A great piece of architectural beauty, there's a long corridor where people can walk or ride a bike. There's several benches and space to sit down and enjoy the view. The monument itself is in very good condition and it is definitely a must-see sight in Barcelona.

A building that is worth a glance, especially when you come from the French capital. Not particularly extraordinary, especially compared to other buildings in the capital, but which is in their radius and worth a look.

The place is filled with young talents. A dance player, Circassians, footballer, you can find everything. A lot of happiness and peace.

The Arc de Triomphe remains like all bows in other countries. There is nothing extraordinary. However, if we go down the arc, we arrive at Ciutatdella Park (which is worth a visit).

A very particular area of Barcelona: The arch is at the entrance of what is the area of the Ciutadella Park, the spaces open and become monumental. I recommend to go there on Sundays when the barcelonets or tourists flock to the area to stroll or have a picnic and there are many street performers. I give 4 stars and not 5 because anyway the arch wants to postpone the Roman but in a way for me too modern: it is not clear the artistic intent for me.

Beautiful arch very close to the city Park Ciutadella is a very beautiful with a beautiful fountain, a lake where you can swim on the boat. There is also a city zoo. Also close by are the area of the city el Born where you can visit the Picasso Museum, enjoy the beautiful architecture of the area to see the Roman excavations.

Place to visit because historical as it was built at the time of the Universal Exposition. Also great for nice walks in that pedestrian area.

Good place for a walk. Nice gardens. Very close is the Barcelona freaky Block — Comics & game stores. Metro station close.

As the story tells, it is built in 1888, being the main entrance to universal exposure. Neomudejar style.
It has served as a goal in numerous major careers.
What I like best is to touch his cold stone and see his figures on the air. They make for a few seconds you move to another time another place, magic moment for me.

This splendid and imposing monument leaves a small promenade which ends in front of the 3 Dragons castle and on the right is the Picasso museum. To see absolutely.

Nice structure! Built with red bricks. The color is something lovely… and with the light of the late afternoon is even more beautiful. Mandatory walk If you are in Barcelona.

The Arc de Triomf, built in the late 19th century, was the opening piece of the World Exposition, simply the entrance gate. It bears classical insignia with the style and the reliefs, but what is lacking is the historically heroic, which is why the respective rulers have built a gateway to their glorification, a spirit that acts in the minds of the spectators. Of course it is passable, a building that feels nice and takes its place as a photomotif.

Walk around and get to the citadel. It is always a good plan to stay here and be able to eat in a lot of places. Plus there are a lot of comic shops! So I'm sure it's a good place. To spend the day. …

A pretty beautiful monument, with some buildings around which are impressive. A must see if you are in Barcelona to visit and want to have good pictures of souvenir. Also, if you like the world of comics, there are many shops next door that will surprise you.

Very nice place. Several very good street artists gather in the square. Ideal for walking around on a Friday or Saturday night. Very cool.

The great Arc de Triomphe in Barcelona. Just spectacular. It is a great space to go for a walk, to sit down to enjoy the sun, etcetera. Highly recommended!

It is conveniently located. In front as behind him and on both sides there are a thousand things to see. You can make beautiful "green" walks.

This place is great place to visit other than the Rambrant as it also has it's fair share of street performers. It's really accessible with a metro station only about 2 minutes walk away. I would recommend going on a Sunday as it's a great place for a little stroke. As always be vigilant as there are pickpockets around, I didn't see any myself but just always good to be safe.

Arch (cat. L'arc de Triomf) is a monument in Barcelona, sharing the Boulevard de Paseo Lewis Companys (passeig de Lluís Companys) and Boulevard Paseo de Sant Joan (Passeig de Sant Joan). Served as the main entrance of the world Expo 1888. Arch built by the architect Josep Vilaseca a (cat. Josep Vilaseca I Casanovas) of red brick in the Moorish style, widespread at the time.

Nice to look at. Good exit — or end point of a city tour. Homonymous stop across the street.

Beautiful architecture of an arc, like many other arcs here in Europe. This one is unique though with his colour. Not quiet big like the French one, but still a great design and gives a beautiful panorama to the city. You should have a bike tour in front of it, at the park ;)

I never realised Spain had one too! It was a monument my girlfriend and I wanted to see and boy did it look magnificent! There were street performers and artists around. Great atmosphere. A must go to place in Barcelona!

Barcelona has a lot of interesting places. Here not all get. Arch is interesting although nothing special, but not very interested in the Boulevard and on a wonderful Park.

Pretty without more. The park behind is better. For those who say prettier than Paris… not at all. Paris 10 times more beautiful. It's simple this one.

