Arouca Hotels

If you are looking a place to stay and hike Arouca Geopark this is a good place to stay. Rooms are big and I even had a nice balcony.

Very charming hotel, inspiring nature and rural surroundings. The hosts and staff were exceedingly nice and attentive and the decoration is sober, simple and elegant.

Probably the best service I have ever experienced — and that includes some of the most exclusive hotels in the world.
I arrived here for just one night stay — I wanted to go hiking with my dog.

This hotel is elegant, very comfortable, and it’s located in a beautiful setting in the Auruca forest, across from water falls, natural grottos, and waking/hiking trails. It is a jewel.

This was a nice surprise. Like a hidden paradise on the brink of the village. Quite and peaceful. Rooms are 18th century style with a some modern details. There is a pool and very nice surrounding.

The breakfast was simple, bread rolls with ham and cheese, and some nice jams, with filter coffee. It was fine and there was plenty to eat.

My niece and I spent a relaxing night at the Vila Guimar. Our hosts, a beautiful couple, were fabulous.

The rooms are modern, very comfortable and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the hosts are extremely friendly.

Private car park, location, comfy bed, silence room.
The TV in the room is outdated, too small and with poor image and sound quality.

This is a lovely renovated hotel with clean, spacious rooms. The view from our top floor accommodation was wonderful overlooking the mountains and village.

The perfect place for a few days of family vacation, in an environment that mixes tradition and exoticism. Attentive staff who welcome guests with unusual familiarity and genuine friendliness.

We (3 couples) stayed here to be near the Passadicos do Paiva (8km). The accommodations in the Casa were lovely, as is the town, Alvarenga.

Very well received by the owner, very useful gym and very welcoming facilities.

Jose is a brilliant host. We loved his hospitality. The house is brilliant.

Dear all, we were very happy with our stay at Villa Tavares Suites. Contact and check-in/out procedures with host Jorge and co-host Patricia were very easy.

Positive: Central location right at the town square of Arouca. Café/Bar is just downstairs.

Positive: The little corridor/entrance between the room and the toilet was a plus. 😁. Negative: The location of the coffee maker was good, but was missing the outlet to plug the machine.

The Host was super helpful and enjoyable, and gave us good recommendations.
The room we stayed in was very spacious, organized, and had a nice view to the garden/pool.

Simply AMAZING! I would really recommend that you visit this beautiful villa. Olivia was an amazing host even from a far but everything was brilliant.
