From the very beginning, the experience starts with the arrival.

This hotel sure is a "lot". Just look at the pictures. They chose a style and then went all-in for sure. All in all they achieved what they were going for though.

If we could give them a higher review we would. We booked in the upper house. Before seeing our room they upgraded us to perhaps the best room in the whole place.

Nice location close to everything. We did an extra bed in room which does not make the room very large, but it works.

A very welcoming place! Cozy and clean rooms, beautifully decorated, delicious breakfast and homemade cakes and cookies available for the guests all day.

One of my most memorable experiences staying at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Gothenburg happened on a cold winter night.

Walkable distance (5 mins) from central station. 15 minutes walk to local ferries. Rooms were very clean including toilets. Large sitting places and surprisingly quiet for such a large hotel.

Very nice and cosy hotel central in Gothenburg. But something to keep in mind is that the beds are very soft but that is also the only thing we can say that we would change about the hotel.

This is an independent family-run hotel in an old building which gives it a lot of charm. The rooms have been renovated, but could use brighter lighting, including for the bedside lamps.

Lovely traditional hotel. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great breakfast buffet with good GF section. Lovely complimentary fika in the afternoon. Very helpful staff.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Royal in August this year. Since we have returned we have been busy with house renovations but I didn’t want to let the year end without writing a review of the hotel.

We thought our stay was absolutely fantastic, because it was as if we were brought back to 1859 through the hotel's interior, furniture and decorations that added a lot to our mental and emotional

Although we didn’t stay at the hotel, we had dinner at its restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The setting is traditional and spacious, with a classic charm.

Staff were very helpful, room was nice and big for two people. Great location, close to the central station and just a 20 minute walk to the city centre.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially families with a baby.

Hotel Lorensberg was an excellent base for my two-night concert trip to Gothenburg.

The Hotel is located in liseberg next to amusement park and indoor water park (oceania).
Overall experience is pleasant and delightful.

We stayed for two nights, 07/12/26 to 09/12/26 for a visit to the amusement park. What a place. It is decorated brilliantly in a sort of oriental and steam punk way.

The hotel is centrally and generally ok while the rooms are pretty small. The service is limited, there is a "barception" and room service would be only per 4 days.

What do some of the people writing reviews expect? It is cheaper than a lot of hotels in the area, that is why you chose it, so do not expect 5 star treatment.

Great value for money — a lovely room with Breakfast, Fika, and Evening Meals included. The staff were happy, friendly & helpful at all times, it was a pleasure to be there.

We stayed for 5 nights for our cold water swimming trip. Our twin room was small but had everything we needed and the beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable.

Locations, great. Hotel is situated about a 10-15 minute walk from town centre, its a quiet area. Though its very easy to reach town centre. Tram station about 5 minutes away.

Its location is close to the tram and bus stop.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was okay, but we would have preferred the sofa to be removed.

Very nice hotel! The classic romantic style is very nice and the rooms are very good as well. Mine was a petite one and it was very spacious.

Mrs C and I took the private jet to Gothenburg for a mini break. I booked this hotel as it looked quirky, had good reviews and the Grand Curioso where I had stayed before was fully booked.

We were 12pers. Family rooms were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good as it should be. Teens got free mocktails in the evening. Reception people were professional and kind!

Stayed at Scandic Crwon 2 nights August 31st — September 1st with family (wife and 9 year old) and a friend (mom and 13 year old) for a visit to Liseberg.
The staff was friendly, helpful and patient.

Clean enough and quiet place to sleep. However depending on when you arrive there might be no staff on site. Lacking a vibe, feels a bit soulless.

Stayed here Monday till Wednesday was pleasant enough. Very quite and friendly extremely close to theme park which works for us as that is why we went.

Simple and basic rooms, a fan that was on almost all the time, part of ventilation so not possible for us to turn off.
Bathroom was ok, small shower and a cheap not well sound proofed door.
