➜ Far too expensive for what you get! Checking in has lasted forever for sure half an hour, although over booking. Com had already transmitted all the data). After arriving and taking a shower, the stand fell on my foot while hanging up to welder. Then it started the drop: the sink was leaking, the whole bath flooded. Despite promising that it will be repaired while we go out to eat, neither has anything been repaired nor cleaned! We then insisted on a room change at night! No one has apologised! At the reception nobody really speaks English, the breakfast buffet was rather cheap, the atmosphere there more canteen than hotel! Cleanliness was ok, not much more, furnishing very sterile and unloving!
➜ Not a 5-star hotel according to European standards, but for local conditions: chic hotel, totally friendly staff, from check in to pool service. Pleasant atmosphere and quiet, also by the beautiful pool. Great bathroom.
Direct access to the beach. Beautiful view from the room to the sea.
Recently completed, hence probably some negative reviews. Have already taken in guests when there was still a construction site here. No more now.
Breakfast is not quite my taste, but they are, as we all know, different.
We haven't tried dinner here, we prefer to go out to small local restaurants in the evening. And there is a small disadvantage — There is not much in the surrounding area. But for 300 rupees take the Tuktuk a little north to Uppuveli, there are plenty of restaurants. More than directly in Trincomalee, it seems to me.

I can't say anything about the price performance ratio. We booked when it just opened. Was super special offer. Costs significantly more today.
The access from the main road does not look like a good hotel waiting there. Maybe it will be paved.
Conclusion: For us great hotel at the end of a round trip.

Very pleasant stay, we arranged some discount and ocean view rooms. The rooms are nice spacious, with a very nice balcony connecting with the swimming pool area and view at sea. The bathroom were nice, only in one room the bathroom odor was a bit smelly… luckily they put some refreshing odor in it. The breakfast was good, and well stuffed only con is the cook because he didn't know how to cook, even other staff members and customers complained about it. We got an under cooked tuna and even a RAW peace of chicken in the cordon-blue. Other than the cook, the whole place is very nice and well organized. The staff members are very polite and helpful especially front manager Darshan, perhaps the best front manager we saw in whole Sri Lanka. The pool is very nice and big and also clean, they also have a nice 20m to the nice sand beach… just lovely, also you can order food on the beach inside the dining 'boat' which looks very good. Overall, it is one of the best price-quality hotels we came across in Sri Lanka… It even has a gym, which looks very well equipped, only missing a bench-press and some more weight-plates. Would definitely recommend this place! With some effort they can easily become one of the famous hotels in Trinco.
