Cheap Hotels in Algarve

A very pleasant place to stay – clean and quiet. The owner is super friendly and caring, and the volunteers are wonderful.

I’ve been coming here for surfing three years in a row, and I’m always very happy with my stay. This is a great hostel!

Stayed here in November for 7 nights B&B. I really don't get all the negative reviews. For a 3*, this is excellent value for money. Just don't expect a 5* service at a 3* price.

My fifth visit in two years! Friendly staff, spacious apartments, great pool, delicious bar food and great value cocktails. Only a short walk from the beautiful Praia da Rocha.

Amazing place to stay, super clean and friendly staff. Family trip, definitely we will come back.

Absolutely fantastic place. Very well located between Albufeira and Vilamoura. We had planned to hire a car but didn’t in the end. Uber always available and relatively cheap.

A strict check-in times with a very friendly and helpful lady. Apartment was spacious and well laidout, with separated bedroom and kitchen/lounge area. The outside verandah was enjoyed at sunset.

This is already our fifth year in a row staying at these apartments, and we truly love this place. Everything is wonderful: the beautiful view, the excellent location, and the amazing staff.

Great hostel to a great price!
I stayed there for two weeks back in October and it was perfect for me while doing a yoga workshop next doors.

Great Hostel.
Nadine is such a lovely and kind host.
The beds are super comfortable and the rooms, toilets and kitchen were clean.

Great experience! New and functional hotel with large rooms and a few steps from the center. Starting point for visiting places in the area and returning in the evening.

It is a perfect place if you are looking for a cheap and charming hostel.

Fantastic place close to shops, bars, cafés and beach… everyone very friendly and helpful. Staff always.

Amazing! I loved staying at Macarena Beach Hostel! Both the hostel and its staff made my experience in Lagos very special. It's clean and the facilities have everything you need, even a pool table!

A lovely little big place if that makes sense? There are no lifts, this wouldnt be great place to stay if u had some sort of disability. Too many stairs to climb. Staff were pleasant.

Just had a week in vila bela,, what a lovely quaint hotel. Real old style Portuguese feel. There is road works going on at the moment which is noisy if you are hanging about during the day.

Enjoyed our short stay at Merry’s Hotel. The room was clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The hotel was quiet. And the staff were super friendly. Would recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It's a simple and clean place with a very friendly owner. If you looking for quiet, it will be the best choice.

Wonderful stay here on our bikepacking trip. The room was clean and warm, and the communal kitchen was so nice to have access to! Sunset and sunrise views were incredible :)

This Hotel is a good location for very good beaches within relatively easy reach.
The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds, well sized rooms and the pool facility is also excellent.

Nice nice place, very friendly reception, good price compared to other hotels, its a bit old and not renewed for many years but its clean which is the most important thing, the old style has a bit

Thank you so much Jessica and Joyce for making my stay so special 🫶. Staff were so welcoming and helpful, excellent location, Bathrooms and dorms cleaned everyday, lovely outdoor lounge area, met so

All good delightful location helpful staff nice accommodation clean tidy and well kept worth a return visit.

It was a great place, better than expected, good price and very clean.

A very central, clean airy space to stay with a shared kitchen and bathrooms. This was not a problem and there was never a queue. Great communication and easy check in and late check out.

Good hostel that does the job. The garden /terrasse is a plus. Lots of toilets and showers. Could be improved by more stuffs in the kitchen or making sure we can close all the doors in the bathrooms.

Charming little hostel. I really liked the self-check-in process. The hostel itself was super comfortable, spotless, and had beautiful common areas. I especially loved the courtyard.

Stayed as a couple for 5 nights in March 2026.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. What truly made our stay outstanding was the lady at the reception. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The people there are very kind! It was my first time staying in a hostel and didn’t know what to expect. You will love this place! It’s close to the beach and in the heart of all the actions.

The place was great overall, I would recommend a few things such as a big mirror to see outfits, option for breakfast or snacks or a dinner once a week together, the bar crawl was super fun, I would
