Really pleased that we chose this hotel for our 4 night stay in Madrid. It's only a 20 minute (30 euro) ride from the airport and in a very affluent part of town with excellent restaurants and shops all around. It's a new, boutique hotel furnished in an art deco style with a nod to Rennie Mackintosh — very nice. The rooms (only 40 or so) are modern, clean and quiet, so couldn't be faulted. The breakfasts were great and the food just kept on coming! There's also a nice 'VIP' guest area to come back to at the end of the day for free coffee and cake too! Reception was never busy and they were really helpful in helping us get around, recommend places to eat, print tickets, etc. It makes such a refreshing change to find that. Thank you!
Totally astonished!. The hotel has been a real discovering. All features of a 5* hotel + the most warming welcome & friendly / professional staff. Location unbeatable. As a frequent business traveller, I’m a very demanding customer, platinum member @ SPG & Marriott hotels; use to be guest at Westin Palace Madrid & The Principal. After trying. Icon Casona 1900, I know where to stay in my next trips to Madrid.

It was a real pleasure staying here. The room was great, nice and very comfortable bed and pillows, for those who enjoy a good bath, the shower was an absolute posivite experience, rain type with strong pressure.
