Grupotel Alcudia Pins 3 SUP

Closeness to beach. Literally at the back of the hotel is a stunning beach with clear blue water. Cabana and 2 Sun loungers can be rented for 21 euro. Just sit down and the man will walk round and take your money for it no need to find him and it’s separate to hotel.
Food was great always something different. On the seafood night they had salmon, crab legs, lobster claws, loads of options and tasty.
Always plenty of sun beds available. No towel drop before 10am. But never had to rush always somewhere to sit.
Ok now the not so great.
1. All inclusive alcoholic drink options are not good. You are offered one beer (Amstrel) cocktails are extra and not cheap.
2. Location is a 20 euro taxi each way to alcudia town. There is a bus not sure on price.
3. Nighttime entertainment for the young kids starts too late 8pm mini disco the kids are tired.
4. Dated bathrooms.

I would advise nobody to attend this hotel. There is a huge outbreak of viral hand foot and mouth that the hotel are desperately trying to cover. If you type in the hotel name followed by "hand foot and mouth" you will see many reviews and news articles stating this has been going on for years.
This hotel is the most unhygienic place I have ever stayed, the cleaning standards are diabolical that is making many babies extremely ill and nobody cares. The high chairs and cots are not cleaned. They are old scratched and contaminated.
My 9 month old baby took very ill so I took him to the on site Dr who told me there is a breakout out of hand foot and mouth. He was so poorly that I tried to get a late check out in order to try and stay away from others and keep my baby away from other germs. The receptionist response was "so what many baby ill check out at 12 not possible late check out". When I spoke to tui rep about this I was told there is no outbreak no babies have been ill they would have been informed if there was and they can't help me. I was not prepared to accept these lies and asked the rep to attend the Dr surgery with me to which he did and the Dr confirmed he had seen 3 cases that same day. This is 3 cases of an extremely contagious viral infection that see the Dr in one day. It cost €95 to see the Dr so this does not include the people who would have just gone straight to the chemist 3 mins away.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay, as our first family holiday with our 10 month old baby. I was very nervous about the hotel, due to some of the awful reviews I was reading, however I shouldn’t have worried, as we had an amazing time!
The hotel is 3* and absolutely meets that rating, if not boarding 4* in our opinion. Our 1 bedroom apartment was plenty spacious with lots of storage and great kitchenette facilities. The travel cot for our baby was great, we paid extra for a high chair and steriliser which were all waiting for us in the room when we arrived. The bathroom is on the dated side, however we found it to be clean and served its purpose. Our room was cleaned every day, apart from Sunday which didn’t cause us any issues, always fresh towels left and bedding changed each time.
The main restaurant is great, with a separate area for families with young children. The staff in there were incredible, so friendly to our baby and constantly cleaning any food dropped by babies/children. The food for us was great, you get the usual chips, pizza and pasta, however there was also something new every day! Breakfast was amazing, so many options. Lunch options could be improved.
The location is just beautiful. If you are looking for a quiet area and right on the beach front, it is perfect, the beach is stunning. If you want to go out and about, there are buses every 10 mins from the main road outside the hotel.
Overall, I feel the reviews made me stress for no reason.
