give it a try and my woman is back to me now and we are happily

It’s a bit worn. Needs a bit of an update. The bar is just four chairs and a countertop. Bartender was very friendly.

I have worked in Portugal for many years, yet, it wasn't until I took a holiday in 2012 that |I stayed at the Hotel Florida. All I will say is, it was fantastic. Thank you. :)

Very old hotel, bad plumbing and linen. No parking. Of good — friendly staff, good view from the breakfast room and breakfasts themselves are decent.

Quite outdated but for the price and location, staying a night or two it’s good. 15min walk to city centre. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Nice but little bit too much to have 4 star. We have nice room with view to street and some extra, balcony. Breakfast is basic.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Lisbon! We had a balcony which was just great overviewing the city Center. Nice and clean room and bath room.

Very nice hotel but above all very comfortable for the perfect location. Metro and bus stop right in front of the hotel! Very clean and the staff very nice. I do not put 5 stars just because we came across an interior room that was full of air conditioning engines of the various rooms and the first night the noise was very loud. Luckily the next day we went to complain they changed the room (luckily it was available) and there we managed to sleep peacefully.
Another small flaw, was the bathroom: too small, there was little space between the toilet and the sink and between the sink and the bidet, which made it difficult to use them. However we overall found ourselves very well, especially for the courtesy of the staff and the perfect location.

Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. Great location. Front desk staff 'mostly' uncaring and inattentive; the odd one at reception desk was good. No ice machine and not always convenient to get ice cubes in evening, though there was a mini fridge that worked well. Not sure we'd stay here again; likely better choices/value within a few blocks which aren't well advertised.

Good hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The bathrooms are with bathtub, which I personally do not like too, but very clean. At breakfast do not expect a super buffet, is small but has everything, several loaves, very good fruit, eggs, cereals, sausages, natural juices (at least the orange) … everything! A very quiet and cozy lounge, and the views, spectacular! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good 4 star hotel, just 15 minutes walk from the center.

The place where it is located is unbeatable, it is an area of bourgeois buildings and palaces. It is 15minutes walk from the historic center, but the walk is nice and flat. He lacks to look after the details, he sees some malfunction. It's a shame because it shows that it was tastefully designed, but there is no impeccable maintenance. The towels are for renovation, and maybe a little more careful in the housekeeping. Without being dirty it doesn't glitter when you enter the room. The beds are very comfortable!
We haven't tasted breakfast because for the price of one we had breakfast two in Paderia to Portuguesa which is across the street. Rich and varied cheap. Sandwich with freshly baked bread, freshly squeezed natural juice, French croissant with chocolate, coffees, all by 10euros the two! However, it is advisable, for that price you will find nothing in the area, here is the Ritz, and hotels like that. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room are good size with good amenities. Staff is helpful also.

The hotel is ok but four stars would be when it opened, because what it is now would give you three dust. Be careful if reserve not give you a room that gives the inner courtyard, the noise of the restaurant exhaust is unbearable, also was not well sound proof, so much so we asked to change it, which they could not do until the next day. The new room was somewhat better, although the ones next door could be heard perfectly. The same is that we are poorly accustomed, but the four stars I have gone have had better services and I have not bothered anything or anyone to sleep.

Nice 4star hotel, excellent location, metro station around the corner, Rossio train station 15 min walk, beautiful area of the city.

Great original hotel for the themed rooms of the various actors and poets perfect semi-central location in Lisbon but especially very close to the subway stop that leads making a change at the airport.

Nice and dedicated decoration in the name of the room "James Dean" My room had a terrace (opposite side to the Praça de Pombal) with seats and small table.
The black spot is the flush that broke during my stay and that was not repaired.
Breakfast at 15th is a rather complete buffet with smoked salmon, cakes, cut fruit, juices, scrambled eggs…
The location of the hotel is central due to the proximity of the metro and its blue and yellow lines.
The bar does not always have fruit for cocktails and closes at 10pm.

Location is awesome, the staff are friendly, breakfast is good and the rooms are retro cool. We'll be back to stay here again for a third time if we return to Lisbon!

Great experience, the staff treated us very well and was very friendly to us. We loved the décor and theming of the rooms and the facilities. Would repeat without hesitation if I go back to Lisbon.

Hotel in the heart of the city very well connected. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff could be a little more comfortable and the rooms are clean, but they need a good renovation.

Great value for the money. We went during the holidays in Spain and the price was one of the cheapest in London. Spacious rooms, clean and well located close to the main avenue where all the high end brands are located. Parking was 12€ but there was a chance also to park in the street in front of the hotel. Super attentive and nice staff.

Day morning. During the day they switched my room and cleaned up everything possible. So after a very bad start it was a good stay in lisbon. The breakfast was ok and the new room also. My only problem was the light in the rooms — it was dark, red and no chance to read a book, or really see anything in the room. In Germany we would call it "Puff-Beleuchtung" (whorehouse-lighting).

I would say that apart from the lack of water kettle for a hot drink… the rest all OK. Breakfast and plenty of choice at the buffet.

Very good place with an amazing location. The whole hotel is inspired in old movies, the furniture and all staff. The rooms are good and clean, with a good space to work with computer, the bathroom is very good and beautiful, only a couple of details like soap and Kleenex but it's ok. The service is very kind and available to do your life better. I will repeat this place.

Modern Hotel, clean and friendly! Polite and Professional staff! Clean, spacious rooms with new furnishings! Exceptional view on the square of the Marquis of Pombal where you will find the Metro from which you can reach all the destinations you prefer!

A hotel with a good location, nice views (exceptionally from the breakfast restaurant), but in need of repairs. Slippers are not included.

Rooms with nice décor dedicated to actors and filmmakers of famous films but that would need a freshen up. Safe only supported and not fixed, TV with very few channels, empty bar fridge and especially without parking.
And to finish at the reception there are two who do not speak English or Italian.

Convenient location to reach by car. Metro within walking distance. Friendly and patient staff.

If you decide to visit Lisbon. DO NOT go to this hotel. The sheets are dirty, the beds are uncomfortable, the wall are so thin you can here the neighbors brushing their teeth (honest truth). The breakfast is really not good and the communication between the staff is obsolete. My sheets were dirty (pee spots everywhere) and were changed after 7 hours and 2 requests made to the staff. There are better hotels in Lisbon than this one!

Staff is really very cooperative adjusting. Rooms are very clean and in good condition. Breakfast is also excellent. I would recommend this hotel. U will receive wake up cal at whatever time you require. In short excellent services given by hotel.

Good hotel without being special. Convenient for the location close to a Metro stop which allows you to be in the center in a moment. The breakfast is plentiful in a room with nice views over the square and the gardens. Small but comfortable rooms. The bathroom is not spotless and quite uncomfortable with bath-shower.

Reception quite remote. Sanitary s to renovate, and bedding to change. But good location, very decent breakfasts staff very nice.

Air conditioned rooms, friendly staff, comfy pillows, fairly standard. Best part was location next to metro as well as being central.

We were on 5 April 17 at Florida. Very friendly and available to give us good addresses of restaurants. Great location at the foot of the Bompal metro, ideal to get around Barcelona. Very nice rooms and breakfast with view on the Place of Bompal. We recommend.

The hotel very nice, all perfect less the food… Best to eat out of the hotel.

Not clean, poor breakfast, quite far from the central, the unfriendly staff.
