5 star luxury hotel. The sunbathing are down by the seafront is outstanding. Fantastic restaurant at the lower sunbathing area. Rooms are very spacious.

Cliff Bay was exceptional in many ways.

This was our second stay at Les Suites after many years staying at Reids Palace.
Portobay hotels is an superbly run chain with great staff and excellent restaurants.

My wife and I have just returned from three weeks at Les Suites. Our third visit in eighteen months.

It’s our last night at Quinta da Casa Branca in Funchal, and tomorrow we will be very sorry to have to leave and go home.

We really enjoyed the stay! Staff at reception efficient and friendly and the cleaning team were exceptional! The room was looking out onto the garden which was lovely.

Fabulous apartment, fabulous facilities and excellent onsite eating venues all at a reasonable price.

Stayed at this hotel 2 years ago so decided to spend another 10 days here.

The hotel was just as it was when we went last year and we enjoyed staying there again. We were a bit disappointed initially that we had a smaller balcony but the view was still fabulous.

The perfect retreat in Funchal. Old world family owned hotel on an historic walled estate. Magnificent views of Funchal and the sea. Quiet neighbour hood. Excellent dining.

Wonderful stay here over the last week in a double garden view room — a short walk from the main hotel.

This property is perfectly located near a wide choice of shops, restaurants, and bars, with the added bonus of beautiful sea views.

Excellent hotel! We just stayed there for a week all inclusive and this hotel gave us a free upgrade to a full sea facing room, the food choices were just superb even as vegetarians.

Our recent stay at Solar do Carvalho proved to be a tranquil getaway. We selected a ground-floor room with a double bed, providing a snug retreat.

The hotel is a secluded gated little oasis in the heart of Lido, Funchal.

What a fabulous find this was! Such a little oasis hidden behind a large green door. Three traditional villas, with a modern addition housing a really great indoor pool and additional rooms.

The best hotel in Madeira. Beautiful decorations. We had a suite with pool and sea view. We took wedding pictures here too. Clean rooms with attention to detail. A great big indoor swimming pool.

Rooms were clean, great breakfast, amazing lunch/dinner. We recommend to try steak and fresh fish! only negative that night was a bit noisy from the restaurant under balcony.

A beautiful hotel. Our apartment in the hotel was stunning with gorgeous views of the garden and the sea beyond and was very quiet.

Amazing experience, we absolutley loved our stay from start to finish. A lovely quiet place with amazing views, wonderful and friendly staff.

It was a last minute change of plans in the end of the year. Christina and Theresa at reception were warm and cheerful and found a lovely room with seaside view at the very last minute.

The hotel was nice and functional. We spent a week here in spring 2025 and used it as a base for exploring the island.
Breakfast was excellent but the large dining room was always extremely busy.

Just came back from an unforgettable week in the beautiful Tui Blu Madeira Gardens. This hotel is just perfect. The rooms, gardens and facilities are simply stunning and were perfect for relaxation.

A great hotel with apartments that have a small kitchen area in the room. Fantastic for those who eat Gluten Free or other allergies on holiday.
All staff were welcoming and helpful.

I stayed in an apartment which was very well furnished with a fridge and kitchen. There were also 2 patios, one from the living room and one from the bedroom.

Great staff and beautiful location near a few viewpoints. Parking was ok and on par with the rest of the island.

This is a lovely and elegant hotel with excellent facilities and a superb sauna and pool with a hot tub. Great to rest and relax after a full day of walks and winery visits with friends.

Stayed for a week and everything was so well organised, the rooms were extremely clean and those amazing views to the mountains.

The staff was lovely and helpful, the breakfast was very good and diverse everything was fresh. The facilities (pool, jacuzzi) were good and clean.

We loved our stay here. Warm welcome. Good sized room for two people. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen are was really adequate for our needs. Beds look firm, but they are very comfy. Had excellent sleep.
