There is no coffee or tea making stuff in room and no gym. Not felt like its a 4 star hotel. Rooms are fine. But location is very good. Accessible to all the major attractions.

Very friendly and always ready to help the staff, quite spacious rooms for the city hotel, large bathroom with two sinks, there is an underground parking lot. The restaurant only has breakfast.

The Eurostars Cristal Palace Hotel is perfectly located, equidistant from most of the city's attractions. We are at his ease in this room of 25 m2 decorated and equipped without frills (a kettle with tea and coffee pods, a lamp on the floor and a photograph on the wall perhaps would brighten the whole).
The room was clean although the furniture deserved a refreshment and especially the ceiling of the bathroom.
Another small minus, the air conditioning compressor that purr continuously next to the window (it remains bearable for my taste even if it is not pleasant).
Another big plus: breakfast! A very large choice and good quality for less than €10!
The last plus: the staff at the small care.

Located at the best end of la Ramble, minutes walk from the rail and bus services, this cosy little hotel boasts welcoming staff, secure parking, cost rooms and the best shopping experiences. The area is safe and has a good feel about it.

Very friendly staff. Ideal location at 300 meters from La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya.

I advise against all. Booked Triple room, we were given a double. Room had to be ready x the 15, at 20 nn was still ready… Swimming pool as from photo on Booking, non existent. Staff grumpy and of course nn a word of Italian. Great breakfast and location.

The room at 21 still was not ready and after repeated calls have fixed it. Snorting because we were not happy with the service. Are many rude.

I stayed at the hotel with my daughter. The next day the room was not cleaned and there was no water. I went down to the reception to ask for water. The administrator of Gemma was rude. I asked if I could take a picture of her badge, but she knocked and smashed my phone. It happened at 23:20 on May 7, 2018.

Terrible hotel. Miserable Room 15 sq. M. M. Window to the "patio"-is an uneaten piece of the yard 10 × 10 meters with a choking odor, but the cost of 170 euros per day. Not recommended.

The Hotel has good facilities, quite clean, although a little old. Views to an interior patio very little care. The breakfast buffet, small but correct. The treatment very correct. How to hotel city well.

It is a modern and cosy hotel. The value for money is very good and very well located, close to Metro stations, buses, taxis, restaurants, warehouses, etc. Highly recommended!

Hotel in POCBI steps from Plaza Cataluña… very nice and helpful staff, bar service, comfortable and spotless rooms good and plentiful breakfast… close to the aerobus which leaves every 5 minutes from the airport A1.

A very nice hotel for a short stay in Barcelona, in the center close to the essential places of the city, certe the rooms are a little narrow but clean and the bedding is comfortable and especially there is no noise that disturbs.
Lots of shops and nice restaurants nearby. Catalunya Square, La Rambla and shopping centre just a few steps away. There are taxis right next door, the Metro also (Metro Passeig de Gracia) so to get around it's really easy.

Not the best hotel in Barcelona. My room had a sealed connecting door with the next room and could hear conversations and even when people went into the bathroom (ugh) Average breakfast, and kind of far if you're going to the Fira for the Mobile World Congress (about a half an hour bus ride)

I've been here before and was satisfied, but this time the room is terrible: noisy, no views at all, broken shower… Disappointing.

Without fear, one of the best hotels in Barcelona. From the arrival, full splurge, sympathy, kindness and good treatment. Very high professionalism, which will make you feel, as if you were in your own home. Welcome.

Super central location and well connected. As a smoker I very much appreciated the upgrade of free room to the one with balcony. Breakfast without croissants with cream and very salty. Good cleanliness and staff availability.

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was large and had everything I needed to descan well.

This is a fairly standard mid class hotel in the city. It has a nice location that is close to many sites and a to the Metro System. One huge benefit for international travelers is that they offer a complimentary pocket Wi-Fi device that you can keep with you on your visit to eliminate roaming data charges.

I advise you to take the breakfast of the hotel it is really mediocre and I tell you not their latte is tasteless of am really disappointed. On the other hand the rooms are very good as well as the location.

