My mum and I had a wonderful experience at L'espresso yesterday. Booked the High tea weekday set for two to treat my mum for her birthday. My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the spread of food and the calm laidback setting. One staff in particular I would like to commend is by the name of Satrya (sorry if I got the spelling wrong), he was very polite and patient when my mum and I did not know what drinks to get as there were a lot of choices and gave us his personal recommendations which were really good. As my mum was busy talking and involved with her phone she didn't really touch her drink much after it came, so he came to check on us and offered a change if it was not to my mum's liking. My mum loved it but she was busy playing games it was still a really nice gesture and we appreciated it. There were waitresses whom we approached to ask for some water but they kept forgetting our request, when we asked him he promptly served us with the glasses of water within less than a minute. Not too sure why the waitresses kept forgetting our requests, it was just plain water And to top it all off, when we were too full to even budge and were chatting by ourselves, we got surprised with a small birthday cake for my mum! I didn't ask for it but my mum did casually mention to Satrya that it was her birthday thats why I brought her here for a treat. I did not expect him to come with a cake, it was truly a delight to the both of us and this excellent service is one that has to be recognized! We will definitely be back again~
