets that are part of the restaurant area are disgusting! And no changing table for the baby, gave up and changed diapers in the pram, in the back of their lobby … got a lot of angry looks from staff. Remove at least one star…

Very good breakfast. Really don't know what to complain about that.?! Nice (single) room. Warm atmosphere and furniture and attention paid to details. I will be back.

A nice room did not make up for the fact that you can get a far better breakfast at most two star business hotels for a fraction of the price. From the buffé bread was out, knifes and glasses where missing, the warm milked had not been refilled and most condiments where down to what could be scraped from the bottom of the jar. For a five star hotel this is nothing short of a real embarrassment.
