Hotel moderno junto a la estacion de Puerta de Atocha y con parada de taxi en la misma puerta. Bien comunicado. Las zonas comunes están cuidadas y, al menos, las habitaciones interiores son silenciosas. Las habitaciones son amplias y el baño completo y correcto. La climatización de las habitaciones es silenciosa y eficiente. El buffet del desayuno también es completo y dispone de una zona amplia y surtida de productos. Hotel recomendable.

I went for a company event and I didn't like it very much. The part of the reception is more modern but the rooms are noticeable to be old.
The bedroom is not bad but the bathroom shows that it is years old. In addition the support for the shampoo is seen to be glued to the tiles and peel off and re-paste, leaving the glue mark.

Hotels outside the real centre of Madrid. To get there many nearby vehicles (10 min walk to reach the nearest metro). Kind staff and very clean rooms day after day. Wi-Fi present throughout the hotel and very useful air conditioning. I didn't have lunches and breakfasts but I was out for two euros.

Great for business trips or if you go sightseeing but want to have accommodation in a quiet place. Modern, large, spacious rooms and good service.

They had no regard for me as a customer. Stay 3 weeks in this hotel and the room they gave me is en The end of the Hall, away from the elevators. With a view of a wall, in front of my Window is a BIg wall, só I cant see anything, no sun… They sure have customers that stay only one night and that no difference makes the view. But staying 3 weeks the least would be a more pleasant view. Thank you Rafaelhoteles.

Good location. Wifi pretty much non existent so don’t stay here if you require it. Past reviews show this has been a problem for years. Comfortable clean room. One towel was way past it’s use by date though — fortunately the second one was good. Walls are paper thin and everything can be heard. Bring ear plugs. Breakfast disappointing. Staff barely kept up with demand and seemed grumpy. Bacon had weird with bits in it. Eggs barely warm and coffee only just drinkable. Front desk staff friendly. Good that there is an ATM on site. Be prepared to pay an extra charge (€2.50) although I think this is standard in Spain. Don’t touch the mini bar. Disappointing that there is no tea/coffee facility in the roomm.

Wi fi in my room was extremely slow and often not working. Very limited equipment in fitness room. Breakfast was disappointing. Service below par for a 4 star hotel. This felt more like a 3 star property.

Nice hotel — no complaints. Be advised: The fridge is small & already stocked with food/drink they want you to buy, with no room for anything additional. Our only issue was the location: it IS near the huge train station, but you have to walk/drive a bit to a tunnel or bridge to cross all the tracks. It is a 10+ minute walk to subway stations or restaurants.

It is a good place to host a profesional meeting. Big Meeting rooms, The buffet could be better.

My score — 7/10, Overall a business hotel. May not be appealing for families as nothing much to do in fhe vicinity. You will have to travel for 15-20 mins to get to any tourist location. Pros — 1. Good central location with most touristy places at a 15-30 mins away. 2. Close to one of the biggest railway stations 3. Decent room sizes and well maintained property 4. Good food options with the hotel in-house restaurant. 5. Helpful staff and good service. 6. Amazing breakfast buffet cons: 1. Nothing much to do in the nearby area. Mostly a residential area. 2. Nearest metro station to go to any tourist spot is 10 minutes walk, may not be suitable for some 3. Too crowded most of the times Airport to hotel cab charges — Approx 30 — 35 EurosFor Public Transport, you can buy Madrid Travel Card and depending on the number of days, you get options for payment. It works on all public modes of transportation within Madrid.

Very good attention to the breakfast spectacular everything super well.

Functional Hotel, dedicated yet public business, the best the interior terrace, the meeting rooms comfortable and with good material, the reception staff could be a bit more friendly, being too dry, unlike the waiters who are nice and Willing.

Very bad Wi-Fi. Impossible to work from there and obliged to stay at the office very late instead Front desk unable to change the checkout date upon my arrival. They asked me to contact our business travel agency in London. The agency had to contact them to change the booking They charged my credit card upon arrival. They were unable to produce one single bill for both the accommodation and the restaurant charges, which make my expense reporting more complex. This hotel is not adapted for business travel and I will not stay there anymore.

Dinner with show Enigmatiun. Very good dinner and the show very fun and lively. Ideal for stag and hen parties.

Only use a cafeteria service in this property. I really like it for its huge and very quiet terrace where you can have a beer forgetting completely that you're in Madrid.

Room has hair, toothbrush cup only one, ask him to send also 3 euros room service fee, make an indoor phone for about 30 seconds, charge 1.6 euros, the service has no four-star level at all and will not be considered very much in the future.

The room was quite iluminated, the bed was soft and big enough for two people to sleep comfortably. The bathroom had all the basic needs covered.

Excellent Hotel. Located near Atocha Station and 20 minutes walk from the South Bus station. There are several Metro stops nearby. The room was comfortable. Spacious bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Recommended at 100%. From now on will be my hotel in Madrid,

It is ok. The rooms were very comfortable and the room was clean. That does use rosemary freshener and smells pretty. Quite expensive bar/restaurant service.

The hotel has a perfect location and the rooms you rent for events are fine. The hotel staff will support you all the time to make the event come out perfect. The location, almost next to the Atocha station is perfect.

It's an average hotel. Good value for money but don't look for extras such as moisturizing creams and a clothes iron. Average breakfast as well.

Nice place to have a coffee. In summer the terrace is more comfortable, but to connect with the laptop is phenomenal. And they put you Conguitos with the coffee! ;)

A modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
The restoration quite expensive for example coffee with pastries 4 euros.
Spacious rooms But when you enter notes that is cold and you have to put the air just to arrive, the doors of the rooms close very strong and when someone leaves your room if you do not hold the door slams a slammer that can annoy you especially if you are sleeping.

