Our experience was beyond our expectations.

A very relaxed and comfy bed and breakfast feel to the place. There are 6 rooms and the common areas are stunning. We had a room with a view of the lagoon and of the ocean on the side.

Wow. What a magical experience. Pedro picked us up in Porto and after a 30 minute scenic drive along the Duoro (recommended! ), and several stories along the way, we arrived at his cottage.

The service was amazing and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. The place itself is a little slice of heaven you can relax by the pool, soak in the jacuzzi, and just enjoy being surrounded by nature.

I was doing some hiking in the Douro Valley park and needed to place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the view gorgeous!

Great location on the hilltop, Douro view was amazing. Beautiful boutique property and welcoming host. Manuela was always smiling and has kept the property in good shape.

Amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our six nights and could have stayed longer! There are many places within a half hour drive, and fantastic grocery stores only 5 minutes away. A car is essential.

Original and beautifully decorated hotel : you sleep in big old wine tanks. One is a swimming pool. The place is surrounded by vineyards. It’s peaceful and beds are very comfortable.

Beautiful boutique hotel, which can be considered as a great winter getaway to spend time by the fireplace. Quirky design elements make one want to shoot instagram-able pictures.

Wonderful place to rest both outside and in the bedroom enjoying the charm of the lighted salamander and the well-filled relaxation bath! Very large room with all amenities.