Beautiful Avenue in the city centre of Barcelona, which leads down to the Parc de la Ciutadella. A visit should not be missed.

Arch is good and the alley in front of her. I recommend to walk to her. Still near her live comfortably — and to the old town on the doorstep and the bus station are next to leave/arrive to Girona airport to Port Olimpic, Park — pedestrian access to beaches and transport. We went to Barcelona, where there are no tourists, few people, have a shower and do not Noumea.

Beautiful place for walk for you and the whole family. Location is great and very easy to reach from La Rambla. You do everything over there from sitting in its lovely garden to buying souvenirs at very good prices. For dogs owners, it's good destination.

A remarkable growth that is well-suited to this place. The square in front offers space for events and a wide view.

This is one of the nicest points of the city. From the boulevard you can reach the park or visit the Born neighbourhood. Around the arch there always performances but be aware of pickpockets.

A triumph arch built for peace and not for a war is a more unique thing than rare. Pleasant the square and the environment.

You can take it with you and watch it if you're close. I wouldn't go there. From there you can follow the course to the south, which leads into a large park. Good tour.

If I could choose, Arc del Triomf (or Arch of Triumph in English) would be one of my favorite places in Barcelona. It is an emblematic and historic place in the City in which the promenade is wide and spacious, in keeping with the magnificence of the arch. In addition, Arc means many times one of the centres of gathering of the communities most alternatives of the city of Barcelona, so you'll always find people of most alternative fans to walk there.

Great place to take a walk. A long avenue with several artists on the street will entertain you and at the end of the avenue you'll arrive in a magnificent park. Continue straight ahead and you will arrive at the Barcelona Zoo.

The Arc de Triomphe is a place to visit in Barcelona where you can walk on a beautiful walk, or sit down to enjoy the views of this beautiful city. If you want to skate or ride a bike it is a good place to do it. 'll!

A very nice place to walk, is big and spacious so although this always full of tourists taking pictures is not tight. There are seats to sit and stay awhile admiring the details.

A great work done for the Universal exhibition. With figures in the upper frieze that to lower costs are repeated, as they are of cement took advantage of the molds. But from below it is not noticeable, some with wings, others with trumpets, the bats below. In addition it is hollow, the interior has some iron braces and the upper shield is on the two facades. Nine years I've been going four times a day to go to school. When I come in to work it was like weird to see from above instead of from below.

A lovely place to hang out with all of the merchants selling food and drinks, very pleasant place to spend a few hours. Be aware of your personal possessions, like most tourist places in Barcelona, pickpockets are frequently about… Overall well worth a visit, just don't visit late at night or when it's too quiet.

I really like this place. It's wide open with many merchants selling items, playing music, and skate boarding. I would be mindful of your personal items as there might be pickpockets around. The arch itself is so detailed you must take pics of it at different angles.

Very beautiful arch! Entrance to the arch is a large Park which has a large fountain at the end of the Alley the zoo! A lot of people of different nationalities, trained acrobats and jugglers! Sing, play, each doing something very beautiful palm trees in the Park!

A great sight and photo opportunity. I didn't know anything about the Arco de Triomfo before visiting Barcelona and only happened to be staying near it. Though it was only built for the 1888 World Fair, it is worth seeing.

A great place to hang out at and eat some snacks. It's not overcrowded with tourists and the overall atmosphere is calm and chill. I recommend to put it on your to do list if you want to travel to Barcelona.

It's a very wide place. The days they have been making demonstrations about the independence of Catalonia. In if the place is very nice to make videos and take pictures.

Beautiful arch that's at the end of the park. Very nice walk with street performers entertaining the public and tourists who come visit. Nice to sit and watch the world go past. Nice part of Barcelona to go for a stroll while visiting.

The most beautiful is a Park where is this arch! A little cozy! With a beautiful pool in Rome! It will be interesting and the kiddies!

Nice monument in nice surroundings. It doesn't sing or dance, or transform into a car, but it makes a lovely starting point (or end) for a walk through Ciutadella Park and down to the beach.

Everyone talks about the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. I personally thing that this one is much more interesting. I love the fact that it is easily accessible.

Nice place were all the locals seem to walk and chill at. Also you will find dancers, puppeteers and artist doing their show. Great atmosphere in the afternoon:)

Not only a beautiful monument but this area always has something going on. Either food stands or events. Really nice to go for a walk and visit the park close by. There are shops and restaurants close by and its very easy to get to.

It would be great if there was a plaque explaining the monument however this is easily found online. The arch itself is really nice and depicts two scenes, one on each side. Fully conducted in brink it is unlike most other arches that are made of stone. A great site for pictures and a really nice place to visit.
