Very nice European hotel. The bathroom is a bit tight to manoeuvre. The staff are very friendly and there is always someone who can speak English.

Everything in the hotel is very comfortable, the location perfect, the attention, the service is excellent. I didn't see anything negative or to improve it, is perfect!

If are going to train people, they should start with the managers and the people that sell timeshares! we acquired one and it is nothing of what we were promised in the presentation, very high maintenance fees and the worst of all is that we could not use our membership freely because there was never availability, so after years of suffering and is finding out we were able to cancel it, if anyone else is going through something similar and want to get rid of their timeshare do not hesitate to send me an inbox, I'll gladly pass the information, greetings and never return to melia resorts.

I thought the Hotel was great until I received my bill on checking out yesterday. I had asked for an upgrade to a family room when I realised how small our Premium room that had been originally booked was. My travel agent had contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to ask about an upgrade. She was told there were 3 supreme Family rooms available at an additional cost of 190 euro per night. As we were only an hour away we were told they would discuss the upgrade on our arrival.
The reception staff told us on checking in that the supreme family room available had no view of the street just the internal view of windows of other rooms. This room was quoted as 190 euro extra. I was told a junior suite had better views & was bigger at a cost of 300 euro extra per night. I asked to see both but was then told there were no junior suites available for our 1st night but they’d show me the supreme family room with no views other than into other rooms windows.
I had to wait for this to be cleaned & was then shown the room & at ALL times it was called a family room & quoted at 190 euro extra per night. I decided to take the family room anyway as we needed the space.
After 3 nights I was given the bill & we were rushing for flights so I didn’t check the charge properly until I arrived at the airport. We were charged 310 euro extra per night!
I rang the Hotel immediately on my arrival in London & was told no I’d been in a junior suite.

Absolutely in love with this hotel. All the staff was warm and very helpful, plus their breakfast buffet was delicious. On our arrival day, we were greeted with a dessert and a bottle of champagne which I found to be a very thoughtful detail. Our room was clean during our whole stay and they even helped us set our AC to a really cold setting (around 65°F) which I don't think is as common in Spain. Lastly, the location of this hotel was great. So happy we chose this hotel for our honeymoon.

Amazing Hotel! It was very close to the city center and right next to the tour bus stop. The staff were very nice and gave us nothing but great attention. Also the free breakfast was excellent. I would definitely love to stay here again if I ever return to Spain.

One of the best hotels of the city, small in terms of number of rooms but best to esoss great entrepreneurs who want to spend there a few days, I start to recommend to my clients they come from Ecuador a few days to Madrid. You can not stop to have breakfast in your hotel, or try those cocktails with the sun and the days longer.

Experience horrible, we reserve the SUIT, PAUL in a room Network Lebel supposedly have a deal more exclusive, consists of two connected rooms, the furniture is ancient, the carpeting old and neglected, the space toilet small and without bidet, we had no amenities, nor shoes, nor nothing special and the service except for two people leaves much to be desired. The only good thing is the location,
We will not go back to repeat.

Normally the environment is Grnte business and/or foreigners.
Nice and very well located. You can not always walk through the terrace, sometimes you have to enter through the reception of the hotel. In winter the indoor lounge is also very nice.

We spent a day at the hotel in Red Level room with Jacuzzi and we loved it. Impeccable attention, super comfortable room, the lounge of Red Level We liked a lot, great variety of snacks during the day and drinks of all kinds. Even one night, but this whim is something you like, and once you have to indulge yourself.

Spanish luxury group hotel, that comes with in house Hard Rock cafe. Located in close proximity to Archaeological Museum (a must see) and the plethora of luxury shops and boutiques.

The staff and their excellent attention. Hotel facilities in general good but deficient the size of the classic room which in any case should only be offered to the customer as individual.

Very nice staff, always in place to help. The kitchen is recommended. For a 5-star-house as a LHW, however, the required room size, as a status customer, is an absolute no-go.

Gran Melia Fenix is an exceptional hotel, and my wife and I very much enjoyed our stay during our honeymoon! The staff is on-point, pleasant, and always professional, and the grounds are exceptional in a nicely renovated building with grand staircase. A great bar on-site (Dry Martini) and another on the rooftop with decent enough views makes the hotel itself fun too. We found the location excellent as it is close to the museums (if you don't mind a walk, which we do not), and a lot of great eating (which we also like to do), and also some pretty good shopping (those mostly high-end designers with an occasional Mango mixed in) ; fantastic neighborhood though! I'd definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful hotel! Stayed in Jr. Suite and it was perfect. Good restaurants and bars in walking distance. Hotel bar was great, a bit pricey, but not unexpected at a hotel of this caliber.