Execellent stays. But it is necessary to revise the price range cheaters for customers faithful.

The staff was great and the hotel and rooms very comfortable, the breakfast was really nice as well. The only negative aspect was the Internet, a little slow.

Room clean and comfortable although everything can be improved. The free buffet One pass, has everything and for all tastes, (that if, a coffee in the cafeteria I came out of an eye of the face). It has a very nice terrace that we go down at night to take the cool, there were more people there but a very quiet atmosphere. It's a good rest, no noise. Very close to Atocha station. We almost always come here, although sometimes we leave it for too late and when I want to book there is no place.

Room was narrow but long. Beds were comfy and there was a heater which was good for the cold. Only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. The toilet bowl was opposite the bidet and they are so close that your legs will touch the bidet. Also, both are right next to the bathtub which makes it really hard to get in and out.

It is a place where I feel welcome, all the staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like in your own home, it is useful professionally and personally also, cozy and very central with access by car and public transport. Recommended 100%

The location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A coffee maker or electric kettle in the room plus a little more sweetness would not hurt by the front desk even if travelers come by step they would like to feel Welcome.

The Hotel is very close to Atocha station. I can only comment on the meeting rooms and the courtyard as I was for an event. The place is spacious and the food we were served was good.

I would like to tell the experience that I have been to this Brown peaked hotel with some Office secretary but, neither these are already the Eighties, nor I a liar…
I went to eat and already, after some formative event of my company. It eats normal, the times I have paid (few) menu to 19 turkeys. A bit expensive though it is a hotel. I think the parking is fine.

Very attentive, we had problems with the room and we were moved to the moment even to a better one.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. For being a central hotel the capacity is complete very frequently. For the same reason the restaurant of the hotel where breakfast is very full of 7:30 — 9:00.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! It is definitely not 4 stars and worth your money. Rooms are basic, air conditioning plays up, elevators are tiny and only holds 3 people even though it says it's made for 6. Blow dryer is old and useless and shower head is rusty and doesn't release water properly. Also not in the best part of town. Reception staff are not kind and always act as if you are a problem they are trying to get rid of. I have never been so appalled by the lack of customer service by reception staff in particular "Sonia". We called this evening to let the staff know that the air conditioning wasn't working in one of our rooms (came with family and friends) and to ask what time our tour departed. The receptionist continued to hang up on a friend who only spoke English saying she was "busy", are we not paying customers?! I called myself as I speak Spanish and received the same type of service — or lack of I should say. Sonia hung up on me about 8 times, sometimes talking other times just picking up and hanging up so she wouldn't have to speak to me — I was not going away that easily. It wasn't until I screamed at her in Spanish demanding that she didn't hang up on me. I asked for her name which she didn't provide until I asked a 5th time and demanded to speak to a manager, which she refused. After further debating she said she would get a manager to call me. 10 minutes later I received a call from a colleague NOT manager.

This hotel is really nice. Clean rooms, not much expensive and in the very centre of the city.

Hotel is very bad, staff is poor with no courtesy. Gave the used room at first place and the bed size is too small. Not worth the money paid to the hotel. Worst experience.

I was at this Hotel and is one of the best, it has good service, good food, is clean and I recommend it to anyone travelling to Madrid Spain.

It is a hotel, which for my taste is right, for the cost of room/night. Had the possibility of visit several rooms of the first floor and all suffering of it same, were weathered. Furniture seem old, very dark stripes in the shower tiles. There was no sheets on the beds, only one quilt, or gave heat or you enfriabas without it.

Good location 500 meters both of the South Station how Atocha station. Good cleaning though he is a hotel which would already require an upgrade. Overall highly recommended.

Modern hotel close to the train station of Atocha in Madrid, at calle Méndez Alvaro.
I went to the hotel because we were celebrating a stag or hen party, and went to the spectacle of Enigmatium.
Rather low amount of dinner, but the show was good.
I recommend it if you like dinners with show and you like puzzles.

I went this week to an event in one of their rooms and I found it very good hotel, the room was quite extended. The attentive staff, when it ended I enjoyed your bar and the atmosphere was good.

I've been working a few days in Madrid, at this time and I chose this hotel for its proximity to the station and the facility that had to get to my meetings. Very central location, good Wi-Fi, quiet rooms. The Café is the perfect place for a quick drink before going to bed. Without a doubt I will return and will recommend to colleagues.

A very nice hotel. We held workshops of my work on it and I recommend it. Its rooms and entrance are very large and spacious. The inner terrace is ideal for a relaxing time. Very attentive and friendly staff, and very wide catering.

This hotel I can talk their classrooms and entrance. It was held recently the fair of the old disk. Nice site. The sunroom is very nice and relaxed. The very comfortable armchairs of the entry.

I slept for work in the hotel and the room was renovated completely. Thanks to an impeccable hotel and accompanying service good make the accommodation. I recommend this hotel if you come to Madrid, very close in addition to the Atocha train station.

Okay, but it is not especially cheap.

Apparently a four star hotel but I would dispute this. It was just okay — nothing great — definitely not 4 star. The staff was exceptionally surly. The location is okay, but there really isn't much in the immediate vicinity. The garden was often closed off due to conferences. Plus there is no Wi-Fi as advertised on the hotel's own website. I would also agree with other reviews about the sound proofing — you could hear EVERYTHING from other rooms. It is more 2-3 stars than 4 for sure.

The standard of the hotel is good considering the price if one looks at the rooms, beds, bathrooms, the breakfast etc. There is one big drawback however, the rooms are the opposite of sound proof and you'll hear everything and I mean everything from your neighbors, their neighbors, the corridor etc. In this cacophony of noise it's difficult to get a good nights sleep.
