Lovely place to stay, hotel it self is nice and very modern, every things is well managed, our check in late after midnight was very smooth and friendly, room was prestige and spacious, breakfast was lovely and delicious, great service and very friendly staff.

The Oryx Rotana is one of the most beautiful and comfortable places I have ever stayed… World-wide. Reasonably priced and conveniently close to the airport it has everything a traveler needs and enjoys. No reason to waste time looking elsewhere!

We always celebrate our special occasion in this hotel especially our son’s birthday. We always come back in this hotel for the past 4 years now. Staff is very accomodating. Food are always excellent as can be expected. Chefs in choices buffet are very welcoming to our request especially chefs Arnold, Shoukal and Chandran. We will come back again to celebrate Christmas and new year.

Nice hotel for a long transit in Doha. Complimentary through Qatar airline. Comfortable bed, great shower and reasonable size room. I paid 40au for an extensive breakfast buffet in the hotel, delicious.

Stayed there while on transit. Lovely hotel. We had lunch at the Cellar. Excellent service. They caters well for our vegetarian needs. Good food and thought it was reasonably priced too.

I stayed here for the long transfer. Everything is very good. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The design overall is very modern. I particularly like their lobby lounge. What impressed me the most is how friendly and helpful their staff were. They are willing to do more than minimum in order to provide a good experience to the guests. I'd like to thank you the lobby boy Momin in particular. Thank you for your help and courtesy. Oryx Rotana will be my first choice if I even come to Doha again.

Very good hotel not far from the airport and excellent for a layover or longer stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, good aircon but still able open the window. Good soundproofing. Kettle and coffee maker. Restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Other more casual Cellar bar also had great food. Jazz Club had live music.

Oryx Rotana seems to be the default hotel for business travellers arriving Doha on QatarAirways. I've stay here for quite a number of times and I'm impressed by their consistent service quality. So if you have a quick stopover in Doha and would love to see the city center, Oryx offers you that perfect spot in the center of Doha to easily connect all the choice spots and be right on time for your flight; 15 — 20minutes taxi ride in high traffic.

It is close to Hamad International Airport, and so conveniently located. We used this hotel on our way from KL Malaysia. Have best rooms and employees very punctual especially when they have to wake up call a guest. Did not have time to taste their meals due to a long overnight flight that leave us no other option than napping. Architecture is modern hotel and attractive. Keep it up Oryx.

Stayed with friends on a overnight flight from Qatar Airlines. Everything is top notch, spacious room, coffee machine, huge amount of towels, fluffy bathrobe, rain shower, rooftop pool, sauna-everything you need in a 5 star hotel is available:)
From the bonuses-a decent location, not far from the airport, and the waterfront 20 minutes by taxi.

Only about a 13 hour stay in transit from Milan to Melbourne. Staff were very helpful and nice. The room was very spacious and the shower was huge. I ordered the King Prawns from the room service menu and they hit the spot!

Very fine hote, great and helpful staff. Mine was an airline accommodation due to a schedule change and an 11 hour layover. Got a wonderful shower, brushed my teeth a couple of times, shaved and slept 4+ hours! Room had complimentary water and coffee — nice!

Wonderful hotel. Great accommodation, all rooms equipped with everything you need, up top shaving kit as well. Friendly staff smiling to you wherever they see you and ask if you need anything. Definitely would recommend to everyone who wants to get all what he wants for paid stay!

Excellent service, kind staff, nice room, great shower. Also several dining options within the hotel as well as a Starbucks a block away (open 24 hours). The only negative was that the ATM was not functioning. We ended up finding one next to Starbucks. Transfer to/ from the airport was easy, and a taxi to the corniche was quick and cheap.

Nice place to stay in Doha Qatar, near the airport, one stop place to stay, they have chinese restaurant, bar, etc… Breakfast not included. Good view, near from Souqwaqif. Easy to find food…

I love the Oryx Rotana Hotel, the impeccable service. The friendly staff and the Hotel has lots to offer. Different restaurants, a Jazz place that offers different jazz bands. The hotel includes a gym and a lovely spa to unwind. It is a child friendly place and it is a social place for celebrating special events, such as your birthdays and anniversaries. I would recommend something for Teens. Maybe a games arcade. Just an idea. Thank you for your hospitality.

I visited courtesy of Qatar airlines due to a long transfer in Doha, and they gave me this nice and luxurious hotel. Very quiet and spacious room. Everything is rather new. Only drawback it is in the middle of nowhere between city and airport. Nice buffet also, by the way.

