The staff are rude when I call to ask food he took a deep breath and I feel like disappointed. The bath towels is dirty and the room carpet is dusty. And I saw a french fries in the carpet I don't know how long it there.

I don't recommend this hotel. People working in higher position here are all racists. From the CEO, general managers to their right-hand/s. Stop this power tripping and abuse of power that you are doing guys before we file a complaint. Not because people are working as a laborer it means that they are uneducated and deserve an unfair treatment. You are depriving your employees of their rights. Maybe you are the manager/s, CEO, right-hand/s are educated but you are all ill-mannered and inhumane.

It’s a good place to stay. Have a nice ambience and beautiful interiors. The location is accessible to Souq Waqif and Doha Corniche…

Yes 100% awesome facilities, about room its clean and neat room. All amenities already complete. Receptionist was accomodating…

Dirty rooms, no daily cleaning service, they rated 5 star but I would grade not more than a 4 star. Limited room service menu.

Nice function hall. The smell was good. And it looks very clean. The chef and staff were all smiling. And the food was heavenly yummyyyyy. Thank you saraya for the nice experienced yesterday.

Pretty awful. Everything was very dated (old tattereted bed cover, towels). Chipped tiles in bathroom. Scratches and dents throughout tub. Dirty fingerprint stains on walls. We asked for our room to be changed and second room was about the same. Glad we were only there for one night or would have changed hotels for sure. Bed sheets themselves were clean and shower pressure/temperature was good. Overall definitely not worth the $75/night I was charged. Prob worth more like $40/night.

I booked "deluxe kings room". My flight was changed and I had to attend the hotel early in the morning, so I asked for am early check-in. Staff said that there were no any free rooms (very strange considering that that's not a "hot tourist" period. ) Then for the first time I was proposed to take a smoking-standard room on the 2d floor. I asked at what time I could come back to receive my ordered and prepaid room. That time was 12.00. I put my luggage and went to the city. I returned again at 12.00 and, incredible, I was again proposed to take a smoking-standard room for the second time, as there were no empty rooms. After unpleasant conversation with staff, 5 minutes later I received my "deluxe kings room" on the 7th floor. I was very disappointed with this behaviour and will never use this hotel again.

The air conditioner is too cold and the temperature control doesn't work. Room service is available but cannot be billed to the room, instead it has to be paid on delivery. Room is spacious but lacks a hairdryer, that can be requested. However there is no easy place where you can use it as there are no power outlets suitable near mirrors.

Very hospitable very handy location. Would stay again. Got upgraded with our late arrival time. Much appreciated.

We were here for ifthar, I don't think this a 5 star property, seems like an old hotel has been renamed. Was disappointing that you always get people that do not listen to your request. As always we were show to our seats that was in the middle, on us insisting, we were given a different table. The lamb was outstanding and other food was not that great. The hotels' office staff were eating the same buffet (that's OK, because better not to wast food), but the funny part was the guest were ignored and the waitress more focused on the office staff (maybe from HR). I got something for the management, pull your pants up. Let your staff know that guests are more important. Not worth the money spent!

The location of the hotel is amazing. 5 stars to the ambience. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the stay in the hotel. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff are alike, very helpful. The food in the restaurant is tummylicious.

Love this hotel. Great food. Nice quiet rooms. It took me a while to figure out you have to leave the key in the slot by the entrance to keep the lights running. No instructions for a first timer especially coming from the US. Still trying to figure out the shower and bidet. The service is great like everywhere else in Qatar. Airport shuttle and from hotel.

The reception is well presented (clean and beautifully decorated). The staff are all helpful in their own capacity and very aproachable. The "superior" room we had was outdated with a presentation more fitting to a three star hotel. The use of spaces is inefficient, having huge storage at the entrance up and down a sink and below a bar table. These spaces do nothing as they are empty and the hotel does not provide even plates to fill these in. The fridge is small in relation to this area that is the size of a very small kitchen but has no capability as a kitchen since there is no crockery nor cutlery nor a space for cooking anything. Then the TV and sofas area is acceptable but the carpet needs some deep cleaning. The wallpaper is old and in some areas stained. The bed mattress is old and with permanent deformations resembling the curve of a big person sleeping there every day. The bathroom is terribly arranged with again lots of wasted space below the sink. There is barely space to go in and close the door behind you. The bathroom has a shower combined with a bath tub. The tub screen fails to stop water from falling to the floor and running along the top edge of the tub all the way to the other side. All rooms in the hotel in the same category have the same design thus there is no point trying to change the room. You will end having to roll a towel and put it in the edge so it absorbs the water in order to keep an usable bathroom before it is cleaned the day after.

I stayed their 8 hour flight from doha too newyork was delayed. As we reached they gave us delicious tea at the lobby. After few minutes they gave us door scanner and told us the room. The room was like heaven. The dinner was absolutely amazing. Great service will come again.

The room is nice and beautiful but the hygienic conditions are low there are pots at tge bottom of the cups and the boiler is rusty…

Lovely room, breakfast was good but service was erratic. The pool area was tatty and generally looked badly maintained which spoilt our stay as my son loves swimming. The changing room area was simply awful — smelly with soggy toilet paper on the floor. There's a very powerful generator across the road that's constantly on and this can be clearly heard in the bedrooms at night. We were given a late check-out but the porter knocked on our door several hours before that claiming we'd over stayed our visit. Overall, I'd say our stay was 'ok'. However in a city where excellence is the norm, this simply does not cut it. I, for one, would not stay there again.

