Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. The staff is nice and that is very valuable in a hotel. The breakfast was very good. Overall the hotel is perfect.

One of my hotels I prefer in Madrid. The rooms are very good, the beds very comfortable. The service is excellent from all the hotel staff. Breakfasts as in all Meliá hotels is very rich and varied. The only thing that's not remarkable is the restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel for one night for work and the truth is that the experience was perfect. The room was very spacious and the bathroom too. It had an electric kettle and several infusions and soluble coffees. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A spectacular five-star hotel in the centre of Madrid. The rooms are cosy, very clean and functional. The hotel's buffet breakfast is spectacular and of great quality and variety.

We reserved 2 rooms for two night but decided to extend 4 extra days. The hotel, location especially all the staff excellent. I strongly advise this hotel for travellers.

I've been only to the lobby waiting for my friends who stayed in this hotel, but I was still impressed with it. From outside the building looks shabby but inside there are beautifully decorated premises, a nice bar and a lounge area. I loved it.

Was in hotel for 2 nights business travel bang in the middle of the city all shopping mall town square all near by walking distance it's 30 minutes ride from airport. Room was comfortable. Breakfast is continental almost and some fresh eggs options Spanish omelette was good. Room was on 8 floor good view from window.

Very good location, helpful staff, rooms adequate size, nice detail, always leave some chocolate or candy to the guests, nice views in some rooms (mainly in the highest), they would have to improve cleaning and furniture in the bathrooms.

Place not recommended, we were for two weekends in a row for work two suites level, they made us wait for three hours when the room was reserved for 12. The heating of the suite is castrated at 22 degrees and in Madrid it was snowing, aluminum windows old that went cold, we to q should go up the temperature, it took two and a half hours, after several phone calls to reception. After waiting for the toilet of the bathroom and tub were bad, missing utensils, toiletries, no bathrobes and the hot tub full of foam. Sincerely treatment of the reception and staff friendly, nothing honestly pay 300 euros per room for the benefits received seems to me a tease. Of truth I do not recommend going to this place for the quality price ratio disastrous.

Great hotel, excellent service, newly renovated, really worth it.

Good hotel, clean, quite, everything works fine, location good, easy to find foods store, clothing, etc. Access card to the room great, no need to plug in the wall after entering room, the lights at corridors using powersaving mode, so it just on while detecting persons entering the corridors. Minus: a little bit old, the lifts too small Just Great.

The fitness room does not deserve the name.

Good attention. Maintenance Service Good (at 23 hours did not work the heating and repair was immediate) the cafeteria somewhat expensive but with excellent quality and service. Altogether well.

Very central Hotel… needed a renovation and change a certain part of the staff… Luckily the renovation came and today is a good hotel… perfect for work and sightseeing. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff young people working.

Receptionists were all very friendly and nice. Modern and cozy design. Rooms can be improved as well as the bathroom. Location is very good, lots of restaurants and convenient stores around. The breakfast is very good. Generally we enjoyed our stay.

It's very good. It is well located near Plaza España. Princess is the continuation of the Gran via. To 150 mts. There is line 3 of the subway that arrives at the Sol station. The hotel has good GYM comfort, parking and indoor pool.

I am from Texas, and I didn't really think this hotel was that great. The rooms are tiny and awkward. The closet has sliding windows that lead straight to the sink in the restroom. There is a lounge chair with ottoman that takes up space too. They left us complimentary water the first night and that was pretty much it. I ran into a gentleman who was returning an iron and ironing board to the front desk (which is under remodel). He said the hotel needed the iron back because they are the in high demand. When he turned them into the front desk, Maria Rabanales looked annoyed at him and told him he just needed to leave it in his room. She reluctantly took the iron from him and continued to vent about him with another Spaniard customer. Later, a tour guide told me he left a message for me at the front desk. I never got the message and when I asked Maria Rabanales about it, she was no help. She kept saying sorry but cynically. I noticed there is miscommunication due to translation, and I didn't feel welcomed in general by the front desk staff. Nonetheless, the hotel had a good breakfast service and snack/drink lounge in the afternoon. I personally would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Apart from Captain Francisco and outside of a few enthusiastic employees, this is far from the four stars, and the Marriott standards. Room OK but bathroom was very bad, the floor cracked a lot of sewing. But the worst Hall Manager in a small restaurant, he was as cold as a Nazi officer and the Jews, even told him the Bill short-changed 1 time then he would like to continue to charge us more money! In addition, the phone is broken, repaired many times and no, Wi-Fi exist, tried many times. This is kind of a Marriott?

It's enough to give the star!

I travelled to Madrid for work and stayed one night when leaving in the morning rush I left forgotten a shirt, which apparently liked it much cleaner or washing bedding because no one has seen it and has disappeared from the face of the Earth. Care leave nothing forgotten. Seems that the unhappy general of them workers with them new managers of the hotel (manifestation in the door from them 8 of it tomorrow with his megaphone and all, to the point of that the receptionist take plugs of ear) it maketh appropriating is of them articles "lost" of them customers.

Good location. Spacious rooms with all comforts. "The level" service is magnificent, in which at any time can have a snack or a drink. Highly recommended. Breakfasts are spectacular.

Embarrassing restaurant q was dead when we walked in after a dinner reservation of the company reserved with them. Reserved with application to the cell phone and the dishes q came on the application had no one. The waiters and the cook laughing behind the bar that already was the straw that top of the glass, the head of the room above escusandose that the letter was not the same. After all this any dinner there we had q find a site to the desperate, but anything is better than this joke of a site.

AI a demonstration in front of the hotel for not paying compensation after dismissing them, are a few ciorizos and am not going to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Poor service, rude reception. Rooms are ok but you can tell they are old. Worst of all no free wireless. More accurately there is free wireless but it's useless. Even when you pay it's useless. A hotel without free high speed internet in 2015 is about as stupid as one without hot water…

Exquisite. So I can categorize my stay in this wonderful hotel. I was made about a year ago to surprise my partner, for such event chose a suite with jacuzzi. Upon entering the hotel, the Hall is truly beautiful, but any improvement even if you can climb into the room. Is super spacious, huge and extremely comfortable bed (looks like you embrace), beside the bed there is a small table with a small sofa, perhaps something can be improved would be the TV which is rather small. The bathroom is very spacious and has a large shower beside the Jacuzzi with views to the exterior. As for the food, I only had the pleasure of trying the breakfast; was correct and there was variety, although perhaps not complements to the maximum with the category of the hotel. Without doubt one of the best hotels where I have been.

An unbeatable location. If you go, I recommend you take one of the suits, which give the Princess Street. It is also the Gran Via. It has a jacuzzi in the suits. Form service is exceptional and the reception bar is free when you are a premium customer. If you come to Madrid for a weekend, is highly recommended. Only downside, the price.