I absolutely love everything about this hotel. The staff is so professional & helpful. The hotel interior designing makes you feel home. The food is good, with variety of cuisine.

I was there for just one night, but even that was enough to know this was a great place. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. I was there with my daughter and she said we should come back on vacation not just a transfer stop :)

The hotel deservedly has 5 stars, the buffet is just shikaryj, the choice of any kitchen.

Fantastic deal for brunch. The chef Wije was outstanding as I have gluten and lemon allergy. Nothing was to much for him. He talked me through the ingredients of the whole buffet and even prepared some food especially for me. Highly recommend. Food, staff and service fantastic.

Good business hotel. Not so far from the airport. The swimming pool is too shallow! Great breakfast variety, even for vegans are good options, all alternative milks like soy, almond and coconut are on the counter no need to ask. Good Lebanese food restaurant with outdoor seating. Good Asian restaurant also with outdoor seating. Valet Parking too slow. You can park your car yourself.

Have been to The Cellar. Ordered seafood soup, I got a "cream" seafood soup that tasted more like a tomato soup flavored w seafood, Ridiculous. Bread tastes like poor quality, freshness is missing. The quality and taste of the food went down drastically comparing with 2 years ago : ( I used to love this place before, and recommended always to friends, unfortunately it's a big NO at the moment.

Elegant hotel with clubs, spa, pool and restaurant. I had a beautiful, large and modern room. Clean and cosy. The staff were at pains and friendly. Close to the airport and close to the city. Perfect for an interim stop. A particularly extensive breakfast buffet is offered. Recommend it further.

Nice Hotel and rooms. Good service with many options to eat in different restaurants. Close to airport and centrally located. Looking around Doha is quiet readily accessible as the center if Doha is quite close from the Hotel. Nice swimming pool too.

Very friendly staff. Great food. The room was damn near perfect. Overall — great value for the money. My only regret is the SPA center was fully booked and couldn't get a massage. Will definitely come back again.

Was impressed the last three times we stay here. This time: The breakfast was very dull and very unfriendly chef. The room was the same, so that was OK, but staff were remarkably helpful (5 stars for them) over all 3 stars. Might or might not return back.

Stayed here when we were delayed with Qatar flight. Very nice hotel, professional and nice staff. Roomservice had the best Club sandwich and Caesars sallad we ever had. Big rooms with perfect duvets.

We stayed here as a stop over provided by Qatar (Tip: If you are business class and you have a long stop over you can ask for a free hotel at the transfer desk at Doha) the room was fantastic with a great selection of L'Occitane products. Comfy bed and looks to have a fantastic breakfast buffet. They have a Jazz bar in the hotel which when we arrived sounded very good.

This is a preferred hotel for its buffet. So called business hotel but would rather choose MARRIOTT hotel at Ras bu abboud.

I have never stayed here. But the Oryx has one of my favorite bars 'The Jazz Bar'. And their Friday Brunch is a cracker. I love spending time in this hotel.

Best brunch in Qatar. It's every Friday from 12:00 to 16:00 in the Choice restaurant.

One of the most relaxing corporate hotels in Qatar, amazing staff, super comfortable rooms, 15 min's to the airport, and a great buffet for breakfast. Finally do not miss the Chinese Resturant for dinner.

We have meeting on hotel and after we have the lunch. Excellent place for meeting and café and good restaurant. This hotel is near to the airport and at same time under Qatar airways management.

Can I give this place 6 stars? STUNNING hotel. Probably one of the best, if not the best I have ever stayed in. I didn't get to go into the jazz club, but I could hear it from outside its doors and the music was great.

I have only one serious problem with this hotel which is not accepting any other hotel after trying their outstanding performance, professionalism, support and excellent behavior. Loved it. Indian Night. Food was good, catering to the diverse food habits of Indians. Service was great.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and hotel is OK. Design, ambience everything visual is five star. Except few negative points as below -> In room dinning is horrible, nothing I ordered was up to mark or worth repeat ordering -> Staff didnot look very happy, when I enquired with few people they said Oryx Rotana pays them as low as 1100 Riyals a month. Which is a shame because they charge very high to customers but a 5 star hotel must give 5 star salaries. I recommend the CEO and the decision makers to live a month on therr room service personal wages for a month and learn what is fair and what is not.

Very good varied buffet restaurant service every day of the week (I live in June) jazz club good gracious staff. Room cleaning very good. At the buffet for customers express cuisine cooked to order.