Hotel very close to Plaza Catalunya and Rambla and very flirty. Some minor flaw at the aesthetic level but very functional and with a breakfast more than correct. The deal was very good too.

The location is excellent. It's a simple hotel. Spacious room. What I don't like is that it has single beds instead of matrimonial. You need to reshape many details on floor and bathrooms because they are very worn out.

Central Hotel… but somewhat careless the rooms, not bad a hand of paint and repair the floor.

We stayed in this Hotel this June. We were a Family of 12 in 5 rooms. The reason for the 2 stars is the central location of this place. Easy access to taxis from the corner, a few steps from the lobby. There are also plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. That was about it. Read the rest of my review and you will understand why just two stars. The rooms and bathrooms need a major makeover. The rooms are just sad looking, one of our night lamps was broken with some tape on it. The bathroom was bad, I have a problem when I see mold. That is a health hazard. That is also why we did not take a pic of it. The rooms never got cold. We called the front desk who sent technicians who kept insisting the airconditioning unit was working. Mind you, we all speak fluent Spanish, so language was not a barrier. We never heard anything from anyone thereafter after telling them the rooms were still "HOT". This was summer okay. The breakfast buffet is in dire need of help. The food below standard. This is one Hotel we will not visit again.

Past times were better, I've been alojandome in this hotel a couple of times a year for work, and I'm starting to need a little review.

The hotel place is very good at the center of Barcelona. But the rooms are without iron or water kettle which is very bad.

I was expecting a lot more for a four star, untreated cleaning, structure to be improved.

Great location really close to the centre of Barcelona. I spent every month 3-4 days in this hotel for business purposes only the breakfast buffet the should improve which doesn't meet my expectations at all.

Decent sized hotel room with a balcony (top floor) and a nice bathroom. Safe for your valuables. Breakfast was decent, but not top notch.

I stayed in room 902, the one with terrace on Deputacio. The furniture needs a renovation, not for style but for quality and workmanship. All furniture and finishes are worn and ruined. Bathroom and terrace are completely redone. The air conditioning is without the possibility of adjustment. Cost less Maybe it would be worth it, as it is not.

Great location. Reasonable good sized rooms. Could do with modernisation. I had a constantly leaking flush and a bath with a rusty fittings. No issues with plumbing or water pressure or aircon or anything else. Beds are comfy. Not many non Spanish TV channels. Breakfast is OK.

Friendly staff with good food recommendations in the area. Free parking, with voucher for nearby parking if it is full. Great great breakfast spread. Very near to metro so moving around Barcelona is easy.

The strong point of the hotel, which made me choose it, is for sure the location a few steps from the Ramblas, Casa Batllò and La Pedrera. In addition a few steps from the Metro stop that crosses 3 lines. It is easily accessible from the airport both with the Aerobus and the Metro. Very friendly staff who spoke both Italian and English and available to the various explanations. Clean room, pretty big, really comfy beds! Maybe you pay something extra but in my opinion it was worth having the time saved thanks to the location! I would go back tomorrow!

I got a great price liked the hotel right away very comfortable no problems.

$200 was stolen from my room, from my backpack. Staff was extremely UNhelpful. I never thought I would have to think about the safety of my belongings in my own hotel room. Do NOT recommend.

Small room. Not standard. No kettle in the room. Just for sleep.

Hotel room service dinner never arrived. Shower ranged from scalding to freezing. No kettle on room and too warm. Mould in bath and stained floor. Comfortable otherwise and quiet. Breakfast good.

Have stayed at this hotel several times. To be recomended.

I stayed two nights at the Cristal Palace from 10/1 — 10/3/07 — While the hotel was comfortable and the people friendly, two items were taken from my suitcase, and also from my sisters carry on. Leave your luggage locked! I didn't, since I was there for only two days coming back from a Cruise, I placed the large suitcase inside the closet, and used the one that I had prepared for my stay in Barcelona. You are warned about the pick pocketing on the streets, but you don't expect it to happen inside your hotel.