Dunno what happened with the reviewers citing rude, money hungry staff. My dad and I walked in at 10am with a reservation hoping to just drop our bags off until 2pm, but we got our room right away with no extra charge! The front desk woman was helpful and nice. Also arranged an airport taxi for us for 50 QAR. We arrived having paid 40 and was quoted between 40-50, so all good here! There’s a few small stains lying around the room, but nothing to complain about and it’s a nice, unique hotel with a great price!

Great hotel. A little worn out in places but fantastic service. The staff are amazingly helpful and respectful. Well worth a stay and is value for money. I would recommend staying here. The location is also good with access to the corniche, Souq Waqif and Islamic Art Museum.

Staff very friendly, the room quite cozy. A lot of road works around with a super annoying humming coming from a generator. Not really the hotel's fault.

Very good disposition of the staff, the pool is very small and closed just to get wet, everything else very good. The other problem you have is that the consumptions in the hotel cannot accumulate in the room, it forces you to be always with the credit card or silver on top.

Unfortunately, the Hotel has exceeded our expectations, the bathroom was 100% clean and there was a little mold. The bed was a dream. The staff was friendly. More of a 4 star instead of a 5 star Hotel.

I stayed for one night to avail the promo. The receptionist gave me the room that is not on my preferred booking. It was noisy. 2/5 So I have them transferred me to another room which is nice. But one thing I noticed is that the sheets doesn't smell new and the bath tub has molds. 2/5 They serve me Cold food which I ordered (brunch) because I missed my breakfast that I already paid. Receptionists: I'm not sure if she/he is happy with his or her job. 2/5

Five star hotel. Very nice rooms and breakfast. Sauna and pool services are not very great.

More like a three star than a five star hotel. Very messy building sight outside of hotel, the area looks run down and shabby. We were just on an overnight stopover so did not get to explore Doha other than the local souk at night which was a bit hit and miss in regards eating establishments. We did not get to use the hotel facilities as we had to get an early flight the next morning, I paid for breakfast however I had to leave early so did not partake of the breakfast even though the front of desk said he would arrange something. The foyer was small, I have no idea why this is classed as five star.

I dont understand how they rated this hotel as 5-star? We just checked in last friday — 25 August, the reception is not accommodating and she is rude. She was given me the room in the second floor even if I told her that I want in the higher floor. Well she insisted that the room assigned for us is only in the second floor. Ok fine! I went to our room and checked. I just found out that the room is small, toilet is small and worse thing is when I opened the curtain theres a lots of poops of bird! I called the reception and inform her that I want to change the room. I'm not finished yet talking but she hang up the phone when she told me to check the room in the 12 floor. Rude! We changed the room in the 12 floor but when we enter the room the carpet is wet because of Water leaking from Ac. Very bad experience as a travel agent. Not recommendable with my client.

Nicely located at the heart if the city. Souq Waqiif and Museum of Islamic Art adjacent to it. So, a pretty busy and well-located place.

Hotel is elderly. Five star is not real. Good servis every day. Very good breakfest. Missing outside swimming pool. Good price.

I did experience some what the below comments had commented on. Even. The hotel as we came couldnot be said. We were on a short visit booking 2 rooms only one complete. The other room wasn't. There seems in the management house keeping reception no coodination. But individually they do their roles well. Hope this post helps to improve.

It's a peaceful place to rest and take a short vaccation but take long time to give customer service.

The hotel is not really clean. There are stains on the carpet. The food is not good.

We didn't have a good experience in the hotel: no free pick up service from/to the airport and when we called them asking to organize it they said they wont be able to. So we had to sort it ourselves at 1am. Arrived to the hotel there was no Wi-Fi in any part as they had issue for the last three days (lobby, rooms. ). Only in the morning there was some low signal in the lobby. We asked for some food around 1pm to snack and they said it was not available. The room didn't have almost any complimentary teas/coffee. We were lucky enough to carry some with us. The hotel is surrounded by an entire area of engineers working, so forget about the nice view and the quiet. We complained and eventually we got a free lift to the airport. However not too sure how the hotel got its 5 star!

Excellent 5 star hotel. Good location and good price.

It is clean and comfort. It deserve 5 stars especially for the breakfast. But the perfume on the lobby is not fit 5 stars hotel, you have to upscale the perfume.

Nice hotel. Main pool is small and lap pool is too shallow to be usable.

Now this hotel was BEAUTIFUL! First time in the Middle east for me, so everything was incredible. Top notch customer service, very nice staff. The room, was amazing, it had this gold theme to it. Made you feel like royalty.

The hotel is decent but it is not a 5-star hotel. The lobby is very small and does not look 5-star. I should have read the reviews before I booked the hotel. I would give this hotel the highest rating if it was 4-star hotel since 4-star is more appropriate rating for this hotel. The shower is too low for taller people. I think it fits 5' 10 and shorter! The buffet is very good. I strongly recommend it.

We had an amazing experience during our short stay in this hotel! The room was absolutely mind blowing with the superior view of downtown Doha. Very clean, amazing smell and very comfortable and luxurious in every aspect. The team members are excellent and they truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an amazing experience staying there. The location is wonderful and very convenient to markets, shops, museums, mosques and downtown. We highly recommend this great hotel to anyone traveling to Doha and will definitely stay there during our next visit!