I have always stayed in the rooms RedLevel, where it offers an even more exclusive service yet, such as: Private check-in/check-out late/open-bar lounge snacks and drinks open all day/terrace with Jacuzzi and solarium/butler service/ Free ironing/Nespresso machine in the room… — Rooms: Classic style But with all the modern equipment precise. Very comfortable bed. Pillow menu, bathrobe and slippers. Clarins Brand bathroom amenities.
-Breakfast: If you stay in RedLevel room, you can have a buffet breakfast at the RedLevel Lounge, an exclusive lounge. Quality and variety. You can order hot dishes at the moment and natural juices to taste.
The hotel has parking (30 €/day). It also has a very well equipped gym; A hairdresser and a Thai Room Wellness (an Oriental massage center).

Today I find myself in this hotel chain Meliá in Madrid. Apparently a very friendly hotel, we immediately analyze the hygienic conditions: dust and loose junk in the rooms and linen a little clean and a little perfumed. Breakfast good, wide choice of dishes, but the service leaves something to be desired. Dishes and cutlery that are not changed for long and the waiters a little attention to the details. Placemats and table 3 stars! I kindly ask if you can leave the room late check-out, but they tell me that I have to pay 100€ if I want to stay a few more hours. I would say that the customer is not at all pampered. We are still the guests of a hotel chain that holds us to its customers, but considers them to be just numbers. We are very far from 5 stars! Good job Meliá!

Our stay at The Grand Melia was one of the highlights of our vacation. The elegant salon was a gathering place for all guests.

We went to stay at hotel Meliá Fenix located in the famous plaza de Colón (Madrid) the price is very high for the service provided we were in Dry Martini and the cocktails are nothing exceptional, the only thing decent were the multitude of tees you have but will little thing because not tea like me. The experience was a Mediocre hotel, I will not, I do not recommend it.

Great hotel especially the Red Level boutique hotel inside. They treated us royally when we were there for our anniversary.

We are not yet able to make an assessment of their rooms because we have not hosted. However, both the reception as the bar Dry Martini are all for luxury, elegance and exclusivity.

I only saw the bar area. Very luxury, excellent service and everything was according to the expectations. I know the price of the night. But both the hotel and the location (next to the parque del retiro) are highly recommended to spend a few days in Madrid.

Here is beautiful, great location, staff members also have matching. Hotel looks a lot like the old century's style, but the Interior equipment as well as services are very modern. Even within a perfect hotel, the staff is outstanding. They can also be a little more enthusiastic, more easygoing. Worthy of special mention is the Beatrix gave us a great deal of help and love. She has observed in Madrid's understanding so that we can enjoy Madrid.

Room is old, Breakfast is very General, but in Europe most of this hotel belonging to a hotel, retro, make eligibility, as appropriate.

Live the Penthouse Suite, feeling good, the bed comfortable, the balcony large.

First, the hotel is beautiful inside (which doesn't end after the lobby like many others)! ALL of the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to needs, even going as far as upgrading my room to a suite because of an unexpected need upon arrival. The rooms (suite and standard) are immaculately decorated, clean, and well furnished. The bed was amazing! The free breakfast selection was actually satisfying large, and the hotel ameneties are many. The included guest credit is just icing on the cake. Check-in/check-out was a breeze, with no suprises. The whole experience was surprisingly refreshing. It's a bit embarrassing that other hotels charge what they do, and don't even approach this level of attention to luxury and customer service. Next time I'm in Madrid, this will be my go to.

Love the hotel and the included breakfast and red room that came with suite we stayed in. Surrounded by high end dining and shopping. It is the Beverly Hills of Madrid.

The Dry Martini is a unique site, stunning décor, exquisite atmosphere and the best cocktails prepared with a special dedication own from the high bar. It is a bar, super famous Javier de las Muelas and certainly offers us enjoy the good times. You can taste a variety of tapas-style gourmet. Highly recommended.

The style of the Ritz or Westin Palace, a stately hotel and I love to enjoy the lounge, Javier de las Muelas, which always has a new drink, or any product to show. Also rent rooms of very good level. In spring and summer it is a luxury to enjoy its terrace. Complicated thing in the parking lot, although they are the new subways, right in front of them there is a small, charged almost double than the others. Very good attention of the waiters and the input service.

Terrific hotel — well located in Salamanca with bus and train connections just outside the hotel. There is great local shopping and restaurants — mind you the Gran Amelia Fenix also has great in-house dining as well. This is a grand old hotel, well renovated over a decade ago, so the rooms are of high quality but with an old fashion charm.

I was at the bar terrace of this well-known hotel, at the Cosmopolitan Bar DRY by Javier de las Muelas, he may try any of their new cocktails, they included new special ingredient, walnuts, in its new menu you can see how there is something for everyone, and also there with or without alcohol. This hotel is located in the central plaza de Colón.

One of the best hotels I know in Madrid, the staff is very pleasant and efficient, always tried to make their customers this happy with what you have contracted. The common areas are spacious and pleasant. In its restaurant you will get an excellent quality of food and for the later have a good bar.

Walking into the lobby of this hotel is like walking into a classy movie. One of the best hotels in Madrid for both history and luxury. The Beatles stayed here and so as many other artists. Very recommendable if you are looking to spend a romantic stay with that special someone.
