Hotels in Madeirã with Breakfast

This was our second stay at Les Suites after many years staying at Reids Palace.
Portobay hotels is an superbly run chain with great staff and excellent restaurants.

My wife and I have just returned from three weeks at Les Suites. Our third visit in eighteen months.

A bit out of the centre but that is more them made up by the service and the quality of the hotel.

5 star luxury hotel. The sunbathing are down by the seafront is outstanding. Fantastic restaurant at the lower sunbathing area. Rooms are very spacious.

Comfortable rooms overlooking the sea. Lovely outdoor pool with direct access to the sea.

Great location, right by the sea and a wonderfully heated pool. On foot they are there. 45 minutes to the old town, or you can take the bus, the stop is just above the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel 2 years ago so decided to spend another 10 days here.

The hotel was just as it was when we went last year and we enjoyed staying there again. We were a bit disappointed initially that we had a smaller balcony but the view was still fabulous.

A quiet comfortable hotel a little out of town, but with a convenient shuttle bus during the week and a local bus stop round the corner. Rooms are a little old fashioned but we knew that.

You can tell that this hotel is special as soon as you come up the drive to the main house. We had a great welcome and we were personally shown to our room, which was ready early.

It’s our last night at Quinta da Casa Branca in Funchal, and tomorrow we will be very sorry to have to leave and go home.

We really enjoyed the stay! Staff at reception efficient and friendly and the cleaning team were exceptional! The room was looking out onto the garden which was lovely.

This property is perfectly located near a wide choice of shops, restaurants, and bars, with the added bonus of beautiful sea views.

This has to be the most welcoming hotel we've ever been to. We were checked in with smiles and warmth.

We have just returned from a fabulous 4 week holiday at the Enotel Lido Madeira and can't rate it highly enough.

Excellent hotel! We just stayed there for a week all inclusive and this hotel gave us a free upgrade to a full sea facing room, the food choices were just superb even as vegetarians.

The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. It’s not a brand-new property, so there are some minor things that could use attention, but overall it’s pleasant.

The best hotel in Madeira. Beautiful decorations. We had a suite with pool and sea view. We took wedding pictures here too. Clean rooms with attention to detail. A great big indoor swimming pool.

Great staff and beautiful location near a few viewpoints. Parking was ok and on par with the rest of the island.

This is a lovely and elegant hotel with excellent facilities and a superb sauna and pool with a hot tub. Great to rest and relax after a full day of walks and winery visits with friends.

A great hotel with apartments that have a small kitchen area in the room. Fantastic for those who eat Gluten Free or other allergies on holiday.
All staff were welcoming and helpful.

I stayed in an apartment which was very well furnished with a fridge and kitchen. There were also 2 patios, one from the living room and one from the bedroom.

Nothing shy of a wonderful experience. The resort itself it’s absolutely stunning with the sea view.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pestana Promenade Hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent.

It was a last minute change of plans in the end of the year. Christina and Theresa at reception were warm and cheerful and found a lovely room with seaside view at the very last minute.

The hotel was nice and functional. We spent a week here in spring 2025 and used it as a base for exploring the island.
Breakfast was excellent but the large dining room was always extremely busy.

The staff was lovely and helpful, the breakfast was very good and diverse everything was fresh. The facilities (pool, jacuzzi) were good and clean.

We loved our stay here. Warm welcome. Good sized room for two people. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen are was really adequate for our needs. Beds look firm, but they are very comfy. Had excellent sleep.

A fantastic boutique hotel that is making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Everyone from the staff are super friendly and helping you with their genuine smiles.

What a Beautiful place to relax and connect with nature.
Stayed for a week and everything was so well organised, the rooms were extremely clean and those amazing views to the mountains.

The hotel is alright. It’s a steep walk up so make sure your hotel drops you off on the top! Parking is a problem although there is a tiny parking garage.

The view from the balcony was great – overlooking both the ocean and the city. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided.

We stayed at TUI BLUE Madeira Gardens for 14 nights, and while there were some wonderful highlights, the hotel overall falls short of the 4-star expectations usually associated with the Savoy

Stayed here a number of times, it's clean, welcoming, friendly, helpful staff etc etc. Food has always been good with a good selection at breakfast and dinner.
