Fantastic place to stay, everything very clean and comfortable, as well as the friendliness of Mr. Vasco and his wife, always available and ready to help.

Great place to stay with family or large group of friends. Small swimming pool great for young kids. 15 minutes walk to village with small supermarket, restaurant and bar.

Fantastic location, villa and pool/grounds much bigger than look in photos. Great place to stay and relax or use as a base to visit towns national park etc.

We stayed at Casa Artelena in November 2023 and booked last minute by phone. Artur welcomed us with great stories and a wonderful breakfast. Our room was incredibly cozy (super silent as well!

I booked through Airbnb but unfortunately didn’t do a review on time so I’ll do it in here. We booked 2 nights (6 girls) and we had a wonderful stay.

It was fun experience where you feel like at home almost instantly. Beside hostel is great chill zone where you can read at peace, be lazy, get sunlight etc.

Rustic with just enough panache to keep it intriguing. Cold at night in mid-April, with only space heaters.

The room was small but had everything you needed to spend a few days comfortably.

Very calm place, incredible view, loved the swimming pool. The staff was super friendly, and offered us a food basket on arrival.

+ Location in the top of Monsanto, right opposite the restaurant, which worked despite winter season.
The hosts are hospitable, thank them for the fresh bread and other as welcome package.
