One of the best hotel in Qatar for budget friendly travellers. Rooms price varies based on selection.
But for standard single bed, double bed and king size bed the rates are cheaper when compared to other hotels with the same facilities.
One thing which I love about this hotel is the location which is not crowded and places like cornice, airport, different malls and restaurants are all near by like under 15 to 30 mins.

I absolutely love this place! 5 star hotel with 5 star treatment. Friendly staff always upgrades me for free and late check out which is amazing. I’ve stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Room service is fast and efficient. The cute ladies at the front desk have fast safe check in and always greet me with a smile and perfect English. Best $50 you’ll spend on a hotel room in Qatar! We were shocked when we reached the hotel, it was not as the picture shown.
There is no privacy for the toilet. The shower area is spread from the room with glass, no lock for the toilet door.
There is a disco at the same level of car parking b2, so it is uncomfortable for the family with children.
Also, we can't sleep comfortably because of the loud music and noise from the bar and disco down.
The rooms are not clean enough, carpets have a lot of spots and dust, TV remote is not working, rooms are small… etc.
I don't recommend anyone to stay here.

Don't book this hotel!
This hotel scammed us. We booked a year prior to arrival through Booking. Com and everything was confirmed and fixed, but when we arrived they told us that the booking was canceled that afternoon because they could not withdraw the money from our creditcard? Even though we put in all the right details. They told us that the room we booked for 230 euros (4 nights) was gone and that we could now only book a room for 1400 euros. After hours of discussing we made a deal for 800 euros for 4 nights…
The room we ended up paying for was pretty, but the stress and the service were not worth it. Afterwards we read a lot of other reviews from guests who experienced the same with this hotel.
Scamming is not the way to go!
Oh and the breakfast is good.

Staff was so rude specially the Indian reception guy Save yourself the trouble and book another hotel. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. We arrived for check in and they announced us the reservation was cancelled and offer us a better room for 3 times the price we had booked. This is a well organise scam that they do as they lure customers with affordable rate and fake 5 stars. The staff is impolite and will put the blame on you to force you to pay a more expensive room. We had to find another hotel at 2am! Just look at the amount of negative comments. The positive comments are bought in or from the staff. This is not a friendly hotel and frankly it doesn’t even deserve a star.

Scam Alert: Avoid VIP Hotel Doha at All Costs.
I had a disastrous experience with VIP Hotel Doha, and I strongly advise against booking with them.
I made a reservation through Booking. Com, confirming my rate of 2400 riyals. However, upon arrival, the hotel claimed they had no rooms available, despite my confirmed booking. They even had the audacity to say that Booking. Com doesn't guarantee reservations.
When I questioned the availability, the receptionist brought out the manager, who proceeded to offer me the room at an inflated rate of 5000 riyals. This was a clear attempt to scam me.
What's worse is that I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable during the interaction. As a young female solo traveler, I was subjected to aggressive and intimidating behavior by the male manager and receptionist.
To add insult to injury, when I decided to leave and book elsewhere, I discovered that my bags had been taken and stored elsewhere in the hotel without my permission.
VIP Hotel Doha's staff showed a blatant disregard for Islamic courtesies and basic customer respect. They ruined my first day in Qatar and left a sour taste in my mouth.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT book with VIP Hotel Doha. They are a scam, and you will regret it. Look elsewhere for a better and more respectful stay.

I am deeply disappointed with the level of service at this hotel, which, unfortunately, did not even meet the basic expectations of a 1-star rating. We arrived in Doha around 12:00 PM and requested an early check-in, but were informed by the reception that this would incur an additional fee. As a result, we chose to wait until the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM and explore the city in the meantime.
Upon returning exactly at 3:00 PM, we were shocked to learn that our booking had been cancelled two hours earlier due to issues related to payment, despite the fact that both the hotel policy and Booking. Com clearly indicate that payment can be made upon arrival. Additionally, we had updated our payment information well in advance, but were unable to process the payment as the option was not available. Our reservation also had free cancellation, which further complicates the situation.
Furthermore, the staff was exceptionally unhelpful and unfriendly. Despite the claim that the hotel was busy, they repeatedly offered rooms at a significantly higher price. When we requested to use the reception’s phone to contact Booking. Com due to issues with our mobile cards, they refused. The reception manager was dismissive and even raised their voice, stating that they did not adhere to Booking. Com’s policies, but rather followed their own.
Overall, this experience has been highly frustrating and does not reflect the level of service expected from any hotel.

What an amazing service after a nightmare of a journey. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I needed to get a taxi, however the cheapest way was to have cash. I did not have cash. The staff trusted me and gave me cash until I got some out. I left my wallet in a public place and NOTHING was taken. Wow. A lovely experience. Thee room was upgraded to a king size for a fraction of a price, but it did.

VIP hotel is the best! Especially when connecting with their ethical gentle team. Many thanks to Mrs. Aya and Mrs. Rania for being kind and productive dealing with our requests, and of course the reception team we have met: Mrs. Alika and Mr. Mohamed…

Definitely a disappointing hotel. I do not recommend you to choose it. We waited for room service twice during the day. We went out and came back. We warned reception. Again we went out and came back. No one came. The reception is a complete disgrace. He can't help at all. We waited outside again for the room to be cleaned. We offered then to give us another room. They told us our all rooms reserved. However I knew they were available on many websites. In one word, disappointment…
Rooms also not clean as well. There were red stains on the carpet. The sofa in the room was filthy dirty.

Room service was not good, you need to wait for 2 hours… Rude manager and also the staff in the reception…
